Class: Hikari Kenshi – Radiant Samurai (Blessing: Light) (Soul-Tamed Status: Link Logan Aiden)
Level: 79 / Health: 783 / Mana: 861
Strength: 108 / Agility: 95 / Dexterity: 90 / Constitution: 70 / Intelligence: 71 / Charisma: 76

[Skills:]
Shōmetsu Iai – Vanishing Draw: A blindingly fast Iaijutsu strike that teleports Ren a short distance and slashes through his target. Critical hit chance doubled if used from neutral stance.
Hikari no Sen – Lightline Severance: Channels radiant energy into a focused sword arc that travels in a line, slicing through enemies and dispelling low-rank illusions or concealment.
Kensei no Tate – Blade Ward: A defensive stance that absorbs the next incoming attack and counters with a sweeping strike. Bonus damage if triggered by a ranged or magic attack.
Zanzō Kaiten – Afterimage Spin: Spins forward with a blurring step, leaving behind a phantom trail that explodes after a delay. Enemies caught in both strikes take bonus damage.
Enjin – Flame Ring Step: Summons a glowing ring of energy under Ren's feet. For 6 seconds, all of Ren's movement generates slashes of light, and his dodges leave behind burning trails.
Gensa Jutsu – Specter Chains (Shared with Yui): Immobilizes a target from the shadows for 3 seconds. Prevents teleportation or movement. Must be within 25 meters of Yui.
Kagegiri no Ken! – Twin Secret Technique: Combines Yui's shadow strike with Ren's radiant slash in a pincer attack. Must be within 30 meters of Yui. Stuns the target briefly and inflicts internal damage bypassing physical defense.
Ikari no Hōten – Skyfall Vow: A charged overhead strike that rains light upon a large area. The longer it's charged, the more damage it deals and the more enemies it can pierce.

[Abilities:]
Kensei no Kokoroe – Heart of the Sword Saint: Grants bonus precision, reduces sword technique cooldowns by 10%, and increases agility when facing multiple enemies.
Hikari Shibari no Keiyaku – Lightbound Pact: Legendary soul-bond ability. Ren can temporarily draw radiant energy from Logan or Yui, boosting damage and resistance against dark-aligned foes. When fighting alongside a soul-linked ally, Ren's movement speed and crit rate increase.
Way of the Twin Blades (Passive): When fighting in tandem with Yui, all dual attacks have 10% increased power and shared stealth detection.

"As you can see, it's mainly blade-based skills. There are two that work better when my sister is nearby, but I think you can bypass that. The important thing here is your stance. If it's wrong, your damage drops by a good percentage," Ren explained, trying his best to answer Logan's questions despite the clear fatigue in his voice. "I can practice with you later, help you get the proper form down. That'll help you hit max output."
Logan nodded thoughtfully.
"Alright, that's it for now. Have Ruben craft you a katana—I already gave him the specs for my personal blade. It should suit you just fine," Ren added, already turning away. "Now I need food… and sleep."
He didn't wait for a response.
"Hey, Logan." Yui stepped forward, her voice soft. "Thanks for helping my brother. I hope we can talk more soon. I'm sorry we haven't really made time to see each other lately…"
There was a touch of rose on her cheeks.
"It's fine, Yui. Here." Logan raised a hand, casting a pair of gentle recovery spells—one to ease her mana fatigue, the other to soothe her stamina. The soft light wrapped around her like a warm breeze.
"Rest better now," he said simply.
Yui gave a quiet nod and left with her brother.
It was nearing seven in the evening, and Logan found himself glancing at his terminal again.
Still no word from Lisa, or from Silvia either.
Not a single message.
He tried to remain calm, but the longer the silence stretched, the more unease crept into his thoughts. Something wasn't right.
Why were they taking so long?
Logan took his time walking back into the manor.
The place resembled a luxury hotel more than a private estate now. Most of the class had already claimed rooms across the sprawling wings of the mansion, making it more of a shared hub than his personal residence.
He wondered briefly how it ended up like this… then decided not to think too hard about it.
What mattered more was the lingering stench on his clothes.
Even now, he could smell traces of Murk's foul slime clinging to the fabric. It had soaked into his armor too—there was no salvaging it without a proper wash. A shower was long overdue.
As he stepped into the main hallway, he stopped.
Someone was waiting for him.
"No call? What's the point of having a terminal if you're not going to use it?" Lisa stood there, arms crossed, expression firm—but her glow betrayed her excitement.
"Ugh… well, I was kind of waiting for you to call me first," Logan replied, scratching the back of his neck. "Weren't you the one stuck in a temple with some godly spirit around while doing some hard core trial? Oh yeah and congrats on that I am proud of you."
"Fine, I'll give you that," Lisa sighed, then smiled. "And thank you, I should've said something as soon as I got out. But still—how do I look now?"
She spun in place, letting mana shimmer from her like dust on the wind. Each turn left behind a faint trail of light, a soft aura swirling around her with every movement.
Logan blinked.
"Well… you look a bit more like a fairy now," he said, half-joking. "At this rate, you'll glow so bright I won't be able to see you anymore—which is a shame, because you've somehow gotten even more beautiful."
He stepped closer—then stopped about a meter short.
"I'd love to get closer… but I really need a shower first. When I went into the labyrinth today, I ran into a new creature. Let's just say it wasn't exactly... fragrant."
He began recounting the day's events as he gestured for her to follow, leading her down the hall toward the bathing chambers.
