HERCULES METHOD IN MHA

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: The UA Entrance Exam

The day had finally arrived. After months of relentless training, meticulous preparation, and countless hours spent cleaning Takoba Beach, Izuku Midoriya stood at the gates of UA High School. The towering structure loomed before him, a symbol of everything he had worked for. Today was the UA Entrance Exam, and Izuku was ready to prove himself.

The courtyard outside UA was buzzing with activity. Hundreds of students from across the country had gathered, each one hoping to secure a spot in the prestigious hero course. Izuku scanned the crowd, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and nervousness. He recognized a few faces from the news—students with powerful quirks and impressive track records. But he also saw others like himself, their determination shining in their eyes.

As he made his way through the crowd, Izuku couldn't help but feel a surge of confidence. He had come a long way since the day his quirk first manifested. His Herculean Strength was stronger than ever, and his control over it had reached new heights. He was ready for whatever the exam threw at him.

The first part of the exam was the written test. Izuku sat in a large auditorium, surrounded by other applicants. The room was silent except for the scratching of pencils on paper and the occasional cough or shuffle of feet.

Izuku focused intently on the questions, his mind racing as he worked through each problem. The test covered a wide range of topics, from mathematics and science to hero ethics and current events. Thanks to his meticulous study habits and natural curiosity, Izuku felt confident in his answers. He finished with time to spare, double-checking his work before setting his pencil down.

After the written test, the applicants were ushered into another auditorium for the practical exam briefing. The room was filled with murmurs of anticipation as the lights dimmed and a screen at the front of the room lit up.

"Welcome, future heroes!" a booming voice announced. The screen displayed the image of Present Mic, UA's voice hero and one of the school's most popular teachers. "I'll be your guide for today's practical exam. Listen up, because this is where the real fun begins!"

Izuku leaned forward, his eyes glued to the screen. This was it—the moment he had been preparing for.

Present Mic explained the rules of the practical exam. The applicants would be divided into groups and sent to simulated urban environments. Their task was to defeat robotic enemies, each worth a different number of points:

One-Pointers: Small, agile robots.

Two-Pointers: Medium-sized robots with moderate firepower.

Three-Pointers: Large, heavily armored robots.

"But wait, there's more!" Present Mic added with a grin. "There's also a secret fourth type of robot—the Zero-Pointer! It's worth no points, but it's massive and destructive. If you see one, your best bet is to run!"

The room erupted into murmurs, but Izuku remained focused. He had a plan. He would use his Herculean Strength to take down as many robots as possible, focusing on the higher-point targets while avoiding unnecessary risks.

Izuku was assigned to Battle Center B. As he stepped off the bus and into the simulated city, he took a deep breath, steadying his nerves. The other applicants around him were already stretching and warming up, their quirks on full display. Izuku clenched his fists, feeling the familiar surge of power in his muscles. He was ready.

"Alright, everyone!" Present Mic's voice echoed through the speakers. "The exam begins in 10 seconds! Get ready to show us what you've got!"

Izuku crouched slightly, his eyes scanning the area for the first wave of robots. His heart pounded in his chest, but his mind was calm. He had trained for this. He had prepared for this. And he wasn't going to let anything stand in his way.

"START!" Present Mic's voice boomed.

Izuku shot forward like a bullet, his enhanced speed carrying him into the heart of the city. Within seconds, he spotted a group of One-Pointers. Without hesitation, he leapt into the air, his fist slamming into the nearest robot with enough force to shatter it into pieces. The impact sent a shockwave through the street, knocking over the other robots in the group.

"One point!" Izuku muttered, already moving on to the next target.

He moved through the city like a whirlwind, his strength and speed allowing him to take down robots with ease. A Two-Pointer appeared around a corner, its arm cannons charging. Izuku dodged the incoming fire, closing the distance in an instant. With a single punch, he destroyed the robot's core, earning two more points.

As the exam progressed, Izuku's point total continued to climb. But just as he was about to take down another Three-Pointer, the ground began to shake. A massive shadow loomed over the city as the Zero-Pointer emerged, its towering frame dwarfing the buildings around it.

The other applicants froze, their eyes wide with fear. "What the hell is that thing?!" someone shouted.

Izuku's instincts kicked in. He knew the Zero-Pointer was worth no points, but he also knew it posed a serious threat to the other applicants. Without hesitation, he sprinted toward the giant robot, his mind racing as he formulated a plan.

As the Zero-Pointer raised its massive fist to crush a nearby building, Izuku leapt into action. He channeled the full power of his Herculean Strength, his muscles bulging as he prepared for the strike. With a roar, he slammed his fist into the robot's leg, the impact shattering the metal and sending the Zero-Pointer crashing to the ground.

The ground shook as the robot fell, and the other applicants stared in awe. Izuku stood there, his chest heaving, his fist still clenched. He had done it. He had taken down the Zero-Pointer.

As the speakers announced the end of the exam, Izuku felt a surge of pride. He had given it his all, and he knew he had done well. But as he looked around at the other applicants, he couldn't help but wonder if it would be enough.

"Whatever happens," he whispered to himself, "I'm one step closer to becoming a hero."
