I Have a Five-star Seaside Hotel

"These foreigners are so sneaky." 

"They always play these cautious, penny-pinching games, poking here and prodding there. They lack the boldness and decisiveness of our ancestors."

Chen Jianhai sneered, 

"These small, petty moves are so boring."

Seeing Lin Suyang's confused expression, Chen Jianhai tossed the folder in his hand and said:

"Draft a collaboration proposal. Since both of us are theme parks with hotels, why not settle this with a show of strength?" 

"We won't tear down walls or open gates. Instead, we'll go straight to the skies—build a giant roller coaster connecting my park to his, and ask if he agrees!"

Lin Suyang's hand trembled. 

What did this mean? 

The pawns haven't even moved, and you're already going for the enemy's base? 

"Will the roller coaster be a joint project, or will we handle it ourselves?" Lin Suyang asked, unable to believe what he was hearing.

"We'll fund it and build it ourselves." 

Chen Jianhai didn't hesitate. "I don't trust them to handle it."

Lin Suyang panicked: "Boss, is this a real plan… or just a bargaining chip for negotiations?"

Building a massive roller coaster connecting two theme parks wasn't just a matter of safety concerns. The financial and manpower investment alone was unimaginable. 

And with two parks in between, the sheer scale of the project made his head spin just thinking about it.

"Of course, it's real." Chen Jianhai raised an eyebrow. 

You can't catch a wolf without sacrificing a child. 

On the light blue system panel in front of him, the price of the hundreds-of-meters-long "Leap of Life" roller coaster was only 998 points. 

For Chen Jianhai, who had tens of thousands of points at his disposal, a mere giant roller coaster was something he could afford in an instant. 

Not only that, 

he also had the "Construction Master" title, which reduced the construction time of hotel facilities by 50%. 

As long as the other party agreed, 

he could build a giant roller coaster within a week. 

"If guests can take a roller coaster from Lion Castle Hotel directly to the peak of Magic Century Theme Park, skipping the entrance lines, wouldn't that be even more thrilling than a Fast Pass?" 

Chen Jianhai's eyes gleamed with madness. 

When Jamie saw Chen Jianhai's bold proposal for collaboration, he sat in place, stunned for a long time. 

Was Chen Jianhai insane? 

Negotiations were supposed to involve both sides gradually adding筹码, not slamming a royal flush on the table right from the start! 

And Jamie had no idea if this was Chen Jianhai's royal flush or just a small card he casually threw out. 

"What do you all think?" 

Jamie looked around the meeting room at his equally bewildered employees, hoping to hear their opinions. 

The room was dead silent, with only the sound of pens scratching on paper. 

It was safe to say that everyone at Magic Century Theme Park was stunned by Chen Jianhai's proposal. 

Even Jamie and many others thought this might be Chen Jianhai's way of rejecting the collaboration. 

In the silence, only the amusement project manager spoke up thoughtfully: 

"If he's building a roller coaster, what should we build?" 

Jamie raised an eyebrow: "What do you mean?" 

The amusement project manager explained: "I've carefully reviewed the previous collaboration proposals and the geographical layout over the past few days." 

"Our two parks are right next to each other, so his idea of building a roller coaster connecting the two is feasible." 

"But if their project can channel guests into our park, we should also build a similar attraction to reciprocate." 

"...How about a Ferris wheel?" 

The amusement project manager's eyes lit up, as if he had come up with a brilliant idea. 

"A Ferris wheel? How would that work?" The construction department head frowned. 

"A Ferris wheel is a circular, enclosed attraction. A full rotation would require tearing down the walls between the two parks." 

"The cost would be too high, and we'd have to demolish parts of the existing park. I don't think it's feasible." 

Jamie frowned slightly and nodded, then turned his gaze back to the amusement project manager, waiting to hear more. 

"If they can go through the sky, so can we." 

The amusement project manager spoke while sketching a rough layout of the two parks on paper. 

"I'm thinking of designing a U-shaped, open Ferris wheel." 

"We'll install the Ferris wheel above both parks, with two cableways to transport guests in a loop." 

"Here, take a look." 

The amusement project manager drew as he explained: 

"Lion Castle Hotel can send guests directly to our park via the roller coaster." 

"Then we can send our guests to their park via the Ferris wheel." 

"And since the Ferris wheel operates continuously, we don't have to worry about guests not being able to return." 

Jamie's interest was piqued. 

He took the sketch from the amusement project manager. 

Although the drawing was rough, it clearly showed two entrances: 

A one-way arrow at the top of the U leading to Lion Castle Hotel, and another at the bottom leading back to Magic Century Theme Park. 

There would also be ground-level entrances and exits in both parks, allowing guests to disembark at any time. 

"Is this technically feasible?" 

Jamie asked. 

"It is." 

The amusement project manager nodded confidently. 

"Actually, when we were building Magic Century Theme Park, I had the idea of constructing a U-shaped Ferris wheel within the park." 

"But for a single park, that design wasn't necessary, and the construction and technical costs were too high, so we scrapped it." 

"But if it's a project connecting two parks, I think it's definitely worth considering!!" 

The amusement project manager grew more excited as he spoke. 

"If possible, I can visit Lion Castle Hotel to assess the site and make some design adjustments to the Ferris wheel." 

Jamie nodded. "Does anyone else have thoughts?" 

"Boss, this kind of collaboration is too costly." 

The finance department head spoke gravely. 

"There are many ways to collaborate. We don't need to go with such a resource-draining approach." 

"We could consider joint events, co-branded merchandise, or mutually beneficial pricing packages." 

"Also," 

The finance department head leaned forward, his gaze firm. 

"If they propose building a roller coaster, and we follow up with a Ferris wheel, aren't we just letting them lead us by the nose?" 

"Besides, Magic Century Theme Park has only been open for a short time. Right now, we should be focusing on attracting visitors and stabilizing our revenue." 

"Starting a major construction project now is simply not appropriate!" 

"I think we can discuss collaboration, but building a Ferris wheel is not the way to go." 

Before he could finish, the amusement project manager interjected: 

"And what if our neighbor actually builds the roller coaster?" 

"What do we do then?" 

The finance department head shook his head: "I stand by my point. There are many ways to collaborate. We should be cautious with such large-scale projects."
