I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!

Chapter 130 Shopping (1)

"I see…" she murmured, holding back a sigh.

"You have full freedom to arrange the schedule as you like," Dante added, his tone as calm as if he were talking about the weather. "Since you are the only teacher there, you know best what they need."

Alina's face brightened immediately. "Really? Thank you so much, sir!" she beamed, the corners of her eyes crinkling.

Dante's gaze lingered on her for a moment, perhaps faintly amused by how easily her mood shifted from polite formality to genuine excitement. "Anything else, Miss Alina?" he asked.

Her eyes flicked upward—just for a moment—catching the faint curve of his dark horns before she quickly refocused on her papers. "Yes. Class D needs a cork bulletin board… and a few other things as well."

"Good," Dante said with a decisive nod. "I don't know what things are necessary for a classroom, so if you require anything, you can ask me."

"Thank you, sir," Alina said again, then leaned forward slightly. "Actually… our students made some art projects today. I was thinking of putting them on display. Maybe when we have a parents' meeting, we could show them all the things their children have created?"

Dante's eyes lit up in a way she hadn't seen before, a subtle spark of approval. "Very good, Miss Alina," he said with the faintest curve of a smile tugging at his lips.

Alina almost forgot to breathe for a second. That was the first time, with her, she'd seen him look… well, not exactly warm, but something close. She quickly nodded, mentally noting that even the intimidating principal had a softer side when it came to his kindergarten.

"Maybe," Dante said suddenly, leaning forward, "I don't know most of the things you need. Let's go shopping."

"Huh?" Alina blinked, caught completely off guard. "S–shopping?"

Her mind immediately pictured the wrong kind of scene—her and the tall, horned principal walking through a crowded mall together, his dark coat sweeping behind him while people stared. She had to quickly remind herself that he was supernatural—surely he could just order anything with a snap of his fingers.

As if reading her expression, Dante said evenly, "You can buy anything you think is necessary for the classroom."

"Oh… right." Alina realized he probably didn't know much about everyday school supplies, so going together made sense.

"Do you know where we can purchase these things in the human world?" he asked.

"Yes," Alina replied, thinking for a moment. "There's a large mall in the city that has everything we might need. They even have a big stationery store with all kinds of supplies."

"Good," he said, closing the folder in front of him with a soft thud. "We'll go now."

Alina blinked, caught mid-thought. "Now??"

Dante's head tilted slightly, his tone as casual as ever. "Is there a problem? Is the mall closed or something?"

She waved her hands quickly. "Of course not, sir! But your—" Her eyes flicked up toward his head, hesitating. She didn't want to be rude, but… well… those horns weren't exactly something you saw every day at a human shopping center.

He followed her gaze, and in the next second, her eyes went wide as the elegant black horns faded away, dissolving into nothing like mist caught in sunlight.

She stared, unable to hide her amazement. That kind of power… if she could do that, she'd never have to worry about messy hair or chipped nail polish ever again.

"Is that alright?" he asked, his voice calm as if nothing unusual had just happened.

"Yes, but your clothes…" she trailed off, not quite sure how to say it. His current outfit looked like something from an expensive period drama—long coat, tailored waistcoat, intricate buttons—utterly flawless, but definitely not something people wore to grab stationery. If they went to the mall together like this, people might mistake him for a celebrity filming a movie scene. And honestly, considering how handsome Dante was, she wouldn't blame them.

"What would be fine, then?" he asked, completely serious, as if discussing a business contract.

"Just… a shirt and pants," Alina suggested gently. "Simple, comfortable. Something casual."

He nodded once, then turned toward the side of the room. "Shadow!"

A shimmer of darkness unfolded like a curtain, and from it stepped a tall demon with curling black horns and glowing eyes.

Alina nearly jumped from her chair. "Oh!" She clapped a hand over her mouth. This wasn't the first supernatural she had met, but it still caught her off guard every time—especially when they appeared out of nowhere like a horror movie jump-scare.

"Prepare a shirt and pants for me," Dante instructed without missing a beat.

Alina's gaze drifted back to his face. "Uh… sir, your eyes too…" She gestured vaguely. The deep crimson in his irises was beautiful in an otherworldly way, but unless they were going for 'Halloween in August,' it was going to draw attention.

Dante inclined his head in acknowledgment, then turned back to the demon. "Shadow, bring the clothes I asked for… and an eye-changing potion from witch Jenna."

The demon gave a respectful nod and vanished into darkness again, leaving the air faintly cooler where he had stood.

Alina exhaled slowly, still trying to process the fact that she had just watched her boss make his horns vanish, summon a demon assistant, and order an eye color change as casually as if he'd asked for a coffee.

She really hoped the mall was ready for him.

After about five minutes, the air in the corner of the office shimmered again and Shadow reappeared, moving silently as ever. In his hands was a sleek brown shopping bag and, balanced carefully on top, a small tray holding several glass bottles filled with shimmering liquid.

Dante reached out and took them without a word, his movements smooth and practiced. With the barest flick of his fingers, he gestured for Shadow to leave, and the demon vanished once more into nothingness, leaving only the faint echo of his presence behind.

Alina's eyes flicked to the bottles in Dante's hands. Each one was labeled in elegant script, the colors inside swirling faintly like molten gemstones—blue, brown, black, and green. She had a feeling these weren't your average "color contact lenses" in a bottle.

"Which color should I use on my eyes?" Dante asked, his tone casual but his gaze fixed on her in that intense, unreadable way of his.

The question caught her off guard. She blinked, her mind scrambling. Was this a test? Did he expect her to choose something based on… what? Fashion sense? Professionalism? Personal preference?
