In the underground laboratory, the concentration of Honkai Energy in the air had reached alarming levels.

Einstein and Tesla had evacuated, leaving behind several remote-controlled robots to continue their work from afar.

Currently present at this location were Kiana, Sin, Bronya, and Hera.

The first three possessed extraordinary constitutions, remaining behind as combat units to keep Hera occupied.

As for Hera, her Soulium body combined with her Kaslana-Schariac bloodline meant that what would be a devastating concentration of Honkai Energy for most was merely a drizzle to her.

"This already exceeds my own experience. Zeke, just how far do you intend to go?" Hera stroked the metallic walls of the chamber, a profound smile playing on her lips.

Standing nearby, Kiana shot her a sidelong glance. If not for Zeke permitting Hera to stay—also because she assisted with the experiment—Kiana would have kicked her without hesitation.

Despite appearing frail, under the enhancement of the black armor, one kick should send her flying quite far, right?

Hera then turned toward Kiana. "Hey there! Long time no see. Come to think of it, we haven't properly greeted each other yet, Kiana."

"I don't care if you knew my smelly dad or...or Aunt Cecilia, or had any involvement with those experiments. In any case, I'm not that Kiana Kaslana. Don't waste your emotions on me, and stop trying to deceive me!" Kiana retorted firmly, hands on her hips, exuding confidence and determination.

Hands on her hips, Kiana responded confidently and assertively.

A flicker crossed Hera's eyes.

Has she already discovered the truth? No, it seems only part of it.

Would this affect her experiments?

Not really.

The Herrscher of the Void remained dormant within K-423, while the emotional bonds stabilizing her humanity continued to strengthen smoothly.

In fact, given that K-423 could calmly accept being a clone, her character and willpower must have grown stronger. This should be advantageous for overcoming the Herrscher Aspect and achieving Otto's plan.

Bronya and Sin exchanged glances discreetly, both harboring similar suspicions.

Kiana had never mentioned any of this to them before—it was unclear whether she simply forgot or if she still couldn't quite open up completely.

However, they weren't overly concerned. To them, Kiana was just a bit of a ditz; there wasn't much more to read into it.

Meanwhile, Hera turned her attention to Sin.

"You must be Sin Mal, then. Zeke told me you possess unique eyes?"

"Beat it!"

In response to Hera's cheerful inquiry, Sin delivered her elegant and courteous retort.

Kiana's aversion towards Hera stemmed more from instinctual intuition. On the other hand, Sin despised any vixen daring to approach Zeke or Bronya.

Hera, being both visibly familiar with Zeke and strikingly beautiful, had long been earmarked by Sin for assassination plans—carefully devised to leave no trace that might upset Zeke.

"Heh!"

Sin lowered her head, concealing her menacing shark-toothed grin. To note, she typically smiled without exposing those serrated teeth, ensuring that Zeke and Bronya only perceived her as charming and sweet.

The shark-like smile was reserved exclusively for enemies—like Hera, Kia, and Seele, the cunning little fox who, despite her outwardly innocent tears, hid depths far beyond appearances.

Scratching her face, Hera sensed something peculiar about Sin's bowed posture but ultimately grasped that the girl simply disliked her. Yet again, Miss Hera's attempt at conversation failed.

So, she shifted her focus anew.

"Uh, you must be Brony..."

"Bronya's mouth is sealed with transparent tape; I can't speak."

As if anyone would believe that! What exactly are you doing right now?!

Clearly, you just don't want to talk to me!

Hera covered her face, resigning herself to waiting and focusing on her experiments.

"I never expected this meticulously crafted beauty to not only fail capturing Zeke's intriguing reactions but also struggle to handle even a few young girls. Tsk!" Hera muttered, seemingly carrying a hint of frustration.

As dusk fell, Jackal and Gray Serpent arrived near Anti-Entropy's temporary garrison.

To be precise, it was thousands upon thousands of gray snakes along with numerous hibernation pods containing experimental subjects, each on the brink of transforming into Honkai Beasts. Transporting these items had taken up most of their day.

"So, your beloved little crow is at that camp?"

"Mm-hmm. For some unknown reason, part of the personnel evacuated from their true headquarters to this location. My reconnaissance clone observed both vessels carrying the Gem of Desire and the Gem of Conquest there. And just so you know, I don't 'love' Cioara; she simply possesses exceptional talent and intelligence, making her a rare individual capable of harnessing the Key of Lightning."

Standing atop a lofty peak, Gray Serpent conversed with Jackal.

Upon hearing this, Jackal rolled his eyes beneath his mask. "What about the defensive forces?"

"We haven't had enough time for thorough assessment yet. So far, only a sizable Titan force has been detected. Overall, it shouldn't pose significant issues. However, what matters most is that we've already been discovered."

"BOOM!!"

The mountain peak abruptly exploded as a powerful blast carrying Honkai Energy shaved off dozens of meters from its summit with just one strike.

"Roar~~"

Amidst the smoke and explosions, massive silhouettes emerged faintly. With relentless roars, they crushed nearly half of the hundred-meter-high mountainside effortlessly.

Then, countless giant Honkai Beasts, each resembling small hills, descended with overwhelming pressure.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Below the slopes, the snow-covered ground trembled as numerous Titan robots approached swiftly, their thruster trails blazing behind them amidst heavy footfalls.

The machinery assembled at the base of the mountain, transforming their shoulder sections to reveal rows of enormous energy cannons.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Projectiles fired from the Titans' shoulders streaked across like meteors falling upon Earth.

"Rumble!!!"

In the next moment, flames and deafening explosions engulfed the entire mountain range.

The war had begun!

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The Titan force's firepower resembled unceasing heavenly fire, relentlessly whittling down the numbers of the Honkai Beast horde without pause.

"Roar~~"

Despite this onslaught, countless Honkai Beasts continued to emerge from behind the mountain range and all around, merging into the swarming horde.

The beast population, like a rolling snowball, showed no signs of diminishing under the barrage; instead, it only grew larger with each passing moment.

Worse still, numerous identical figures clad in black attire and masks swiftly infiltrated the Titan formation, moving even faster than the beasts.

Taking advantage of the Titans' immobilized bombardment stance, the Gray Serpent's clones raised their dual pistols simultaneously.

Firing relentless bursts of Honkai Energy bullets from the modified Colt Defender handguns, they precisely targeted and destroyed the energy cores of the Titan mechs.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Amidst the gunfire, the colossal Titans progressively shut down, transforming into useless steel sculptures standing frozen amidst the snow.

Swiftly, the Gray Serpents neutralized the initial wave of fifteen hundred Titans. Then, dispersing to clear a path, they allowed the uncontrollable surge of Honkai Beasts to roar through, utterly crushing these metallic remnants.

Just as the Gray Serpents collectively breathed a sigh of relief, they suddenly turned their gaze skyward.

"Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!"

The swarm of bees now truly resembled ordinary insects, emitting a deliberately menacing hum as they densely filled the sky within sight.

"Whizz! Whizz! Whizz!"
