Chapter 582: The Lightspeed Spaceship That Uses Gods as Fuel!_2

Space surged from four different dimensions, followed by an emergence of gray-white mist inside—Death Divine Power!

The position of a deity is a marvelous thing, akin to the fission that occurs when a massive amount of uranium-235 gathers, or the mutual annihilation when matter meets antimatter; it is one of the many laws operating within the cosmos.

Death is one of the most important among these laws, for everything eventually meets its end, and perhaps even the universe is no exception!

However, Lynn also realized that the godhood he had acquired was not as powerful as he had imagined; it felt more like a slow decaying rather than an immediate demise.

After all, Danates was known as the Lord of the Dead, not as the Death God or the Master of Death. His divine position must have been just a branch of the concept of death, or else he could not have been merely a deity of moderate divine power.

Fortunately, this was enough to deal with Aurora!

The gray-white mist of the dead constantly eroded the godhood, further weakening the little power Aurora had left, driving the first major enemy Lynn encountered since crossing over to the brink of death, step by step…

Gods too, can die, of this there is no doubt!

Once the godhood is shattered, the God Realm collapses, and the believers die out, even a high-dimensional being's consciousness will be annihilated and merged into the void in quantum form, becoming one of the myriad swarming microscopic particles.

"Don't even think about it!" Aurora's roar came from within the godhood, as the powerful Moon Divine Power suddenly erupted, prepared to detonate all elements on the planet with the enemy in front of her in a final act of mutual destruction!

"Too late!" Lynn said with a scoff. Had the adversary made a last-ditch effort just now, there might have been a chance for mutual annihilation, but now his God Realm had enveloped the entire planet, snuffing out Aurora's last chance to retaliate.

It must be said, her previous tolerance of his encroachment on her God Realm was undoubtedly a foolish move!

Now was the time to pay the price for that misjudgment!

At this moment, Aurora finally realized that she had suddenly lost control over the elements within the planet, only able to be devoured by the gray-white mist of the dead in despair…

Her divine power eroded, her will worn down, just when Aurora thought she would fall here today, the gray-white mist of the dead suddenly receded.

"What are you trying to do?" Aurora, who had freed herself from the fear of obliteration, stared at Lynn with a strange, puzzled look. She did not believe he was kindly planning to let her go.

"Of course, to take you to meet the Moon Goddess Diana, haven't you always wanted to see her?" Lynn said with a light laugh, then reached out and grabbed the space-time several kilometers in front of him, turning it into a Klein bottle that, along with Aurora trapped inside, fell into his palm.

The Moon God?!

Lynn's words plunged Aurora back into fear; it was precisely by seizing Diana's godhood that she was able to step into the God Realm. If Diana was still alive and had made a deal with these Wizards, this was undoubtedly the worst-case scenario!

Lynn had no intention of explaining. Holding the ethereal Klein bottle, he took a few steps and crossed a hundred thousand li, returning to the starship.

In fact, around the starship were magic power defenses Lynn had deliberately set up. Even a quantum form god trying to invade the starship would not be an easy task, but for Lynn, it was possible to come and go at will.

"Chairman Lynn, how's the situation?" Vittorio and the others immediately surrounded him, eagerly asking, "Did you capture Aurora?"

Because of the Heavenly Disaster caused by those few shots of the positron cannon, the entire planet was shrouded in a murky haze of dust. Added to the distance of a hundred thousand kilometers, they couldn't see how the divine battle had unfolded and were completely unaware of the outcome.

Lynn smiled and directly displayed the Klein bottle in his hand.

The ethereal bottle appeared incredibly strange. Its mouth and entrance were sealed at a bizarre angle that completely merged together, and inside, one could clearly see a fist-sized polygon crystal.

Harrov, Aurora, and Vittorio recognized it at a glance, it was the Moon Godhood they had seen in the Holy City, within it hazily reflected the image of a figure with an angry face, and it was undoubtedly Era.

"Never thought she'd have such a day!" Aurora said with a sigh, recalling how just a few years ago, a mere avatar of the foe had nearly wiped them out completely in the capital.

"Quick, let's try out this new power source!" Dennis urged from the side, barely able to contain his eagerness to discover just how much power a living god could provide.

Lynn nodded, equally interested, and immediately walked over to the Alchemy Energy Section inside the spaceship.

Trapped within the Klein bottle, Era listened to their conversation, her unease growing. Upon seeing the scene inside the engine room, a chill couldn't help but run down her spine.

A giant rock sphere, tens of meters in diameter, hovered in the power room covered with alchemy runes, tightly bound by numerous rune chains.

This was lunar soil, or rather, the body of the Moon Goddess Diana, and the Moon Divine Power she had sensed earlier was emanating from this mass of lunar soil!

These wizards… were actually using the body of a god as the power source for their alchemical creation!

"You are blaspheming the gods!" Era said through clenched teeth, unable to believe that these wizards had dared to commit such insane acts. Recalling Lynn's earlier words, she realized they intended to use her as another power source!

"Have you gone mad?" demanded Era, her eyes shining like stars as she glared at Lynn.

They were gods, beings completely transcendent of the mundane world. Even if they opposed and fought each other, it was an internal matter of their kind. Allowing any mortal to partake was a desecration of their divine status.

If the secrets of gods were penetrated by mortals, the power, status, and glory of gods would never be the same again.

"This universe is vast, far beyond your imagination, what are gods in comparison?" Lynn said mockingly, shaking his head.

When Moon Goddess Diana had arrived at the Eternal Star, she probably brought the pride of being a god. In the end, she was taken out by a few spaceships on a long voyage.

Lynn believed that in this universe, the disc-shaped civilization was surely not the strongest, and even its status as a powerful civilization within this star system was debatable. There might even be higher-dimensional civilizations out there.

Lynn had no interest in further explaining to Era, the stubborn and ignorant deity, and directly replaced the lunar soil with Era, who was trapped in the Four-dimensional Prison.

Unlike Diana who had fallen, leaving behind only a remnant of consciousness, the rational Era was, of course, unwilling to serve as the power source for a starship. This necessitated some coercive measures.

Once again, numerous Locks of Arcane swept up, binding the divine essence firmly. Then the grey-white fog of necromancy appeared once more, forcing Era to continuously summon Divine Power to cloak the exterior of her Godhood unless she wanted her will to be eroded.

Then the two Divine Powers collided, dissolving into each other, and the powerful energy released was channeled into the starship's propulsion system.

The downside to this was clear. Lynn would also need to stay here continuously providing energy. However, the alchemical array for drawing Divine Power could be studied later. The priority was to verify their previous hypotheses!

Vittorio piloted the spaceship back to the moon through a temporal rift, declared victory in this war, arranged for personnel to clean up the otherworld, and then began the speed test.

The target was still that distant Brown Star.

Vittorio cranked up the efficiency of the power system to the maximum, with the Godhood bound by the Locks of Arcane trembling incessantly.

Anger, humiliation, resentment, and unwillingness surged through Era's mind, but to avoid having her consciousness erased, she had to unwillingly increase the supply of Divine Power to resist the encroachment of the necromantic fog.

Under the potent energy produced by the collision of the two Divine Powers, the Curvature Engine started to operate beyond its capacity. In one hundred-thousandth of a second, the spaceship left the moon, speeding towards the Brown Star in a blink.
