MTLNOVEL Chapter 6: 6
While the human race weathered the Ice Age, back across the multiverse in the Universe of War were our story first started, the New King of War of the Planet War, Arrakkazilla learned of the events of Baal and his war on the YawiKlims. With a desire to conquer everything, Arrakkazilla decides to wage war on the rest of the multiverse for two reasons: the head of the Great Scientist God Baal and the complete conquests of Baal's creations. And so while humanity continued its survival of the Ice Age, King Arrakkazilla spread his war from one universe to the next conquering everything in his path as he slowly made his way to the universe that housed the Milky Way galaxy. It wasn't long before the Warians found themselves on the Ice Planet known as Earth. Soon after they found the Shadow Empire and the Exiles-those unlucky enough for whatever reason not to make it in the sealed off empire. Those that managed to survive anyways and their descendants. Most of the original Exiles had died off though a few had some how managed to survive.
When the Warians met the Exiles, a plan was hatched and the down fall of the Shadow Empire began. First the Exiles infiltrated the ranks of the remnants of the Dragamoone Kingdom and turned all against the Shadow Emperor. In a matter of weeks, the Dragamoone Kingdom rose and fell in rebellion against the Shadow Empire. As a result the Empire erased the Kingdom of Dragamoone and its people. Only the Princess managed to escape the genocide due to her engagement to Thomas of the Vale, Prince of the Merchant Kingdom.
Once again the Exiles and the Warians infiltrate the Shadow Empire this time targeting the Merchant Kingdom. Just like before, the Merchant Kingdom rises up in rebellion against the Shadow Empire only to be put down by the Shadow Emperor. Only Thomas and his new wife managed to survive the uprising due to being on their honeymoon.
With the complete wipe out of his labor force, Baal is unable to push the Ice Age back and so he makes a decision. He knew that both uprisings were the cause of the Exiles. Evidence suggested a second unknown party had helped. Despite his power, he knew that he was wholly unprepared to fight this enemy and win without an almost fatal out come for himself. So with all this in mind, Baal sets about preparing for the rebirthing process. As the Exiles and Warians beat down his door, Baal initiates the rebirthing process. As they come crashing into the room, the last anyone sees or hears of the Shadow Emperor Baal God of Destruction Undying King of Night, was one of his eyes, a lock of hair, his right middle finger and his voice saying "Ill be back" before disappearing in a cloud of black shadows interspersed with reddish purple blinding light.
It was during this rebirthing process that Baal notices the Last Primordial Shard of Chaos residing inside of himself and that he was the Shard and the Shard was him. The Shard seemed to have a bottomless well of unexplainable power. So powerful was it that upon being reborn as a human, The Shard had sealed itself away so its powers didn't destroy its new host and all memory of it was locked away because humans were too weak to wield the Shard.
With this in mind, Baal halts the rebirthing process entering into a kind of hibernation stasis, bidding his time and waiting for the perfect opportunity to be reborn. The Exiles and Warians slowly repopulate the Earth and with the Warians help bring the Ice Age to an end. Thus issuing the Era of the Warian Galactic Empire. Time passes and some Warians start to interbreed with the humans. Others don't and look down on those who do for they believe humans to be beneath them. This eventually lead to another War but those who apposed the cross species breeding where wholly unprepared for the combined might of their brethren and humans. The Warians who saw humans as slaves and cattle where forced to retreat from the mainland forcing them to create an island home for themselves. This island was a technological marvel the Warians called Atlantis after one of their home planets.
Eventually the Warians recovered from their loss enough that they concoct a plan to allow them to wipe out all the blasphemers and half breeds and enslave the rest of humanity.
Unfortunately their plan doesn't succeed due to one particular family. A Warian named Alexander Mightvall and his newly wed wife, a human name Marissa Nighs who was 3 weeks pregnant with their half breed son, Baals new vessel.
