Hogwarts: The Unscientific Wizard (TL)

Chapter 630: Chapter 630: Can I make the Death Eaters run away?

Don't get angry; don't get angry.

It's not the right time to lose your temper!

Hermione took a deep breath and forced down the anger rising inside her. She looked at the person next to her... Well, she really did want to hit him.

"They're here!" The young witch reminded him with a stern face.

This is not the time to get worked up.

"Hm!" Andy nodded slightly, then waved his wand to summon the Fat Cat Patronus.

"What's going on?"

"Andy, did the Dark Lord's men attack?"

Just then, Mr. Weasley, Sirius, and Lupin rushed out as well.

"I think so!"

Andy said, raising an eyebrow as he looked at the chaos in the distance. "I'll go check it out over there. You guys…"

The situation was unclear, and Andy didn't know what arrangements the others had made.

In fact, as members of the Order of the Phoenix and Harry's acquaintances, they had already filed their names on Voldemort's death list.

If Voldemort really had a plot, they would be the first to bear the brunt.

"Sirius, you go with Andy."

Mr. Weasley quickly arranged, "Remus, you stay here and watch Harry and the others, and wait until the situation becomes clearer before making any moves. I'll go and ask the Ministry for some information."

"Okay!" Andy and Sirius glanced at each other and then ran together towards the chaotic scene.

"Huh?"

While running, Andy suddenly froze. "Sirius, the Anti-Apparition Charm has stopped working."

Sirius paused upon hearing this and then directly cast the Apparition Spell.

Andy followed closely behind.

***

At the edge of the tent area, a dozen Death Eaters wearing black cloaks and masks on their faces were recklessly casting spells in all directions.

The crowd looked desperate, panicking, screaming, and running around in a disoriented manner.

Not a single person bothered to take out their wands and fight back.

The Death Eaters waved their wands and cast spells while laughing maniacally.

Their laughter carried an indescribable sense of mockery.

This was the scene Andy found upon arrival.

But this was nothing unusual.

Because this was the current norm for ordinary wizards.

It's just like any other recent graduate—how many people have returned their knowledge to the teacher's hands after graduation?

The wizarding world has been at peace for many years, and many wizards have never experienced a fight in their lives. Even if they do fight, they only deal with wild magical creatures.

For example, the gnomes in the attic.

After graduation, they mostly use life spells, and the combat spells have long been pushed to the back of their minds.

In addition, untrained people will instinctively become nervous when faced with a crisis, and their bodies will become stiff and uncooperative.

Except for a few exceptions, most people will find it difficult to think of anything due to anxiety and adrenaline when they are in a fight for the first time. Some people will even be frozen like a block of ice.

"Tsk!"

Andy rolled his eyes and quickly glanced around.

One, two, three... there are sixteen of them in total!

With such a small group of people, all they can do is make a bit of a racket.

'What on earth was Voldemort thinking?' Andy thought to himself.

Looking at the chaos around him, Andy did not rush to intervene.

Compared to dealing with these people, figuring out Voldemort's intentions was the priority.

Andy noticed that these Death Eaters were not trying to kill anyone. They were deliberately creating chaos rather than killing.

And creating chaos meant that they wanted to attract the attention of someone so that they could achieve their real goal.

If they don't kill, then the Aurors on the side of justice will naturally not kill them.

'Sure enough, there is another purpose!' Andy thought to himself.

"Collins!!"

"Collins is here!"

Just as Andy was pondering, a Death Eater suddenly noticed Andy's figure and quickly shouted around.

'Here!' Andy's heart sank, and he was ready to make his move.

But the next moment...

Pop! Pop! Pop!

All the Death Eaters moved in a surprisingly coordinated manner—they glanced at Andy, then quickly vanished.

"They ran away?" Andy was a little dazed.

What's going on?

Andy didn't understand, and he was shocked.

My reputation has reached the point where Death Eaters will flee at the mere sight of me?

It's actually quite easy to guess what the Death Eaters were thinking.

As long as they don't kill, then the Aurors won't kill them.

Because a living Death Eater is more valuable than a dead one.

But Andy is different.

In the battle at the Ministry of Magic, Andy's every move was aimed at killing, with the Killing Curse and Fiendfyre Curse.

How would those Death Eaters dare to fight Andy head-on?

They were just small fries who were sent to create chaos!

Poor, weak, and helpless.

"Andy!"

Just then, Sirius ran over from afar.

"You..."

Andy's brows furrowed slightly. After Sirius walked in, he asked curiously, "Where were you just now?"

To be fair, in the face of such a scene as 'Death Eaters causing chaos', Andy could refrain from intervening, but given Sirius's fiery temperament, how could he possibly stand back and do nothing?

That's not his character!

Nor is it the nature of a Gryffindor!

Andy had deliberately waited for Sirius to use the Apparition first, and then he used the Apparition to move a little further away from Sirius to test his reaction.

"Something's wrong!"

Sirius said gravely. "The Death Eaters are causing chaos, but the Aurors aren't here. According to the Ministry's plan, the Aurors should have arrived at the scene immediately."

"Andy, I'm afraid that something has happened to the Aurors!"

Andy's face relaxed slightly at this news.

This explanation made sense.

Sirius continued, "And...the Anti-Apparition charm has failed, which means that someone within the Ministry is cooperating with them."

"A traitor?" Andy raised an eyebrow.

Sirius nodded gravely.

Everything up to this point had been so inexplicable, like a farce, a comedy played out by the most ridiculous of clowns.

Andy looked around.

It was true, the Aurors had not shown up, and something was definitely not right.

Unless...

Before the two could continue their discussion, a huge fire suddenly broke out on the other side of the tent area, and someone released the Dark Mark into the night sky.

"Again?"

Andy muttered impatiently and then instantly vanished.

However, when Andy arrived, there was nothing but burning wreckage and fleeing crowds.

Not even a single Death Eater was in sight.

Andy: "…"

Sirius followed closely behind, "Where are they? What the hell are these people doing?"

The Death Eaters were causing chaos, the Aurors were nowhere to be seen, there was a suspected traitor in the Ministry of Magic, and even Dumbledore had disappeared.

"Maybe..."

Andy mused for a moment, speculating, "Maybe the Ministry of Magic was also attacked, or somewhere else... Dumbledore and the Aurors have gone to support them."

"As for our side..."

Andy's face suddenly changed, and he whispered, "We need to go back!"
