Chapter 619: Chapter 619: Study Plan and Arrangement for the Fourth Grade
If there was anyone who knew Dumbledore inside out, apart from Dumbledore himself, it was Grindelwald. If Grindelwald claimed to be second to none, no one would dare claim to be first.
The two had a good relationship back then.
They both had the best talent and the same dreams; they understood each other, and they even made a blood pact to never harm each other.
If it wasn't for the incident with Ariana, Dumbledore and Grindelwald might have really held hands and grown old together.
"He really is not someone who would give up easily."
When he said this, Grindelwald couldn't help but recall the young Dumbledore.
In the year of his graduation, Dumbledore's mother died in an accident caused by Ariana's Obscurus outburst. This accident forced Dumbledore to give up his plan to travel the world.
As a young man, Dumbledore didn't want his talent to be wasted in a small mountain village, but he had to give up his dreams and stay at home to look after his sister.
That is, until Grindelwald entered the picture.
Dumbledore was captivated by Grindelwald's ideas and talent. They were like-minded and connected, and soon they became close friends who could talk about anything.
They confided to each other their dreams and made plans to build a society ruled by wizards, where Muggles would be subject to their rule.
For this purpose, they planned to find the Deathly Hallows.
But then an accident happened...
Aberforth and Grindelwald fought, and then a scuffle broke out between the three of them. In the chaos, someone's spell hit Ariana.
Grindelwald fled the Godric Valley that night.
Since then, Dumbledore has returned to teach at Hogwarts, taking up the post of Transfiguration professor, and has never spoken of his former ambitions or dreams.
He seemed like a different person!
Suffering can indeed change a person, either for the better or for the worse. But as a talented wizard, he would never give up his pursuit of magic, no matter what.
Otherwise, there would be no Dumbledore that we know today.
"He may have really discovered something..."
Grindelwald mused behind the mirror, "The mysteries of magic are vast, and even if we spend our entire lives studying, we may only learn the bare bones of it."
Andy strongly agreed with this: "That's why I want to pursue immortality! Only with eternal life, it's possible to learn all the magic in the world."
Grindelwald: "…"
"Love..."
Grindelwald leaned back and said casually, "I don't know about this; that was the direction Dumbledore found later."
Oh…
Andy was a little disappointed.
But if you think about it, it's true. If Grindelwald understood love, that would be really ridiculous.
His whole character would collapse!
"Okay, then I won't bother you," Andy said.
After saying that, Andy was about to hang up the connection, but then Grindelwald suddenly brought his face closer and said, "Don't bother me for five months!"
Andy: "?"
Andy raised an eyebrow and quickly understood Grindelwald's intentions.
"Do you want to try?" Andy asked eagerly.
Magic transfiguration, combined with the fusion of mind and magic... If all went well, five months would just be the right amount of time.
"Yes!"
Grindelwald didn't conceal his intentions. "If I want to understand the mysteries of magic and the mind, I have to try it myself."
Andy grinned. "I'll be waiting for your good news! If it succeeds, remember to share your experiences with me. I want to reduce the risk before letting someone I know try magic transfiguration."
"Of course!" Grindelwald laughed in return.
"Then... I'll contact you in five months." With that, Andy ended his communication with Grindelwald.
After putting away the Two-Way mirror, Andy leaned back against the bed, suddenly feeling a subtle twinge in his belly.
No wonder Dumbledore was drawn to Grindelwald.
Just look at his classmates at Hogwarts!
Every time he spent time with them, Andy felt like an outsider because their perspectives were so different.
On the other hand, Grindelwald... Andy can talk to him about his views on magic, and he is always willing to give Andy advice.
Although their ages are very different, they still have a lot in common.
Take the Protego Diabolica, for example.
When Andy asked, Grindelwald explained it to him.
There was no nonsense at all.
The only pity is, Grindelwald is constantly trying to change the status quo of the wizarding world.
He's not sure if Grindelwald really cares about the wizarding community or if he's obsessed and unwilling to accept his failure.
But it doesn't matter.
If they can communicate about magic, it's enough.
If there's a conflict, then he can just deal with it!
In contrast, Voldemort is really disappointing.
There's no way to communicate with someone like him.
After splitting his soul many times and indulging in forbidden dark magic, Voldemort's soul and mind have long been corrupted by dark magic.
Pressing his temple, Andy let out a silent sigh.
Dumbledore was truly mysterious. If he wanted to understand his secrets, he would probably have to start with the Restricted Book Section.
'Next academic year…'
'First, I should increase the [Constitution] attribute to seven and directly push the magic transfiguration ability to the human limit. Apart from normal studies, I should also learn about Alchemy.'
'As for the mystery of love...for now, I can only look for information in the Restricted Book Section.'
'If all else fails, I'll go to the Department of Mysteries again!'
The Department of Mysteries is a must-visit!
Over the past month, Andy has finished reading the materials copied from the Department of Mysteries office.
To be honest, they are not very helpful.
After all, they are office materials, and apart from some content related to magic, most of them are useless.
Even the content related to magic is not particularly in-depth.
But it makes sense.
How could the real secrets of the Department of Mysteries be so easily found by Andy? Hundreds of years of research data would definitely not fit in a small office.
Andy even suspected that the office might simply be designed to fool the Ministry of Magic.
'There must be a hidden room!'
'Could it be inside the office?'
Andy analysed in his mind.
As for the locked room... Andy thought about it for a while and decided that it was better not to take any rash actions.
Andy was curious, but he didn't want to die just yet.
Think about it: the Department of Mysteries only used a curtain to hide the archway that connected to the Death Dimension.
But the room that stored love was locked up tight.
By comparing the two, you can see how seriously the Department of Mysteries regards it.
'Perhaps...'
Andy's eyes twinkled, 'Perhaps I can use this locked room to lure the people of the Department of Mysteries out!'
"Hoo..."
Exhaling lightly, Andy had roughly made a study plan for the fourth year.
General spells, dark magic, transfiguration, divination, alchemy...studying all aspects of these subjects would allow Andy to quickly accumulate Potential Points.
In addition to this, there was the study of 'love'.
This is a long-term plan, and the first thing Andy has to do is find a research direction.
Once his [Constitution] attribute builds up, Andy can use the mirror he got from Azkaban to explore the death dimension.
With results, he can explore the Department of Mysteries again.
As for Voldemort...
Well...let's just smack him down!
