I Became a Little Vampire Princess After Being Infected by a Game Virus

Chapter 42: Finally Found It

Chapter 42: Finally Found It

“It should be right here. I can sense her presence. She must still be in this small town. What a poor place! I can’t believe this Little Princess could stay here for so long.”

Harker finally arrived at the small town. He had been searching for what felt like an eternity in this world. He thought that the Little Princess would be in some bustling metropolis, but to his surprise, she was in such a shabby rural area.

Without delay, Harker decided to enter the small town. However…

“Excuse me, please provide your identification.”

The guard stationed at the entrance blocked his way. He wouldn’t let him in.

“Identification? How dare a lowly human stop me? Get lost!”

Harker dismissed the guard with a flick of his wrist, unleashing black lightning that knocked the guard out cold with ease.

“Hmph, even after 300 years, humans are still worthless.”

With a snort, Harker stepped into this small town. The town wasn’t particularly big or small, housing around 10,000 residents. Finding the Little Princess in this place wouldn’t be a simple task.

Yet Harker seemed prepared. Finding an unnoticed corner, he pulled out a vial and poured its black liquid onto the ground. Soon, the liquid coalesced into a black Slime, which looked up at its master, waiting for orders.

Unhurried, Harker took out a pair of pink panties—something Aierjisi wore back in the palace. He tossed the panties onto the Slime, which quickly absorbed them into its body.

“Go, find the owner of these panties.”

The Slime nodded and turned to seek its original owner.

“Now, I just have to wait for good news from the Shadow Slime. I might as well find a cozy place to get some rest.”

Harker hadn’t had a good night’s sleep in days while searching for the Little Princess. While the Slime was out hunting for her, he could use the time to catch some much-needed rest.

Meanwhile, the Little Princess was completely unaware of the severity of the situation, happily playing with Yake in the town.

“Aier, just how much can you eat as a member of the Blood Clan?”

Looking at Aierjisi across from her, Yake couldn’t help but ask. Her appetite was downright terrifying! Ever since they arrived at this restaurant, Aierjisi had devoured around 14 pounds of roasted lamb and 17 pounds of beef! Now, she was fiercely gnawing on a roasted leg of lamb. Even more astonishing was the fact that after all that food, there was not a trace of a stomach bulge on the Little Princess!

Geez, I feel like if she keeps eating like this, I’ll be too broke to support her soon!

“Huh? Is this considered a lot of food?”

Aierjisi set down the lamb leg and looked at Yake.

“I think that’s quite a bit! That’s over thirty pounds of meat!”

Yake glanced around at the other diners, who were also secretly watching Aier with amazement at her insane appetite.

“Well, it’s probably because our digestive systems are different. The Blood Clan’s digestive system converts food not just into stamina but also into Magic Power. Generally, we don’t feel full until our Magic Power is replenished.”

And since Aierjisi had an abundance of Magic Power compared to others in the Blood Clan, she naturally had to eat much more to make sure she was filled.

However, Aierjisi overlooked one little detail. The beef and lamb she was gobbling up were just regular livestock, providing a pitiful amount of Magic Power once digested. They couldn’t compare to the Magic Power offered by the Magical Beasts in the ruins.

“Oh, so that’s how it is.”

Yake started to grasp the general concept of the Blood Clan’s quirks.

With Aierjisi’s “assault” on the restaurant’s food supplies, they had successfully cleaned it out. Yake had to take the Little Princess to find something else interesting.

“Yake, what’s that? There are so many people gathered around there.”

As they passed through the square, Aierjisi noticed a commotion, with people cheering around a certain spot.

“Oh, that? It’s probably a Circus performance. Wait, could it be… Mr. Roger’s Circus?”

Yake hadn’t paid much attention initially, but as he took a closer look, he realized it really was Mr. Roger’s Circus. This was amazing! He needed to hurry home and call for his mom and Xier to come watch too. Mr. Roger’s Circus was not just any run-of-the-mill performance; it was something special! Plus, it was always free for the audience to enjoy, allowing everyone to experience the brilliance of the show. However, Mr. Roger’s Circus was notorious for being elusive; no one knew how long they would stay in one place or where they would go next for their performance. This was incredibly lucky to catch them in their town!

“A Circus performance? That sounds super fun! Let’s make this our entertainment for today.”

“You stay here, Aier. I’ll go home and get mom and Xier. They’ll definitely want to see this too.”

Leaving the Little Princess in a safe spot—after all, with her strength, no one could harm her—Yake dashed home.

“Mom! Xier! You won’t believe this!”

Pushing the door open, Yake stood in the living room, shouting excitedly.

“What’s going on, big brother? You look so animated. Did you finally manage to lose your virginity?”

Xier put down her book and stared at her brother.

“No, no, it’s the Circus! The Mr. Roger Circus is performing in the square right now!”

“Eh? Mr. Roger’s Circus?”

Hearing such groundbreaking news, Xier jumped up from the couch.

“Yes! It’s right in the town square. If we hurry, we might still make it! Who knows when they’ll leave.”

“Why didn’t you say so sooner? I’m going now! Wait for me to change! Mom! Don’t sleep, the Mr. Roger Circus is here!”

Xier dashed upstairs to change while also calling Reina.

“I’m heading over first. Aier is still waiting there for me; I can’t leave her alone for too long.”

After notifying everyone, Yake rushed back to the square, and fortunately, Mr. Roger’s Circus performance was still ongoing.
