Harry Potter: I Am Big D

Chapter 121: Chapter 119 No wonder it’s Dursley.

Chapter 119

"Oh, Merlin, I have to give him a full ten points!"

Lockhart was very excited, more so than when his book was a bestseller, because Dudley's perfect answer

and his identity as teacher Jerry made Lockhart seem to consider him a fan and confidant.

What could be more delightful for an author who is far superior than you than having a reader who loves your

book?

Lockhart patted Dudley's shoulder enthusiastically, continually praising him.

"This class has brought me so many surprises, so I want to give you all a little surprise too." Lockhart said mysteriously, bending down to pull out a large cage covered with a cloth from behind the podium and placed it on the desk, speaking in a lowered voice.

"From now on, be cautious! My task is to teach you to defend against the most evil things known in the wizarding world! You will face the most terrifying things in this classroom. But remember, as long as I am here, you will not be harmed."

"I ask you to stay calm."

With Lockhart's words, the cage began to shake violently, as if something truly terrifying were locked inside.

This made many little wizards involuntarily shrink their necks, though more were still looking on with curiosity.

"I must ask you to refrain from screaming." Lockhart said again, lowering his voice: "That will only anger them!"

The classroom was eerily quiet, everyone holding their breath.

Lockhart lifted the cloth, revealing the mystery.

He said in an exaggerated tone: "Just caught a Cornish pixie."

Gryffindor: ???

Slytherin: ???

A Cornish pixie, a type of monster, is a small humanoid creature about eight inches tall, with a pointy face. They are very mischievous, enjoying playing various pranks and tricks.

If we talk about danger, they are even less dangerous than a crumple-horned snorkack.

If we say they aren't dangerous, this creature possesses strength far beyond their size; two or three of them together can easily hoist up a minor wizard, especially in terms of destruction—nobody dares to claim second place when they are doing mischief.

However, the little wizards in the classroom seemed not to take these little troublemakers seriously.

In their eyes, the Cornish pixies, goblins, and kneazles were all creatures of the same level, nothing to worry about. A very simple spell could subdue them. The little wizards from Gryffindor even let out unabashed snickers.

"What's so funny?"

Lockhart was not pleased with the little wizards' reaction, as he had purchased these Cornish pixies at a high price from someone else. The goal was to give the little wizards a 'surprise'. But in the end, there was only delight, no surprise.

"Alright." Seeing that everyone was dismissive, Lockhart simply opened the cage door: "Let's see how you deal with them!"

Chaos erupted as the pixies shot out like rockets, flying all over the room. They began to wreak havoc in the classroom, shattering glass, tearing books, and upending cabinets.

When there are too many of anything, it can become troublesome, and that was the case with Cornish pixies. A few minutes later, most of the little wizards had taken refuge under the tables.

"Come help me catch them; they're just a bunch of pixies!" Seeing that the little wizards understood the terror of the pixies, Lockhart rolled up his sleeves, stepped forward in a savior-like pose, and waved his wand: "Peskippiksy Pesternomi!"

However, nothing happened next. It was clear that his spell had failed.

Among the very few who hadn't ducked under the table was Hermione, who couldn't help but facepalm: "I knew he was of no use."

After Lockhart's ineffective casting, one of the Cornish pixies flew by and snatched his wand. Several pixies immediately surrounded it, grabbing hold of the wand; the tip of the wand emitted purple rays, causing fireworks to erupt inside the classroom.

"Maybe it's a side effect." Neville slapped away a pixie that was trying to get close to him.

Ron chimed in: "Look, now they even have weapon."

"What do we do? Should we leave? Or help this idiot?"

In response, Dudley clapped his hands together.

The array on the back of his hands emitted a faint glow; the classroom's walls, ceiling, and floor seemed to come alive, with countless large hands made of stone and wood reaching out from above, capturing the mischievous pixies firmly.

The pixies, who had just been wreaking havoc in the classroom, were subdued in the next moment.

wandless magic!

Before Lockhart could say anything, Dudley clapped his hands together again, and a new cage appeared on the desk. The hands placed the captured Cornish pixies back inside, and then these stone and wood hands gradually disappeared into the walls, ceiling, and floor.

There were exactly one hundred thirty-two of them, not one more, not one less.

"Professor Lockhart, your wand." Dudley handed the wand back to Lockhart: "You wanted us to practice in real combat, didn't you?"

"Hmm?" Lockhart paused slightly before quickly reacting, hurriedly defending himself: "Of course! That's exactly right. It's no wonder Mr. Dursley could guess my intentions."

Then he feigned disappointment as he looked at the little wizards peeking out from under the tables: "You've disappointed me; so many people didn't notice, thankfully Mr. Dursley guessed my deeper purpose."

His expression, attitude, and tone made it seem as if there really was something to it.

The thickness of his skin could make even city walls bow down in shame.

"For this, Mr. Dursley has earned ten points."

Lockhart said seriously, and indeed many little wizards were deceived, believing Lockhart's actions were intentional.

Just then, the bell rang for class to end.

"Well then, Professor Lockhart, we'll be leaving now."

Dudley called to Hermione and the others, lifting the cage as they walked out of the classroom.

When he took the cage away, the table that had been level with the others was now significantly shorter.

Unless using the Philosopher's Stone, equivalent exchange cannot create something out of nothing.

"Where are you taking them?" Lockhart asked reflexively.

Dudley's wandless magic had left a deep impression on him.

There was no doubt that was a mark of an exceptional wizard.

'This guy might even be stronger than me.'

Lockhart thought to himself, lacking self-awareness.

"Professor, they are my trophies now."

Dudley turned his back to Lockhart, his voice slow but penetrating: "How to handle my trophies is my business."

Under the watchful eyes of the data magic, the heads of the Cornish pixies bore the large characters for domestication.

It was time for magical creature training to take effect.
