Hogwarts: The Unscientific Wizard (TL)

Chapter 623: Chapter 623: Bad News in the Crystal Ball

Outside the campsite, the atmosphere was very lively.

There were so many people!

The spectators who insisted on watching the game under hostile conditions such as the 'resurrection of Voldemort' were basically die-hard Quidditch fans.

Encountering Voldemort's attack might be fatal.

But not watching the game... would surely make them feel regret for the rest of their life.

So they are determined to watch the game!

The two teams that have reached the final are Ireland and Bulgaria. The fans are wearing the uniforms of the two teams, holding signs in their hands to support their teams, and chanting joyfully as they walk through the crowd.

There are also some stalls in the tented area, and Isabel can't take her eyes off a stall selling snacks.

The little missy held onto Andy's hand tightly, her big eyes filled with tears as she looked at him pitifully.

"Andy, I want some!"

Andy: "…"

Andy was about to tease the little lass when he heard Isabel say with a determined look as if she was prepared to die, "If you don't buy them for me, I'll just lie on the ground and roll around."

Andy: "…"

"Isabel, you're going to school soon," Andy sighed.

Isabel still looked pitifully at Andy.

"Hey!"

What could Andy do when he met such a little rascal?

After buying Isabel some snacks, Andy and the girls wandered around the tent area.

The crowd seemed crazy, and the atmosphere was lively, but Andy wasn't interested in Quidditch. Instead of feeling a sense of participation, he found it exceptionally noisy.

The little brat was a bundle of energy. She hadn't been out anywhere for a long time, and everything was novel to her.

Hermione was also fitting in well. She was curious about everything in the wizarding world.

The three of them walked aimlessly. It seemed that she had noticed that Andy was a bit unenthusiastic, so Hermione asked, "Andy, after your mind and magic have merged, have you experienced any physical discomfort?"

Andy had already told Hermione about his situation during their previous correspondence, and Hermione had also offered some suggestions.

"No... I'm adapting well so far."

Andy said softly, leaning slightly to the side. "But I can't materialise the Obscurus right now, and there's no solution either."

Hermione raised an eyebrow. "That's a good thing, isn't it? The Obscurus is only materialised when the Obscurial experiences a mental breakdown."

"That's true, but it's still a bummer, isn't it?" Andy shrugged.

"Hey – Andy!"

In the midst of their conversation, Andy suddenly heard someone calling his name.

He turned around and saw Fred and George standing in the clearing not far away, waving at him as hard as they could.

The two of them pushed their way through the crowd and quickly came up to Andy, panting. "Andy, I heard from Ron that you're planning to use divination to predict the outcome of the match...is that true?"

"Erm..."

Andy sighed. "You guys are really invested in this kind of thing."

"We might have a chance to get rich," George winked.

"Do you know Ludo Bagman?" Fred asked.

"He is the Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports and the organiser of this World Cup final," George answered the question.

"He has started a private betting pool," Fred briefly explained the situation.

"We are going to bet all our pocket money!" George decisively announced their decision.

Andy: "..."

Hermione: "..."

Isabel dug into her pocket and pulled out her pitiful three silver Sickles. She asked enthusiastically, "Are you sure?"

"Of course! Because we have Andy."

"He is the greatest wizard of the next century."

"And the successor of Dumbledore!"

"The nemesis of You-Know-Who..."

"The most talented wizard of this century..."

"And most importantly, he's a brilliant Seer."

"His predictions have never been wrong!"

George and Fred were so full of praise for Andy that they almost made him blush.

Hermione said with a straight face, "You two are exaggerating."

"Be modest!"

Andy said reproachfully. "Although what you're saying is true, there's no need to say it out loud; just keep it in your heart."

Fred and George looked at each other: We got it!

While boasting about Andy's greatness, the two of them put their arms around Andy's shoulders from the left and right, pushing Andy towards the tent.

"Let's not make a scene!"

Andy broke free from the two of them and said, "Let's go back first and talk about it."

Andy had also had enough of walking around, so he decided to go back and try his luck with the divination. What if he really struck it rich?

As the five of them walked back to the tent, Fred couldn't wait to ask, "Andy, did you bring the prophecy orb?"

"Of course!"

Andy picked up his wand and flicked it in his pocket, and a crystal ball flew out.

"Andy, are you really going to use divination to predict the outcome of the match?" Hermione's face showed mixed emotions. She felt that Andy had insulted the word 'magic'.

"Mm-hm!"

Andy shrugged and asked, "Hermione, do you want to place a bet?"

"I'm not doing that! Isa, let's go!" Hermione looked as if she were ashamed to be seen with them and dragged Isabel away.

"Hermione, I want to place a bet." The little girl's feet seemed to be nailed to the ground and wouldn't budge.

This was a good opportunity to earn some pocket money.

Hermione: "…"

"Right..."

Andy suddenly thought of something and asked, "What kind of person is Bagman? Does he have a lot of money?"

You can't organise a huge gamble like this without having some money.

"We've done our research, and there's absolutely no problem," George assured him.

Andy thought George meant that Bagman was rich, but then Fred added, "He definitely won't try to cheat you."

Andy: "…"

OK!

After placing the crystal ball, Andy gestured for everyone to move back a little, then solemnly placed his hands on either side of the ball.

[I want to know the result of the World Cup final]

As the magic surged, a white mist appeared inside the crystal ball, and fragments of images flashed through the mist.

The scene showed a low sky, a panicking crowd, magical beams of light shining everywhere, and the Dark Mark hovering in midair.

When the prediction ended, everyone's faces were grim.

Something had gone wrong in the match!

Andy was also a little surprised.

When he had talked to Hermione earlier, Andy had believed her analysis that Voldemort would not attack the World Cup site—he didn't want to fight Andy now.

But the prediction told Andy that Voldemort had indeed carried out the attack.

And...

Andy recalled the flashes of images in the crystal ball.

Although he didn't know the final outcome, the attack had undoubtedly had the desired effect.

And the most embarrassing thing was... Andy believed he couldn't stop the prediction from happening!

In other words, Andy had to let the flashes of images in the crystal ball happen in reality; otherwise, the consequences would be unpredictable.

"What the hell is going on?" Andy frowned.
