"Are you sure there won't be any problems?"

"Don't worry, everything is prepared. There won't be any issues at all!"

"That's good to hear!"

Keress and Garceus, two deities of the Underworld, had taken on human forms and joined the army led by Sparta as the vanguard.

The army only numbered three thousand!

But these three thousand soldiers each exuded a powerful aura of Cosmos, and every one of them possessed immense divine power. They were all on the brink of understanding the will of the gods, about to become deities in this Golden Age of mankind.

As for Keress and Garceus?

These two were purely there to ensure nothing went wrong, participating in the battle out of caution.

It may seem that everything Sparta had achieved was through their own efforts, overcoming countless hardships to get where they were.

But in reality?

Keress, Garceus, Eurynomos, and Karl—these four deities of the Underworld—had been silently safeguarding Sparta. The other deities of the Underworld had also been watching over them in secret, making sure nothing went awry.

Right now, Sparta was like the Tang Monk on his journey to obtain scriptures.

Forget about conspiracy theories; this is simply a second disciple coming down to earn some glory. What was Jin Chanzi's status before his reincarnation? He was just a lowly monk, barely worthy of mention, certainly not a Bodhisattva or an Arhat.

And yet, after spending a few hundred years enduring trials that were all meticulously arranged, he returned as the Buddha of Merit, holding the 47th position in the pantheon.

Isn't that clear enough?

What more is there to say? Earning glory, gaining experience—you can go through trials, but all those trials must be within a controlled environment.

Everything must be perfectly controlled. It may look dangerous on the surface, but in reality, everything is under control, with no real threat to life.

Sparta's situation is exactly the same. Are you kidding? Who is Sparta? The future God of War of the Underworld! There's no doubt about that.

Given such circumstances, Sparta must be protected. What happens if something goes wrong?

To that end, four deities of the Underworld are secretly protecting him. Over millions of years, Sparta has faced numerous trials, many of which were secretly orchestrated by the Sea and Sky realms.

After all, they don't want this deity to fully mature. Who knows what might happen if Sparta does grow to his full potential? 

He would be a God-King-level War God, and a War God of the Underworld at that. Allowing him to grow unchecked would pose a significant threat to the other two God-Kings.

As for the conversation between Keress and Garceus, it stemmed from a simple fact: Sparta was preparing for a grand expedition.

Sparta intended to conquer the entire mortal world, offering death and war to Lord Hades, thereby fully actualizing his faith.

This was a test for Sparta, and likewise, this expedition was a test for the Underworld, the Sea realm, and the Sky realm.

If everything goes as expected, the first war between these realms, centered around Sparta's expedition, is about to begin.

This is no joke.

Sparta's potential was incredibly high from the beginning. Upon entering the Underworld, all it would take was diligent cultivation, and he could eventually ascend to the rank of God-King. The only thing it would cost him was time.

But if Sparta truly completes this grand expedition, what will the outcome be? Upon his return to the Underworld, Sparta will directly ascend to the rank of Chief God, standing alongside Mephistopheles and Moirai.

At that point, Sparta's path to becoming a God-King would be too easy.

Naturally, Poseidon and Zeus want to prevent this from happening. They must stop Sparta's expedition.

In simple terms, this is a clash—a divine war.

However!

The three God-Kings understand very well that if they were to personally intervene in this war, it would be too much. Before the end of the Silver Age, they need to wage this divine war in this manner.

The Underworld, the Sky realm, and the Sea realm.

All are preparing, and all the gods are watching the spectacle, including the Star Gods who enjoy playing games. They have all emerged to watch.

This is a grand drama!

And of course, they must see it through.

Sparta's expedition, this war, involves more than just Sparta for the Underworld.

Moirai has woven the Symphony of Destruction into destiny.

Hestia has laid the groundwork for ruin and devastation.

And many other preparations are in place. This expedition by Sparta is a major undertaking for the Underworld. If it fails, it won't just be a meaningless effort.

These preparations are of utmost importance. If this step fails, there will only be one chance left during the Silver Age.

Keress, Garceus, Eurynomos, and Karl.

These four Titan-level deities of the Underworld dared not be careless, working tirelessly to prepare every detail.

This war of Sparta represents the war of the humans of the Golden Age in the mortal world.

And!

The four deities represent the Underworld in a war against the Sea and Sky realms, a clash between the three God-Kings.

"Keress, are you ready?" Karl, in human form, approached and asked.

Keress nodded, "Everything is ready on my end. All preparations are in place. We're just waiting for Eurynomos to return."

"In general, everything is ready."

Keress, Garceus, and Karl discussed among themselves, double-checking their preparations to ensure everything was in order.

These matters were of utmost importance, and they could not afford even the slightest mistake!

This Spartan expedition is far too crucial for the Underworld.

Much of the Underworld's plans hinge on this expedition. If it succeeds, the benefits for the Underworld will be enormous.

In fact...

According to Aether's plan, if this expedition succeeds, the coming era will be one where the Underworld rules the mythological world.

Using this opportunity, the Underworld will maximize its gains to perfection.
