He nodded at Fang Chen and the others before striding out of the teahouse.

Bu Qingchen sat on the ground with a dark expression. He seemed lost in thought.

"Just now, Zhu Kui called you Daoist Fang. Fang is your original surname, right? Daoist Fang, in that lifetime, my brother and I failed you. We couldn't stand by your side. I'm sorry to have let you suffer alone," said Bu Qingyu as she looked at Fang Chen apologetically.

Bu Qingchen snorted coldly. "We're not from the same era as him. There's no need to say so much. Let's go."

Fuming, he exited the teahouse without any lingering attachment.

Bu Qingyu sighed softly and followed him.
