How Kurama Leads Naruto Astray

Chapter 197: Chapter 197: Urashiki – "As Long As You Help Me Break the Seal, Whatever You Say is Right"

Sasuke's Mangekyou Sharingan was directly awakened by the Sage of Six Paths. After granting Sasuke the power of the Six Paths Yin, his eyes evolved from Three Tomoe to Mangekyou under the influence of that power.

At the time, Sasuke was shocked, but he quickly accepted it. After all, he had already seen Itachi's memories, so he knew about the existence of the Mangekyou Sharingan. The abilities in his eyes were the same as in the original timeline—Amaterasu and Kagutsuchi.

But in the end, it didn't really matter. Sasuke's Mangekyou had straight tomoe, mainly enhancing his Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and chakra control. The boost to his ocular powers was actually secondary.

However, his eyes were in an awkward state. While his Mangekyou was indeed stronger than a regular one, which greatly boosted his power in a short time, it was still far from the Rinnegan that Kurama had mentioned. During that period, even Naruto, without Kurama's help, often lost to Sasuke.

The problem was, although Sasuke's Mangekyou was powerful, it was still not close to the Rinnegan. To evolve his Mangekyou into a Rinnegan, he first needed to obtain the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

It was like a strange curse—one that even the Sage of Six Paths couldn't solve. The Uchiha's ocular powers were incomplete; their eyes had a flaw that could only be fixed by transplanting another close blood relative's eyes.

Sasuke walked in silence, lost in thoughts about the future. The impact of meeting his future self was overwhelming.

It wasn't just about Sakura and Sarada—it was also about Itachi.

Tch, just thinking about Itachi made Sasuke clench his fists.

In the icy space of Kaguya's dimension, Urashiki stood with an unpleasant expression inside the ruins left behind by Kaguya. This was one of the secret places she had hidden during her life, well concealed in the snowy realm. But judging by the scene, someone had already been here to investigate.

Who else could enter and leave Kaguya's dimension freely, besides that damn Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke?

Surely not that lazy, oversized fox demon who wouldn't even roll over without help?

"Tch."

Just thinking about that monster fox pissed Urashiki off. That damned Kaguya not only failed to keep the Ten-Tails intact, but she even let her descendants split its chakra apart, forcing them to go around collecting it piece by piece.

If it weren't for Kaguya's stupidity, Momoshiki and Kinshiki wouldn't have died!

As Urashiki continued cursing Kaguya in his mind, a powerful chakra suddenly surged behind him, like a massive beast looming over his back.

But… Urashiki didn't look surprised at all. Instead, he let out a cold chuckle and spoke without even turning his head.

"When did you start sneaking up on people like this?"

With that, he smirked and slowly turned around.

"Isshiki?"

Standing behind him was a strange-looking man in a white robe. His face was cold and expressionless. The sides of his head were completely shaved, leaving only a long ponytail in the middle. This was Isshiki—also known as Jigen.

"What took you so long? Are you the only one here?"

Isshiki ignored Urashiki's sarcasm and calmly observed his surroundings.

"This place was left behind by that woman Kaguya. Without you leading the way, I wouldn't have found it."

"Hmph." Urashiki scoffed.

"Momoshiki is dead."

Isshiki's eyes flickered slightly.

"Did the Karasuki remain?"

"It's on some brat who's a descendant of Kaguya," Urashiki said.

"Then he's not really dead," Isshiki stepped forward, standing at the center of the ruins. His cold eyes scanned the area. "But if that brat dies, then he's truly gone."

Urashiki's expression darkened. "You're really irritating."

"Same to you," Isshiki glanced at him.

The two of them were alike in some ways but also complete opposites. Urashiki acted carefree, but he was arrogant at heart. Isshiki, on the other hand, appeared cold and distant, yet his pride was even greater than Urashiki's.

But Urashiki still cared about his allies. He had shown mercy countless times to Boruto, the carrier of Momoshiki's 'Karma.' Isshiki, however, had no such concerns. If anyone stood in his way, even a fellow Otsutsuki or a Karma host, he wouldn't hesitate to eliminate them.

That was why they were similar yet completely different.

Isshiki suddenly frowned. "I can't sense Momoshiki or Kinshiki's presence. Where did they die?"

He didn't know everything about the ninja world, but when it came to the Otsutsuki clan, he was always informed. Yet Momoshiki and Kinshiki had died here without him knowing. It was hard for him to believe.

Could there be a power in this world that even he was unaware of?

"Hmph."

Urashiki rested his fishing rod on his shoulder and said coldly, "It was your 'plow.' I traveled back fifty years to get here, but now your 'plow' has been taken by an annoying guy. If you want it back, you'll have to get it yourself."

His tone was full of mockery.

"Of course, you are the legendary Otsutsuki Isshiki. Surely, killing a lowly species is still within your abilities."

He wasn't trying to provoke Isshiki. He was simply mocking him.

After all, being betrayed and nearly killed by his own protector—something like that had never happened in the history of the Otsutsuki clan.

Isshiki understood the sarcasm in Urashiki's words, but he didn't care. "So, you're the only one left?"

Urashiki frowned. "What are you trying to say?"

"Nothing." Isshiki turned and started walking out of the ruins. As he walked, he spoke again. "Your body was sealed. I've seen that power before—in Kaguya's son. And it just so happens that I can use it too."

Urashiki's expression turned serious.

Isshiki stopped at the entrance of the ruins and looked back at Urashiki. "But I can only undo half of it. The one who sealed you may not be powerful, but their understanding of sealing techniques is impressive. Even I can't completely undo it."

Over the years, Isshiki had closely observed the ninja world's growth. His understanding of techniques was on par with any ninja. However, sealing techniques were a bit tricky for the Otsutsuki, a race that relied more on raw power.

It wasn't that he didn't understand sealing—it was just that his mastery wasn't as strong as Naruto's in the future.

Urashiki couldn't help but laugh. "Ha! Did I just hear the legendary Isshiki say 'I can't'?" He smirked. "Oh my, is the sky about to fall?"

Isshiki simply extended his right hand. "Do you want it or not?"

"Of course." Urashiki grinned, looking as smug as ever. "Thanks a lot, Lord Isshiki."

"Hmph." Isshiki let out a dismissive snort. "Go ahead and throw this world into chaos, Urashiki."

"Sure, sure~" Urashiki chuckled, resting his fishing rod on his shoulder, smiling brightly.
