I Became the Bully that gets Avenged by The Academy

Chapter 8

Chapter 8

Isabella's POV

Today, as usual, I was heading to the academy in a sedan driven by a butler belonging to the White family.

While I had nothing particular to do in the car and was looking at the morning streets through the window—

"My lady, a transfer student will arrive at the academy today or tomorrow."

"A transfer student?"

"Yes, it's one of the children from House Visen, one of the old ducal families. We received information that they're transferring from the Eastern Academy for some reason."

"Hmm... I see. Thank you."

A transfer student at this timing.

It must be that person.

One of the characters who appears in the original story.

But appearing this early?

In the original story, this character definitely didn't appear until the second semester of the second year.

Well, since things were already progressing ahead of the original story's timeline, it wasn't too shocking.

And then, she arrived during the academy's morning hours.

"This is a transfer student from the Eastern Academy. Go ahead, introduce yourself."

"Hello? I'm Charlotte Visen, who just transferred here."

Yes, Charlotte Visen—she's one of the villainesses who appears in the original story.

Though not a pure native, she's a member of House Visen, one of the old ducal families.

She's one of the popular young ladies known for her outstanding abilities and beautiful appearance, and as I mentioned, she appears as a villainess in the original story.

Though she doesn't start as a villainess, she eventually becomes one.

As for her actions, you could say she just follows the crowd.

Though not quite the same rank, Charlotte becomes somewhat close to Isabella and joins in bullying the protagonist—an ordinary perpetrator.

But since I'm no longer bullying Lucia now, it shouldn't be a big problem, right?

In the original story, it was Isabella's bullying that started everything.

And if Visen tries to bully Lucia, I can handle it at my level.

Though the original story was about Lucia's revenge, it would be best if there was no need for revenge at all.

Well, since I had no reason to become friends with her anyway, I just sat quietly and continued what I was doing.

"Ah, Lady Isabella. I heard there's a transfer student in the class. What do you think?"

"Just another girl from a wealthy old noble family."

"Hmm... is that so? I heard Vishan or Visen is quite a high-ranking family..."

"It's Visen. Well, though House Visen isn't a low-ranking family, they're not higher than the Whites." (TN: If only there was another way.)

"Ah."

"Why? Are you interested in Visen?"

"No, that's not it."

I just said I'd heard of them before.

Visen is one of the most powerful families and corporations, so that's possible.

Though absolutely not on the level to compare with the Whites.

While I was talking with Lucia as usual, Visen suddenly approached us.

"Lucy?"

"Lotte?"

Suddenly, they called each other by different names.

"Lucy, it's been so long!"

"Yeah... it really has been a long time, Lotte."

"Right? Is this the first time since we were children?"

They suddenly started chatting in a friendly atmosphere upon seeing each other.

I was dumbfounded watching them suddenly become so friendly.

Lucia and Visen know each other? There was no such description or content in the original story.

No, why is nothing matching with the original story...

"Lucy, since we met after so long, want to go eat together? I found a nice place recently."

"Huh? Ah... just a moment..."

Hearing that invitation, Lucia started looking at me anxiously.

She probably wants to go but is wondering if I'll allow it.

I just resolved the situation by excusing myself.

They'll probably eat well together.

They'll probably eat veeeery well together.

After excusing myself, I naturally went back to the classroom and chatted with others as usual.

Yes, as 'usual.'

It definitely wasn't because Lucia was going out with a friend she hadn't seen in a long time.

***

I've returned to the mansion and I'm really hungry for the first time in either life.

I rarely went without food in my previous and current lives, but now I'm starving because of Lucia.

"Ughh...."

Maybe I should have just pretended to be oblivious and stayed there to eat together...

But eating alone would have been awkward.

After hiding my hunger until dinner, I finally ate more than usual.

When the maid saw me eating so enthusiastically, which was unusual, she asked if something had happened, but I just said I was active today, and she responded with an "Aha!" before returning to work.

After enjoying dinner, I went to the bathroom to wash up.

I notice it every time, but this bathroom is so large that I'm not sure whether to call it a bathroom or a bathhouse.

At first, I used to blush seeing this body, but now I don't particularly feel anything even seeing my own naked body.

People don't usually get excited seeing their own body, right? I just think of it as natural now.

Well, it's not like I've never had any private time.

How could I not try anything after becoming a woman?

I'm certain that if I were a man, I would have definitely tried at least once.

After washing my body, I got into one of the warm baths, closed my eyes, and hummed a song.

The warm, humid air in the bathroom is somehow magical.

A magic that naturally makes you want to sing.

Sometimes, it gives you a somewhat sentimental feeling.

"Phew....."

Maybe I was in the bath for about 20-30 minutes?

Afterward, I got out, dried off, and dried my hair.

While drying my hair, I thought about how inconvenient it is to have such long hair.

It's especially inconvenient because it takes sooooo long to dry.

I considered cutting it to shoulder length.

But thinking about how Father and the Miss Maid would react if I cut it, I just decided to put up with the inconvenience.

Should I tie it up like Visen does? Ah, but that's only convenient when moving around—it's still inconvenient when drying.

There's a way to dry hair with magic, but it's not very fast.

If you do it too quickly, you might burn it.

"Ah."

Should I start letting someone attend to my bath from now on?

The maid should be used to it, right? She's been seeing me for a month, so she should be familiar.

I asked Miss Maid if she would be willing to attend to my bath starting tomorrow.

As soon as I asked, she immediately agreed.

Hmm... I guess she might have been hurt when I initially refused her help.

But I was just too embarrassed then.

The next morning, I started my bath with her attendance. From the hair washing onwards, it was significantly different from when I did it myself.

It felt twice—no, about five times better than getting your hair washed at a salon.

After washing my hair, she used a shower towel to scrub my body with just the right pressure—strong enough to feel refreshing but not enough to hurt.

Afterward, I got into the bath to relieve the morning fatigue.

I asked the maid if she wanted to join me, but she said she had other work to do and needed to leave first, asking me to call her again when I got out.

Well, I was planning to stay in the bath for about 20 minutes anyway, so I relaxed there before getting out.

When I called the maid after getting out, though I didn't hear running footsteps, she arrived quickly and dried my long hair and styled it.

Unlike when I used to roughly dry it and only fix the bangs, I could now see beautiful hair and a hairstyle that better suited Isabella's face.

Hmm... I should definitely keep asking the maid to attend to me from now on.
