Chapter 94: HHES: Chapter 94
Staying here would get him killed too.
"I'll return the pain you inflicted!" Feitan roared, his Nen intensifying, becoming even more terrifying. A strange outfit materialized on Feitan's body; his Nen turned black.
Loki frowned slightly. 'Why? I still don't sense danger!' Feitan's Nen had reached a terrifying level.
Even a Nen bullet could injure him, yet Loki felt no danger. Without precognitive intuition, Loki might have run, but he wanted to know why his intuition wasn't reacting.
"Nobunaga, run! Or you'll die!" Machi shouted.
Nobunaga punched a wall, then fled downstairs.
"Become scorching heat!" Feitan shouted. His terrifying Nen condensed into a ping-pong-sized Nen bullet before him.
"Pain Packer!" Whoosh! The Nen bullet rose. Feitan looked at Loki, his gaze icy.
"Burn under the Rising Sun!"
Boom whum whum! The Nen bullet changed, rapidly expanding, destroying the ceiling. Rocks fell; red light appeared.
The Nen bullet transformed into a small sun, emitting terrifying heat, scorching everything. Red light shone on five connected floors. The light was more terrifying than Loki's flames.
Feitan looked at Loki, wanting to see his death.
The fleeing Troupe members panicked.
"Feitan used his ability too fast! He wants to kill us all!" Phinks complained. The temperature was rising.
"Faster!" Machi said, increasing her speed. They ran downstairs.
The Nen bullet expanded into a ten-meter sphere. The heat rose rapidly; the building's glass shattered. The ground cracked.
"Hahaha! Flame Kid, feel the burn!" Feitan laughed, the ground collapsing. He closed his eyes, wanting to hear Loki's screams.
One second. Two seconds. Ten seconds. Why was there no sound? Was he killed instantly? The heat destroyed several floors, but the building remained intact.
Feitan opened his eyes, stunned. Loki was unharmed; his clothes were unchanged! He was unaffected by the heat. The light faded after tens of seconds.
Feitan stared at Loki. "Impossible. Why aren't you injured? Why is my ability ineffective? What did you do?" He didn't believe his attack was ineffective; Loki must have hidden an ability.
Loki looked down at Feitan, who was immobile, a lamb to the slaughter.
"This is the end for you," Loki said calmly.
Feitan glared at Loki, filled with rage. He knew his situation. He'd thought this narrow space was perfect for his ability, to avenge his injuries and humiliation, but his ability was ineffective. He had a period of weakness after using his ability.
Feitan had led himself to this. Anger clouded his judgment. If he hadn't been angry, and had cooperated with the others, he would have been a bigger threat to Loki.
Feitan finally calmed down. He'd been too arrogant.
Coughing up blood, Feitan's gaze grew calm.
"Kill me."
Loki paused, looking into Feitan's eyes. 'He accepts his fate.' Death meant nothing to the Phantom Troupe.
"As you wish," Loki said.
Boom! Flames gathered in Loki's palm. He clenched his fist; flames erupted. Fiery serpents coiled around his arm. The bright light was dazzling in the darkness.
Feitan gritted his teeth, staring at Loki's fist. 'Fire?' 'Is this my fate?'
Loki raised his fist, bringing it down on Feitan's head. The light filled Feitan's eyes.
Boom boom boom! The flames erupted, cracking the ground like a spiderweb, spreading several meters.
