I’m an Absolute Villain

Chapter 6:

Chapter 6: Chu Fan’s Shot, To Challenge Di Tian!:

Di Tian’s calm exterior belied the heightened vigilance within as he observed the two sons of luck before him.

[Ding! Son of luck and Daughter of luck are detected. The host can now view their luck values!]

Hearing the system’s voice, Di Tian discreetly scanned the crowd.

[Son of luck, Chu Fan, luck value: 1000.]

[Son of luck, Ye Liuli, luck value: 1500.]

Comparing their high luck values to his former negative fifty, Di Tian felt a brief moment of frustration. Yet, his confidence in the villain system bolstered his resolve.

“From now on, your nightmares begin, son of luck and daughter of luck. No matter how things change, everything remains under my control,” he thought.

He addressed the audience. “Thank you for attending my coming-of-age ceremony.”

With that, he ascended to the high platform.

From the sky, Emperor Ba and Shangguan Immortal Yue descended, their expressions a mix of pride and heartache. Only they understood the heavy burden Di Tian carried and the challenges his demonic energy would bring in the future.

“Father, Mother,” Di Tian greeted them warmly, his admiration evident.

The Emperor spoke solemnly. “Today marks your coming-of-age ceremony and your formal birth into adulthood. With this, greater responsibilities await you. The Emperor Family depends on you to lead us forward.”

The Emperor’s declaration sent waves of shock through the audience. Many leaders stood from their seats, their expressions incredulous.

“Di Tian is the future heir of the Emperor Family?”

Di Tian nodded in acknowledgment.

Shangguan Immortal Yue smiled tenderly at her son. “Tian’er, now that you’re an adult, tell me—have you taken a liking to any young lady? Your mother is eager to hold a grandson.”

Di Tian froze momentarily. At only eighteen, he was already being urged to marry!

Among the audience, the leaders of various forces began considering which of their daughters might be suitable matches for Di Tian.

The ceremony progressed smoothly, and after several hours, it finally concluded.

The Holy Emperor Realm elder stepped forward. “As hosts, the Emperor Family has prepared a special event for everyone. Many outstanding young disciples from our family wish to showcase their skills in martial arts. Let us enjoy their performances!”

As he finished speaking, the elder vanished, and a vast arena, spanning ten thousand meters, materialized.

The crowd’s attention sharpened as their gazes turned toward the Ye Family’s group. Many anticipated the long-awaited confrontation between Ye Liuli and Di Tian.

Ye Liuli, feeling the weight of countless eyes, clenched her fists and prepared to step forward. However, another figure moved faster.

Chu Fan appeared in the arena, his demeanor calm and collected.

“My name is Chu Fan,” he began, his voice steady. “I am but a nobody, my cultivation unremarkable. It is a great honor to attend the coming-of-age ceremony of the Divine Son of the Emperor Family, a man I deeply admire.”

He bowed respectfully before continuing. “As a junior in the cultivation world, I humbly request the opportunity to challenge the Divine Son. I hope to learn from him and understand the gap between myself and such a peerless genius. May his guidance inspire me to strive harder in my cultivation journey.”

Chu Fan’s modest tone and demeanor earned him favorable impressions from many in the audience.

“The drunkard’s intention is not the wine,” someone whispered, suspecting Chu Fan’s true motives.

Chu Fan raised his voice. “Divine Son of the Emperor Family, may I humbly request your advice on cultivation?”

The elder of the Ye Family smirked subtly as he watched Di Tian from his seat.

Di Tian stood silently in the void, his gaze calm and unwavering. His lack of response only heightened the tension.

Chu Fan returned the stare, his eyes flickering with hidden emotions—playfulness, jealousy, and a trace of murderous intent.

Though Chu Fan thought he had masked his feelings well, the experts in attendance saw through him easily.

“Since a nobody dares challenge the Divine Son, allow me to entertain you,” a voice interrupted.

Another figure stepped into the arena.

“Who are you?” Chu Fan asked, startled.

“The Emperor Family, Di Hai,” the figure replied.

As Di Hai introduced himself, he unleashed his aura, revealing his cultivation at the intermediate Divine Ability Realm. The arena trembled under the weight of his energy.

Clenching his fists, Di Hai stared down Chu Fan. “If you want to challenge the Divine Son, you’ll have to get through me first!”

Di Tian remained expressionless, his composure unshaken. He understood that this match would end with Di Hai’s inevitable victory.

“I didn’t expect Di Hai to step in. And at the intermediate-Divine Ability Realm, no less. The Emperor Family truly hides many talents,” someone in the audience commented.

“How long do you think this Chu Fan can last against him?”

“I’d wager ten moves at most.”

In the arena, Chu Fan smirked. “Defeat me? I’ll settle this in three moves.”

Di Hai, angered by the arrogant claim, roared.

Activating his Spiritual Qi, he summoned a massive golden hand in the sky, radiating an overwhelming aura.

The hand descended with the force to obliterate everything in its path.

Chu Fan, however, remained calm. He drew a broken blade from his side—a weapon so worn it was covered in rust and iron filings.

The sight drew laughter from the audience.

“Is he serious? He brought out that trash?”

Despite the ridicule, Chu Fan’s expression remained indifferent.

“You fools,” he thought. “Laugh while you can. Soon, I’ll make sure you can’t laugh anymore.”

With a deep breath, Chu Fan swung his broken blade.

A hundred-meter-long arc of blade Qi erupted, its momentum earth-shattering. The golden hand summoned by Di Hai shattered instantly under the blade Qi’s power, which continued surging toward Di Hai, unrelenting.stunned everyone.
