Theo looked at the comments. "Well, my way of thinking is unique but by no means is trying to insult you. Doing something you love and getting paid is good, but the world is not ideal.
"Even when I get stronger, I do things I hate to get stronger. That's why you simply do what you need to do, whether it's for family, your happiness, or whatever you think it's worth it.
"Yeah. Anyway, I will stop talking about slavery.
"As for the final exam, it's not going to be me who will test them, but the representatives of each world. That's why I can't say."
Theo turned to Haruka and the others before turning even further, finding footsteps echoing from an entrance.
"Have we finally reached the bottom?" The admiral asked while looking around, finding numerous bones lying on the ground. "Ah!"
He and other knights noticed Theo and the others.
"Mr. Theo!" The admiral immediately rushed to him.
Theo simply pointed to the sword. "That's the sword. With this, the mission is completed."
"Ah!" The admiral was stunned. He never thought that Theo would be able to reach the bottom level first. He thought Theo was using his teleportation to go down, but considering they didn't know the layout, it wouldn't be weird for him to not use it.
Nevertheless, they managed to get the holy sword. As Theo said, the mission had been accomplished.
"Thank you very much." The admiral politely bowed to him.
"It's nothing. I'm merely fulfilling my side of the agreement."
"Of course, the reward will be given to you in full. We won't take our promise. No, I will do my best to give you a better reward." The admiral looked determined. Theo had been single handedly doing everything, so it was fair for him to give more reward.
Theo waved his hand. "Just do what you need to do. I will head back to the surface with those girls and probably go back to the ship. There is no more skeleton to worry about, so take your time."
"Yes. Thank you very much." The admiral nodded and immediately waved his hand to his subordinates. "Let's wrap it up!"
The knights immediately rushed to the sword while Theo led the group back to the surface.
On the way, the sword king said, "Since you want a knight link, I will need you to help her first."
"Can I do that?"
"Yes. The knight link is pretty simple and doesn't really require someone to have it if they want to give it to someone else."
"Oh! But shouldn't she be the one helping her?" Theo pointed at Lithia.
"Me?" Lithia tilted her head in confusion. It was a great honor if Theo and the sword king wanted her to do it, but she wondered if it was alright for her to do this.
"That's fine too." The sword king agreed. "In that case, I will teach her about it."
"Alright." Theo nodded in agreement.
As soon as they reached the surface, they found all the bones piling up near the entrance. Theo chose to use his Space Dao this time. The reason he hadn't used it this whole time was because he wanted to give this precious chance to teach them. Even when they observed him, they could still get a hint.
Now that the mission was done, they could finally return to the ship to get some rest.
Of course, Lithia was busy because she learned everything about imparting the knight link from the sword king.
Since both of them were women, there was no trouble in imparting one another. Then again, it wasn't like the process itself was vulgar, considering the knight link emphasized righteousness.
Nevertheless, Lithia was the one drawing the knight link for Haruka. And after she was done, she continued to Theo.
With this, the trip was completed. Haruka would definitely get more ghosts to side with her, so there was no need for him to worry about her anymore.
As for the empire, it seemed they ended up bringing all the weapons and armor that the skeletons wore, making sure to completely clean the tomb.
The amount of treasure they got simply surpassed anyone's imagination. Of course, the sword king seemed to take pride in having all of that. He was so rich that everything came from his own coffer.
Unfortunately, he wasn't aware that his family would be so cruel to kill all those people who were responsible for his tomb just to avoid revealing its information.
Nevertheless, they returned with all the riches to the main island. It was time for their farewell, as Theo preferred them to have them send everything later and avoid everything related to the authorities.
After all, he knew he couldn't escape from the nobles if he accepted the admiral's invitation to celebrate their success.
In the end, the group returned to the Modern Realm as Theo had to explain to Mia about Lithia and arrange everything she needed as a maid.
Then again, Mia didn't mind having a maid since even in the original world, Theo made her do everything from chores to training. That was why she didn't get any breaks. Having Lithia just meant she would do chores while Mia had a lot of fun times.
And thus, the end of all the missions scheduled for their first year. It was time for them to prepare for the final exam because in this final exam, they didn't just have to complete the written exam but also fight against each world's representative.
