Chapter 770 - 770: The Exit is Sealed

Chapter 770: Chapter 770: The Exit is Sealed

Although there were many aspects of Daniel Marshall that Olivia Jenkins disagreed with, when it came to the promotional video, Olivia couldn’t find any fault. She acknowledged him.

As long as it helps more people, regardless of who is engaged in charity, Olivia has no objections.

After shooting the second installment of the charity reality show, Olivia still refused to see Daniel. There really was no need to meet.

Everyone was doing their own charity work, which was also nice. There wasn’t a need to do everything together.

Besides, when Olivia came to Discovery County, she was genuinely at work and she didn’t want to waste her time on romance.

Olivia didn’t read the WeChat messages that Daniel sent to her, she deleted them all. She didn’t want that to affect any of her decisions.

Grace Ziegler also watched Daniel’s short film.

Even though Grace had many complaints and she harbored much resentment and hatred, she hid it all.

She couldn’t act impulsively, she had to keep her cool.

Being at a disadvantage, she had to patiently wait for the best opportunity to strike back.

Grace always believed that woman won’t be lucky forever, she would definitely have bad times too. Once Grace had the opportunity to kick her while she’s down, things would get better.

Grace sent Daniel a WeChat message, saying she watched his promotional short film. All of it was full of praises for Daniel, praising him for doing a good job and assuring him that he would surely succeed.

Although Daniel didn’t reply to her, Grace didn’t care. She just needed to make her presence felt by Daniel, she couldn’t let him forget her.

The third and fourth episodes were shot smoothly. The newly arrived performers also cooperated well with David Jefferson.

At noon, the entire crew was taking a break when Daniel arrived.

Olivia still didn’t want to see him. Currently, she was busy watching the footage in her room.

Suddenly, someone shouted loudly, “Run, there’s an earthquake warning on TV!”

On hearing this, Olivia rushed out of the room and began to evacuate everyone from the crew.

In a flash, the director ran towards her, and Olivia grabbed him and asked, “What’s wrong?”

“I ran too fast, I forgot to take the USB drive, I haven’t backed up the footage shot today.”

Olivia decided immediately, saying, “I’ll get it, you guys go first and evacuate to a safe open area.”

The director nodded and then quickly ran out.

Daniel was helping with the evacuation. Seeing Olivia running into the room, he followed her.

As soon as Olivia got the USB drive, there was a violent shake.

Before Olivia could react, Daniel was holding her and squatting in the corner.

Daniel protected Olivia with his tall body, saying, “Honey, don’t be scared, I’m here!”

Olivia’s eyes were filled with fear. On instinct, she hugged Daniel tightly.

About a minute later, the violent shaking stopped. However, the exit was blocked by the fallen ceiling.

Daniel was also holding Olivia tightly, comforting her quietly, “Honey, you can’t move around, there will definitely be aftershocks. The corner where we are currently is safe, so we shouldn’t go out. We can wait patiently for rescue.”

Just as Daniel finished speaking, another violent shaking came. It was terrifying!

Just as Daniel said, the damaged house collapsed again.

A wall had fallen, blocking their way out again.

Thankfully, a few pillars were supporting it and the corner where Daniel and Olivia were squatting, was still safe.

“Honey, we will definitely be okay. We are still alive! The people outside will come to save us. Everyone will be helping each other, your team will definitely be fine.”

Olivia was scared. She was shaking uncontrollably.

Her eyes were filled with crystal-clear tears, her gaze filled with fear and panic.
