All year round, furious winds rage and gloomy clouds linger.

No vegetation grows on the mountain; the stones bear marks as if chiselled by the wind's blades.

An unsightly Taoist arrived at the mountainside, descended from his flight spell, and sent a message towards the Black Wind Cave.

Bai Suixin saw a black-robed Taoist seated on a cloud platform, he cupped his hands with a smile and said, "Daoist friend, your divine skills have become incredibly extraordinary, such that even my transformation technique could not escape your eyes, even a Divine Transformation Heavenly Monarch could be fooled by it to some extent."

The ugly Taoist was one of Bai Suixin's many disguises, used more than a decade ago to deceive the Hundred-Eyes Demon Lord on Yellow Flower Mountain.

Similar transformations included the land god of Spirit Spring City, Flying Cloud Mountain God, Black Tiger Demon Monarch, Old Ancestor Xuan Stone and so on; he used different identities for different occasions, never considering that today he would be exposed.

"I've just perfected a divine skill by chance and managed to discern your aura," said the Black Wind Demon Monarch, not hiding his vigilance on his face. Someone showing their face but hiding their tail was surely up to no good, he asked, "May I know why Daoist Bai has come today?"

Bai Suixin said, "Have you heard that Hundred-Eyes Demon Monarch was captured by those nosy priests of the Repair Heaven Sect and subjected to extreme humiliation and torture, with his dancing and singing images being distributed everywhere?"

"I have heard something of the sort."

The Black Wind Demon Monarch sighed and said, "I advised him back then not to provoke the Repair Heaven Sect, but he was obsessed with that young Daoist's looks, and eventually, he met his fate!"

Bai Suixin asked, "As a close friend of the Demon Monarch, would you be willing to take revenge for him?"

"The Repair Heaven Sect, how could we mere ants dare to provoke it?"

The Black Wind Demon Monarch shook his head and said, "With my limited power, I can only burn more paper money for him, that's all."

"That is truly a pity. It's said that when the Demon Monarch met his doom, he said to the people of Repair Heaven Sect, 'After my death, Black Wind will surely seek revenge for me.'

Bai Suixin had anticipated this response, knowing well the heartlessness and ruthlessness of demon cultivators, and that the Black Wind Demon Monarch wouldn't risk taking revenge; he half-truthfully said, "It was indeed his heartfelt words, I came to inform you about it."

The Black Wind Demon Monarch wiped away his tears, smiled and said, "After Divinity Transformation, the path of cultivation is fraught with insurmountable difficulties; the realm of returning to the void is less than a one in ten thousand hope!"

Bai Suixin asked in surprise, "Why is that?"
