How Kurama Leads Naruto Astray

"This place is..." Kazayahana Koyuki's face showed a slight confusion. She remembered this place. When her father was still alive, he had brought her here. This seemed to be the location of the 'treasure.' 

Naruto hid behind a huge white stone pillar, breathing heavily, looking at Kazayahana Koyuki. "be careful. I don't know why they stopped attacking, but they've surrounded us. We need to figure out a way to escape." 

Kazayahana Koyuki snapped back to reality from her memories and nodded lightly, looking at Naruto. "I understand." 

About two minutes ago, they had been forced to this place. Kazayahana Doto had directly cut them off here, and Naruto had no choice but to find a place to hide first. 

The Snow Ninjas strangely surrounded them but didn't attack directly. 

Naruto understood. This must be their destination. Kazayahana Doto's goal was to drive them here.

Kazayahana Koyuki looked around at the surroundings. Although everything was still covered in snow, she could see six towering stone pillars and a strange platform in the center.

"Just as I thought, this is the place," Kazayahana Koyuki stood up, her face showing a trace of sadness. 

Naruto turned around and looked at her. "Stop being cryptic. Can you just explain it clearly?" 

This made Kazayahana Koyuki pause, and her sad heart eased slightly. She then showed a faint smile, nodding as she softly explained, "This is the place my father once brought me to. I thought it was some kind of altar, but now it seems it's related to the treasure from the Land of Snow that Kazayahana Doto mentioned." 

"Not surprising, I guess," Naruto sighed. 

When Kurama had said it before, Naruto had already guessed, but now it was more certain. 

He looked at Kazayahana Koyuki, his face full of questions. "So what should we do now? Open the treasure, or look for a chance to leave?" 

Kazayahana Koyuki fell silent. She didn't know. 

She wanted to open the treasure, at least to find out what the so-called treasure really was, and why Kazayahana Doto was so determined to get it, even at the cost of her father's life. But at this moment, she actually just wanted Naruto to leave safely.

Just as she had said earlier, in her eyes, Naruto was more important than any treasure she had never seen before.

With this in mind, Kazahana Koyuki took a deep breath, her gaze lingering on the platform in the center, then she shook her head and said to Naruto, "We should look for a chance to leave. As long as Kazahana Doto is still here, even if we open the treasure, we won't be able to keep it."

"I appreciate your thinking," Naruto said with a grin, "but I still need to remind you, if we find a chance to leave, coming back might not be something that happens quickly."

Neither he nor Sasuke could break through the entire Land of Snow dungeon. Even if they had the ability, it wasn't something they could do right now.

He looked down on Kazahana Doto, but he had to admit that Kazahana Doto wasn't weak. At least for now, neither Sasuke nor Naruto had the power to defeat him.

Kazahana Koyuki shrugged indifferently, "It's fine. As long as we're still alive, we'll always have another chance."

"Good point!" Naruto nodded in agreement. "But you know, I'm the type of person who likes to settle scores right away, so I want to ask you, if you really don't care about the Land of Snow treasure, can I just blow it up?"

He thought of it as a way to get revenge on Kazahana Doto, who had been chasing him for so long.

Just imagining how that guy, who had risked his reputation to get the treasure, would be blown up by him made Naruto feel happy.

Kazahana Koyuki had a strange look on her face, a mix of helplessness and some inexplicable feeling, but in the end, she didn't agree, 

"I... want to protect the Land of Snow. I want to protect the land that my father loved, so Naruto, let's forget about blowing up the treasure."

"That's a shame," Naruto said with a hint of regret.

At that moment, a flash of light suddenly appeared in Naruto's eyes. He looked toward the direction they had come from, his face showing surprise. "Perverted Sage and Sasuke's chakra! They're here to save us!"

Their speed was incredible. As expected of the Perverted Sage, he could maintain such speed even in the snow!

Naruto soared through the air, landing with both feet on a stone pillar, kneeling sideways in the center of the pillar with Kazahana Koyuki in his arms, his face full of anger. "No honor in battle!"

Kazahana Doto flew in the air, parallel to Naruto. "Xiaoyuki, don't you want to see what kind of treasure your father left behind?"

"No," Kazahana Koyuki replied without hesitation, shaking her head as she clung to Naruto.

Kazahana Doto's tone faltered. He took a deep breath and then, with a cold gaze, looked at Naruto. "Konohagakure brat, if you help me open the treasure, I can give you this power. Together, we can rule the world."

Watching Kazahana Doto proudly raise his hands, Naruto scoffed and mocked, "You're still half asleep, huh?"

Honestly, even Kurama said that not even he had the power to rule the world. What right does this guy have? Is it because of that fast-moving train or the flying ship? Come on, he really thinks the five great nations are pushovers?

"Ungrateful fool!" Kazahana Doto was furious. "If I weren't worried about damaging the six-sided crystal on you, do you really think I would let you go so easily?"

The material of the six-sided crystal isn't as tough as the one left by the First Hokage, and even a little stronger force could destroy it completely.

Kazahana Doto was being cautious in his conversation with them only to ensure he could safely take the crystal. Otherwise, he would've attacked long ago, instead of wasting time talking.

Naruto knew this, but he didn't care at this point. "Kazahana Doto, you're done for, listen up. Sasuke and the perverted sage are already on their way. If you don't run now, when they get here, you'll definitely regret it!"

Kurama looked confused. "Should I bite a lighter and show you?"
