HP: Hogwart's Journey

Chapter 43: CHAPTER 43 - The Final Request?

No matter how sweet or bland the fruits of victory may be, after that day, the little wizards had their break! The next morning, their report cards were placed on their beds, and unsurprisingly, Robert had done quite well. The twins, after receiving the typical threat of Mrs. Weasley's broom, managed to get straight E's, which should hopefully ease the constant stream of complaints Percy had been making throughout the school year, preventing a potential bloodbath.

A notice banning underage wizards from using magic off-campus during the break was distributed to every student, and the twins seemed a bit dejected. They had been hoping to have some fun over the summer with their pranks.

It seemed like only a moment passed before everyone packed their belongings, happily leaving the common room, ready to board the boats and once again cross the Black Lake.

Just as Robert stepped out of the castle doors, a grey, fluffy ball suddenly jumped into his arms, startling him.

Upon closer inspection, Robert realized this thing looked familiar. "Pudding! I thought you'd run away from home!"

It was none other than Robert's own fluffy Puffskein, Pudding. The little creature bumped against Robert's chest before hopping down and bouncing toward the vegetable garden. Robert glanced at his pocket watch—there was still some time before the meeting, so he decided to follow and see what the little creature was up to.

"What the—?!" Robert nearly dropped his jaw at the sight of something small and pale yellow in the garden. "Pudding, you've got kids now?!"

To his surprise, Pudding nudged the little one, then nudged Robert before darting into the garden, disappearing from sight.

"Is this your last will and testament?" Robert couldn't help but laugh as he squatted down and carefully picked up the small, shivering creature.

What was going on here? Had Pudding, after running away, brought him some freeloading company?

"Huh?" As Robert was lost in thought, he noticed something odd about the little creature in his arms. A tail emerged from behind it.

"Hey, hey, hey?!?!!" Robert was stunned as he stared at the small, fluffy, yellow ball in his arms.

Sitting in the boat, holding the creature in his arms, Robert's serious expression made the twins and Lee Jordan hesitate to speak up.

"Family misfortune..." Robert sighed, looking at the tail protruding from the little creature's back. It was white and somewhat birdlike, and on closer inspection, it even had a slightly curved beak. However, it was so small that it was barely noticeable! This creature seemed more like a ball of fluff than a proper body.

Robert poked the little creature's soft body. It felt very much like Pudding.

"What should I name you?" Robert wondered aloud, feeling the combination of yellow and white reminded him of a particular food. "How about... Horse Hoof Layer Cake?"

The little creature, sensing deep malice, suddenly woke up and flapped its wings—hidden beneath its fluffy body.

"You have wings?!" Robert was shocked.

"Wait, wait—Puffskeins can actually fly?!" the twins exclaimed.

"Oh Merlin! What am I seeing? Wings? It wasn't a Puffskein... It's a bird?" Lee Jordan gawked in disbelief.

Robert's expression darkened. "Pudding!"

That damn runaway Puffskein had brought him back a fat bird!

But he couldn't tell what species it was, so he could only assume it was a bird that had overeaten.

After disembarking from the boat, they walked down a long path to Hogwarts Express, which was already waiting at the end. The new students seemed to be the first to arrive, and Robert and the others quickly boarded the train, finding an empty compartment.

As they sat down, Fred seemed confused. "Did we forget something important?"

George tilted his head, thinking, before suddenly shouting, "Oh! Merlin's beard! The Wolf Tooth Flying Saucer!"

Fred immediately recalled their original plan and exclaimed, "Oh no! How could we forget about that?!"

"Well, I think it was because we knocked Filch out..." George sighed. "As expected, it's all Filch's fault."

"Well, brother, now we need to think of a way to make up for it," Fred interrupted, turning to Lee Jordan and Robert. "Quick, quick, we need to think of something to get Percy..."

"Why am I being called?" A familiar voice came from outside the compartment, startling the four of them. They turned to see Percy, with dark circles under his eyes, standing in the doorway.

"The library didn't have the book I needed. I searched all night for nothing," Percy muttered before shutting the door and walking off.

The four of them exchanged glances.

Fred shrugged. "Well, seeing as he didn't sleep all night, I guess we can cut him some slack."

Then, they started chatting and soon forgot about Percy's problem.

The train sped through the countryside, and before long, they arrived at King's Cross Station. After changing clothes, they got off the train, and the Weasley parents were already there, waiting to greet them.

As Mrs. Weasley's business grew, she launched a new line of clothing, the "Everyday Casual Muggle Collection," specifically tailored for wizards who needed to live and travel in the Muggle world. The Weasley family, with their large numbers and friendly attitude toward Muggles, became the spokesperson for this series. This gave them more money to enjoy life, no longer struggling as they had before. At least Ginny was able to buy a new dress.

Recently, for some unknown reason, the Ministry of Magic had sent people to remind Mrs. Weasley to comply with the provisions of the Statute of Secrecy, threatening to shut down her shop if she didn't. Without hesitation, Mrs. Weasley had thrown them out and told them to read the laws they had created properly. She even posted the relevant regulations about dress code on the door: "Wizards should dress according to Muggle standards when interacting with them, and clothing should be appropriate for the time, place, and climate," to show that her selling these clothes was entirely legal.

This caused a bit of a stir, and soon the Prophet reported it. Before Cornelius Fudge even became Minister, he was involved in this debacle. The Ministry's Law Enforcement team was forced to pay a fine from top to bottom to calm the matter down. Mrs. Weasley's shop took the opportunity to advertise and announced that she would open a new branch called "Molly Weasley's Wardrobe."

Everyone piled into Mr. Weasley's car, and as Robert looked at the legendary vehicle, he couldn't help but feel a little nervous. "Bumblebee? Is that you? But why did you turn blue?"

Not paying much attention to how they were all going to fit into such a small car with all their luggage, Robert followed the Weasley family to the Burrow.
