He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact

Chapter 249. Uproar 1.

Kailen quickly got to work.

He was supposed to make a Talent Enhancing Elixir, but not just any ordinary one.

In this kind of situation where the said party had attempted breakthrough after breakthrough and experienced backlashes, he had to make sure that the purity level of the talent enhancing elixirs was greatly enhanced, else if the individual consumed the elixir and experienced even the faintest backlash, it could spell the end of their cultivation journey.

Kailen, although confident that with a purity level of more than 91 percent, he could complete the mission, couldn't take any chances in this kind of special situation.

One mistake and he would fail the mission.

He didn't want that happening.

This was where the Solar Achelum Herb came in.

The Solar Achelum Herb was akin to a special alchemy flame.

Although it could not outright increase the purity level of a pill or elixir like a special alchemy flame could, it could still increase the purity level of an alchemical product.

"Coupled with the effect of my infinite Alchemy flame, I'm sure that the purity level will soar to at least 97 percent. This way, the individual will not suffer any backlashes, and the mission will not only be fulfilled, I can also accomplish it in a way that could trigger the special achievement announcement."

Utilising his spiritual power, Kailen started mixing the ingredients after making a very potent cauldron with a couple of his shadow creatures.

Several ingredients floated under the influence of his spiritual power into the cauldron, currently floating in the air.

The infinite alchemy flame loomed, equally floating and burning wildly beneath the cauldron at a well-adjusted and steady temperature.

The ingredients were refined, alongside the Solar Achelum Herb in the cauldron under the controlled heat of the infinite alchemy flame, courtesy of Kailen's spiritual power.

Very soon, a profound scent wafted in the room, spreading outwards towards different directions.

In the room, forty minutes later, a gem-like gel-like liquid floated out of the cauldron, pulsing with otherworldly purity.

Kailen felt like he was literally bathing in an extremely pure and holy pool, just from the presence of the liquid.

"Seriously, if I didn't have the time dilation artifact, which literally made these talent enhancing elixirs useless to me, I would have literally kept this elixir to myself."

Kailen muttered to himself, completely amazed at the results he had achieved.

Quickly, a small flask hovered from amongst the flasks in the room towards Kailen.

The liquid floated into the flask, after which Kailen sealed the flask.

All that he had to do now was to deliver the product to the said party in need of the product.

Suddenly.

[Academy Wide announcement:

Special achievement earned.

Congratulations to First Year Student Kailen Darkhaven for being the first rank 1 alchemist, and also the first alchemist since the founding of the academy to manufacture an alchemical product with a purity level of 98 percent.

The academy has rewarded him with 10,000 student credits.]

"As expected," Kailen mused to himself.

The female rabbit demi-human (Demihuman is the general name for humanoid lifeforms with animal features), who had looked down on Kailen earlier, felt like she was hallucinating.

Being a rank 1 Alchemist herself, she knew what this meant.

98 percent purity level?

How was this possible?

Even those extremely gifted and powerful alchemists had at most 91 percent purity level, which made them exceptional VIPs wherever they went.

Did this guy have some special alchemy flame?

But even if he did, that shouldn't be enough to give him a purity level of 98 percent.

It had to be understood that achieving even a purity level of 91 percent required almost endless years of alchemical experience, and precise control over spiritual power and alchemical flames, perfect understanding of the intricacies and principles of alchemy, such as temperature control, which ingredients worked better with which ingredients, what cauldrons worked better for manufacturing certain products, etc.

It was not an easy task! Only an extremely few could get to this level.

It was literally impossible to get to this level, even for veteran alchemists! (This was why many had been skeptical to believe Kailen's results after the rank 1 alchemy test, even with videos circulating and several confirmations by the Alchemy Association. It was not that they doubted the Alchemy Association; it was just too absurd for them to believe.)

And yet, this guy had achieved this?

Had she heard this somewhere, she would have laughed it off as some delirious joke.

But the academy announcement system would not lie about something like this!!!!!

Which meant that it was true.

At this realization, the bunny demihuman felt so ashamed and stupid for what she had done to Kailen earlier.

She remembered the nonchalant expression on his face earlier when she told him to fuck off.

"He must have thought I was some sort of clown he couldn't even be bothered to waste his time on.

Also, I missed such a good chance to be friends with someone like that?

Damn! I really fucked this up!"

She felt her world was crumbling down at this point.

Was this what regret felt like?

Everlong and Esimo had just finished sparring with one another.

Currently, they were seated in the training hall of Esimo's villa, engaged in a conversation.

"So you are telling me that he's your neighbor?"

Esimo found it intriguing.

"Yeah. Surprising, right?"

Esimo nodded.

"Yah, what are the odds."

He scratched his chin slightly then added, "I heard he returned from the Seragun plane unharmed."

She nodded, and replied, "Do you believe in the rumors that he ran away because he couldn't complete the mission?"

Esimo chuckled, finding the question funny. "That guy? Naaa. He's unreadable. He was able to outsmart the Harkers and escalate the conflict between them and the Darkhavens with just a single act. Do you think someone like that will act impulsively?"

Everlong expected this sort of answer from Esimo.

He may be a brainless brute sometimes, but there were times where he could use his head well.

"Definitely not. I'm sure whatever he's up to, he knows what he's doing," Everlong said with a yawn that betrayed her lady-like behavior people not close to her were used to. Naturally, Esimo seemed used to this side of her, as he seemed unsurprised.

She added, "I'm even sure he may be able to complete that impossible alchemy mission."

Esimo widened his eyes in surprise. "It's quite rare to see you think so highly of someone."

"Yeah. I am shocked myself. It's just, that guy is someone we have to befriend. I have a feeling he's gonna make waves in the academy, and across the empire very soon."

Everlong said with undeterred confidence and certainty, her tone confident.

"Yeah."

Suddenly...

Their ID slot screens buzzed, revealing a notification that left them wondering whether or not they were hallucinating.
