Chapter 10: CH 10

You are dead…]

[Simulation ends.]

[Simulation evaluation: In the life of a useless tool, you never had a bright moment.

You were misunderstood and rejected by others, but you lacked the temper to fight back.

You sought to make friends, but you had none.]

Naruto stared at the evaluation screen in silence.

"Nine-Tails?" Naruto muttered as his expression stiffened.

Could the Nine-Tails have sensed his thoughts earlier that day?

That shouldn't be possible. It wasn't like the Nine-Tails could read his mind, right?

But thinking of the sealing techniques he had recently gained, Naruto felt confident.

He walked towards the depths of his mind, heading for the sewer-like space where the Nine-Tails resided.

Eventually, Naruto reached a massive iron gate.

The gate was sealed with a powerful Eight Trigrams Seal, and the interior beyond was shrouded in pitch darkness.

"Kid~ come closer."

The voice of Kurama, the Nine-Tails, echoed from behind the gate.

The voice carried an illusory, almost hypnotic chakra that made Naruto subconsciously take a step forward.

But Naruto quickly caught himself.

A sly smile spread across his face as he said confidently,

"Drop the act, Kurama. I know exactly who you are."

The voice inside the gate paused.

For a moment, there was silence.

Then, the black mist beyond the gate cleared, revealing the giant and terrifying form of the Nine-Tails.

Kurama lay sprawled on the ground, his massive red eyes glaring at Naruto.

"How do you know my name?" Kurama growled, his voice low and dangerous.

Naruto smirked.

"Because…" he said, "everyone calls me a monster. How could I not know about the one inside me?"

Kurama's lips curled into a sneer.

"I wasn't asking about your pathetic nickname. I'm asking how you know my real name."

Naruto, recalling the system's mission, decided to bluff.

"It's because…" Naruto began dramatically, "an old man entrusted me with a dream."

Kurama's eyes narrowed, his curiosity piqued.

"What old man?"

Naruto described the Sage of Six Paths with perfect detail:

"An old man with three eyes, a long beard, a black staff, and strange horns on either side of his head."

Inside the iron gate, Kurama's massive eyes widened slightly in recognition.

"The Sage of Six Paths?"

Kurama's mind raced. Could it be that the chakra of the Sage of Six Paths was still lingering in the world?

But why would he entrust anything to this brat?

Although Kurama's suspicions grew, his hatred for humans was deeply ingrained.

With a growl, Kurama raised one of his massive paws and slammed it against the iron gate.

Boom!

The gate shook violently, the sound echoing in the cavernous space.

Naruto instinctively stepped back, startled by the impact.

"Can you not be so dramatic?" Naruto said with a frown.

Kurama grinned maliciously.

"Haha… little pest," he mocked.

Kurama was clearly unimpressed by Naruto. After all, if not for the seal, Kurama would have already taken over his body.

Naruto scowled.

"Fine. Let's see how you handle this!"

Closing his eyes, Naruto recalled the sealing techniques he had received from the system.

He began forming hand seals, his movements clumsy but determined.

Kurama's laughter boomed from behind the gate.

"You brat, are you actually trying to fight me?"

The Nine-Tails scoffed.

"A child with barely any chakra and no skill? You think you can challenge me?"

But when Naruto finished his seals, a golden chain materialized in front of him.

Kurama's eyes narrowed as he watched the glowing chain float before Naruto.

"What is that…?"

The massive fox rose slightly, his fur bristling.

"That's the Adamantine Sealing Chains of the Uzumaki Clan!" Kurama exclaimed.

But then, Kurama noticed something strange.

No! These weren't ordinary Adamantine Sealing Chains.

Normally, the chains had to extend directly from the user's back, requiring immense chakra to sustain.

But these chains floated independently, untethered to Naruto's body.

Kurama's wariness grew.

Naruto, on the other hand, was thrilled.

"This thing is incredible!" Naruto thought, feeling the overwhelming sealing power radiating from the chains.

The modifications to the Adamantine Sealing Chains had clearly improved their design.

Naruto directed the chains towards the gate, aiming them at Kurama.

Kurama's anger flared.

"Don't underestimate me, brat!" the Nine-Tails roared, his voice shaking the space.

As the Adamantine Sealing Chains crossed the gate and flew towards him, Kurama swiped at them with his massive paw.

Crack!

The chains shattered instantly.

Naruto frowned.

"Too weak," he muttered to himself.

But he knew the problem wasn't the technique itself—it was him.

Naruto's chakra reserves were still immature, and his control over the Adamantine Sealing Chains was far from perfect.

Despite the failure, Naruto didn't feel discouraged.

In time, he was confident he could master the sealing techniques and easily restrain Kurama.

For now, he decided to try a different technique.

Naruto formed another set of hand seals.

This time, he aimed to use the Eight Trigrams Seal, a technique designed for sealing immense chakra like Kurama's.

Kurama narrowed his eyes as he watched Naruto's movements.

"You're trying something else?" the Nine-Tails sneered.

"Let's see if this one's as pathetic as the last!"

Naruto ignored Kurama's taunts, focusing intently on completing the seals.

As the technique took shape, a powerful sealing aura began to spread through the air…
