“M-Mister… I-I can’t hold it anymore…”

“Kaaaahhh!!”

Ignoring Kang Hae-seok’s agony, Yoo Ha-yeon pleaded with Seo-ho, her legs shaking.

“You held out well. Break the other arm, and I’ll turn it off.”

“R-Really?”

“What?! Wh-What do you mean…?! Wait…!!”

Ha-yeon smiled innocently at his words. Hae-seok paled, but his words were cut short.

*Crack—!*

His other arm was broken. Hae-seok’s screams filled the second-floor hall. He thrashed on the floor, foaming at the mouth. The soldiers stared, bewildered, unable to comprehend what was happening.

“You fucking biiiitch—!!”

“Now, before they wake up…”

Seo-ho took the pistol from Hae-seok’s back pocket. The soldiers’ rifles had been disabled by Da-hee, so they were useless. But Hae-seok had always carried his pistol, so they couldn’t tamper with it. It was the only functioning gun. He hadn’t taken it earlier because Ha-yeon couldn’t handle even a single pistol. Hae-seok was the only threat, and handling him alone was enough.

But Hae-seok, writhing on the floor, managed to lift his head and shout at the stunned soldiers.

“Shoot!! Shoot, you idiots!! What are you just standing there for!!”

The soldiers snapped out of their daze and aimed their rifles at Seo-ho and Ha-yeon. They pulled the triggers without hesitation.

“Eeeeek—!!”

Shooting a zombie was one thing, but shooting a person was a different kind of pressure. The soldiers pulled the triggers, their faces tense.

*Click, click.*

“Wh-What the…? What the fuck…! Why isn’t it working?!”

“M-Malfunction…! The bullets won’t fire!”

The soldiers, panicking, pulled the bolts of their rifles, but they were useless.

*Click, click.*

The rifles had been tampered with earlier that morning.

“You fucking…! Useless pieces of shit…! If the guns don’t work, use the butt of your rifles to bash their heads in, you idiots!!”

Hae-seok screamed, beside himself with pain and frustration. But the soldiers didn’t move. They’d seen what had happened to Hae-seok’s arms.

“What, are you scared of one girl?”

Seo-ho mocked them, placing his hand on Ha-yeon’s shoulder. She was still trembling from the vibrator’s stimulation.

“Haaah…! M-Mister, it’s done now… I-I don’t need to tremble anymore…! Hmm…!”

Some of the soldiers, even in this situation, were aroused by Ha-yeon’s beauty.

“Where are you looking when I have a woman right here?”

Seo-ho turned off the vibrator’s remote. Ha-yeon sighed in relief, then pouted and punched him lightly in the chest.

“You’re so mean, Mister.”

“Didn’t it excite you, though?”

“I-It was embarrassing. With so many people watching.”

Maybe he had gone too far. He whispered an apology in her ear.

“Let’s deal with them first. I’ll do whatever you want later.”

“Huh? …Wh-Whatever I want.”

Ha-yeon, who had been frustrated by his recent preoccupation with other women, smiled at his promise. He’d let her have her way with him if it motivated her.

Ha-yeon hummed and looked at the soldiers.

“Hee, heeeek…!!”

The soldiers whimpered and cowered before the pretty girl’s gaze.

It didn’t take long to subdue them. Ha-yeon’s attacks were clumsy, as she had no combat training. But she had overwhelming physical strength. Even a light tap from her could knock a soldier out.

Of course, he could have just ordered her to break their legs, but he wanted to save some of the fun for later. He’d told Ha-yeon to incapacitate them without causing serious injuries.

“Kaaaaah—!!”

Some of the soldiers, emboldened by their numbers, rushed at Ha-yeon. But she could lift a refrigerator as if it were a teddy bear.

“Ugh, ugh…”

One of the charging soldiers was met with a casual backhand that sent him crashing into a wall, foaming at the mouth. The dormitory group was peacefully subdued.

“I was worried about the guns.”

He’d been 고민ing about how to subdue them without anyone getting hurt. He had many ways to kill them, but he wanted to toy with them before they died. He didn’t want them to die in the process of subduing them.

“It was a lot of work, but worth it.”

Hae-seok lay on the floor, glaring at him, his arms crushed. The other soldiers were incapacitated. Chae Su-ah was trembling in a corner, her face pale with terror.

“Now, before these guys wake up, do what I asked.”

“Yes! I’ll do it quickly, Mister!”

He had Ha-yeon tie up the unconscious soldiers, just in case they woke up.

“Th-Thank you so much…!”

Then, Lee Sang-woon, the civilian leader, approached him, bowing and scraping.

“Thanks to you, we were able to escape unharmed. I-I don’t know how to repay this kindness.”

Even as he smiled, fear was evident in his eyes. He probably hadn’t expected things to go so smoothly, despite having followed Seo-ho’s instructions to disable the guns.

“No, well… you don’t need to repay me.”

“……Huh?”

Seo-ho smiled awkwardly at Sang-woon, then casually punched him in the face.

—*Wham.*

“Ughaaah…!!”

Sang-woon, caught completely off guard, went flying.

“Haa… that felt better than I expected. Right, Professor?”

“Wh-Why are you suddenly…”

Sang-woon, clutching his face, looked at him with a mixture of confusion and fear. He probably couldn’t understand why he’d been hit. Seo-ho chuckled, then started to remove his mask.

Just then.

“S-Seo-ho oppaaaa!!”

Oh Na-yeon rushed out from the civilian group and threw herself into his arms. The others murmured in confusion.

“Why is she doing that…?”

“Did she go crazy after being sold?”

“Still, to hug him like that…”

“Wait, Seo-ho…? I’ve heard that name before.”

Ignoring them, Na-yeon clung to him, tears streaming down her face.

“O-Oppa…! It’s all done, right? Y-You’re taking me with you, right? I did everything you told me to do…!”

He could see Da-hee sighing in the distance. She’d probably tried to stop Na-yeon but failed. It didn’t matter; things were winding down. He patted Na-yeon’s head. She looked up at him, her expression brightening as she buried her face in his chest.

“N-Na-yeon-ah—!!”

Then, a familiar voice called out from the civilian group. It was Han Ji-ho. He looked shocked as he saw Na-yeon clinging to Seo-ho.

“Why are you hugging that bastard?! Come here, it’s dangerous!!”

He still didn’t understand the situation, or maybe he didn’t want to. But Na-yeon didn’t budge. Ji-ho’s expression darkened.

“Y-You son of a bitch…!!”

He glared at Seo-ho, about to charge at him.

“Hey, you crazy bastard…! What are you doing!”

“Didn’t you see the soldiers flying?! Stay still!”

The other men quickly restrained Ji-ho. Seo-ho looked around. Sang-woon was clutching his face on the floor. The soldiers were unconscious, except for Hae-seok, who glared at him. The civilians watched fearfully, except for Ji-ho, who was flushed with anger. Chae Su-ah trembled in a corner.

“This is a mess.”

He sighed, then whispered to Na-yeon.

“Na-yeon, cover your ears.”

Na-yeon immediately covered her ears. He raised his pistol and fired at the ceiling.

*Bang! Bang!!*

The loud noise silenced the room. Everyone froze, staring at him. He smiled, pleased with their reaction, lowered his gun, and looked around.

“Well, anyway, it’s been a while, everyone. Have you been well?”

His tone was casual, as if a nephew were greeting his uncle after a long time. But they looked at him as if he were a stranger. He sighed, feeling a little hurt, then removed his mask.

His face, which had been hidden except for his eyes, was now revealed. Their expressions shifted from confusion to shock. Especially Sang-woon, Hae-seok, Ji-ho, and Su-ah. Their faces were priceless.

“I wish I had a camera.”

He smiled, waving his gun hand while fondling Na-yeon’s ass with the other.

“Do you all remember me?”

No one answered. But their expressions said it all. They stared at him as if they were seeing a ghost, their mouths agape in shock.

“S-Seo-ho-goon… h-how…”

Sang-woon was the first to speak. He stood up, realizing why he’d been punched. But Seo-ho ignored him, humming as he walked towards the window. He looked out and saw two soldiers on guard duty, chatting.

“They have no idea what’s going on here.”

He opened the window and shouted.

“Everyone—! Assemble on the first floor—!!”

The two soldiers jumped, startled. They looked up, confused, but since it wasn’t a soldier or Hae-seok who had shouted, they just stood there, looking at him as if he were crazy.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t talking to them. The ones who heard his voice soon revealed themselves.

-M-Moooaaan….

-Groooaaan…, grooaann.

“Wh-What the hell are these guys!!”

“Fuck!! Fuck!!”

A horde of zombies began to swarm towards the dormitory. These were the zombies he’d been gathering during his visits. Hearing his voice, they began to climb the barricades, using each other as stepping stones. The soldiers, panicked, tried to shoot.

*Click, click.*

But of course, their guns didn’t work.

“Kaaaahhh!!”

The two soldiers were eventually caught and devoured by the zombies.

“Th-This can’t be…”

Sang-woon muttered, watching the scene in disbelief. The others were equally stunned by the zombies that had appeared in response to his voice.

“They’re all distracted.”

It was understandable. They were terrified of zombies. They were probably more afraid of the zombies than of him holding a gun. But that wasn’t right. He was the main attraction.

He clapped his hands. The people who had been staring out the window turned back to him. He pushed Na-yeon aside and stood before them.

“Ah… so… what was the Commander saying earlier…?”

He scratched his temple with the gun, trying to remember.

“Ah, right.”

He smiled and addressed them.

“Kneel, everyone.”

At his gentle command, they trembled, their faces filled with despair.
