In Danmachi with a juggernaut system

Alex walked up to the broken-down wagon, where three people of different sizes were standing: a man and woman who looked like a married couple and a child, a girl around the age of 3. The husband was trying to fix the wagon wheel that broke off while the wife was entertaining the small girl.

Alex came close and was spotted by the man as he got up and walked to Alex with a hopeful aspersion Alex stopped in front of the man as he began to speak, "Greetings stranger I am sorry to trouble you but I wanted to ask if you can assist my quick?"

Alex stared for a moment then the system acted and appeared on a blue screen.

"Help the farmer and his family"

Alex thought for a moment, mentally pressed ye, looked at the farmer, and spoke." Sure what can I help with names Alex Valthorin but you can just call me Alex by the way" Alex spoke and looked down at the man who was shorter than him with a toothy smile.

The farmer spoke with a relieved smile and a happy tone" That's great thank you Alex I am Darius Veldrin but you can also just call me Darius" As he spoke he waved his wife and daughter over and introduced them to Alex.

"This is my wife Selene and my sweet pie Lyra." He spoke with a loving smile then with a red face Lyra complained "Dad~ don't call me that!" Both the husband and wife including Alex laughed at that and Alex spoke "I see quite a loving family you have." Darius spoke once again" Thanks and the only thing I need help with is for you to lift the Wagon so that I can re-attach the wheel."

Alex thought then spoke, "Sure sooner the better if that is the case." Alex said and walked towards the wagon now just realizing how heavy this might be because the wagon was full of supplies and had no great support.

Alex took a deep breath preparing himself. Alex slipped him under the wood of the wagon and with a grunt, he lifted the wagon that should weigh a ton but it wasn't as heavy as Alex thought and it must have been the Greater strength race trait and so that was how it went for a few minutes Alex held up the wagon and the farmer installed the wheel when finished Alex let go of the wheel duo not as heavy as he had thought it was still quite heavy.

After letting go a ding sound was heard in his head and the system voice rang out, "You completed the task to help the farmer and his family you gained 20 Exp and +1 strength and Endurance.)

Alex was surprised and realized that doing training and not just the task gives rewards so he was very pleased to hear this and he went to talk to Darius to talk a bit and to get some info if possible, as he approached Darius spoke first< "Thanks again for the help didn't know what id do if you didn't show up." He smiled happily.

"No worries glad to help." After all, he remembered back to his past life when his mother and brother got stuck on the side of the road with a flat wheel but no one stopped to help his mother he was just little back then but he still remembered his mother's sad face knowing they would be stuck for a while and they had to sleep in the car at n9ight because they just had to get a flat tire where there was no signal.

Alex shook his head looked back at Darius and spoke "Anyway do you have any Idea how far Orario was from here?" Alex asked looking a bit hopeful trying to get a clear idea.

Darius smiled and replied, "Orario is about 2 days away just follow the road here and you`ll get there." He explained and as he was talking Lyra ran over and spoke with sparkling eyes looking at me, "Mister Wolf is very strong thank you for helping Daddy and us!" she spoke loudly and Alex couldn't help but remember he was not human anymore but demi human but Mister wolf this kid couldn't come up with a better nickname as Alex right eye twitched and tail flicked about.

Before Alex spoke the Framer reprimanded his daughter, "Sweet pie be nice and don't call others shush rude names." he spoke and the girl looked down embarrassed about her dad calling her sweet pie in front of the mister wolf.

Alex then spoke, "It's fine just a child's way of speaking besides little "sweet pie" is just thanking me" Alex joked and the little girl's face was red as a tomato from Alex calling her that nickname as well.

Darius laughed for a bit while his wife stood on the side with an amused smile while shaking her head.

Darius after done laughing spoke, "Well Alex we are about to head towards Orario as well do you care to join us on the journey you look like a skilled fight so you can take this as a thank you from us and we do require some help protecting the supplies and my family what do you say?" he asked Alex.

Alex replied with that toothy smile, "Of course, that would be nice and reasonable you gave me a ride and I protect your family and supplies." Alex spoke with a nod of his head and the family smiled at alex1s answer.

"Well we better get to it then," Darius spoke and got in front of the wagon and prepared to move while garbing the leash of the Ox that was dragging the wagon both his wife and daughter got in the back with Alex as they set off on the road.

8 hours went by like that with Alex and the farmer family talking about random things and joking a bit on the way, Alex had learned a few things while riding with them for he had learned that the timeline is where Bell just got into the Hestia's familial.

They came in front of a lake and started to set up camp while the wife and daughter got food ready and the husband set up camp Alex patrolled the area around the camp to make sure there was no trouble.

Alex and the happy family sat around the campfire at night and enjoyed their time, "Alex your love my wife great Beef vetoable stew." Darius Yelled with a joyous tone and Lyra nodded happily as well," Yeah mister wolf you're going love it mama bakes very tasty food!" The girl yelled on Alex`s side and my ears winced at the loud yell but smiled nonetheless.

"I`ll be looking forward to it then," Alex said but as he said that his ears twitched, and stood up Alex listened closely because his hyper-instinct hearing is far greater so he heard walking and rustling of bushes around them, Alex highly on guard looks at the farmer seriously and said," Take your family and clime that tree," Alex said and pointed at the tree,

As Alex said that he picked up his Mace and shield and got up seeing the look and the demeanor of Alex Darius decided that something was wrong took his family quickly and climbed the tree. While he was doing so 8 Grey wolves walked out of the shrubs and showed themselves realizing they had been caught.

Alex stood ready under the tree with his back to it so that the wolves couldn't flank him from behind the wife and daughter were scared when they saw the wolves and Darius was serious when they realized the situation just got bad.

Alex who was getting ready for the battle got a system message,

"Note host task updated to protect the Framers family and kill the wolves"

Reward: 20 Exp and a new skill beast killer.

Alex seeing this was determined to see this through and raised his shield in front of his chest and his mace above his head ready to swing at a moment's notice and in sticky growled and snarled at the wolves which provoked them to take action on the demi-human who dared snarl at them.

One wolf attacked from the right side and was bashed in the by Alex using the shield and a second wolf tried to take the chance to attack from the other side but was met with a mace smashing his head into the ground with a sicking crunch of his skull being smashed in spilling brain matter and blood.

Alex who was done killing his first wolf shield bashed the other wolf sending it back near the others of its pack, 3 wolves took charge and attacked at once trying to overwhelm him from different sides, Alex used his shield to knock away one and swing his mace hitting the other breaking its front leg where its shoulder was connected but the 3rd one bit Alex`s left calve sinking its teeth into Alex's skin drawing a bit of blood,

Alex quickly smashed the head of the wolf that bit him killing it similar to the first wolf and head-butted the 1st wolf that was blocked by his shield stunning it for a moment Alex to the chance and attacked, Swinging his mace and crushed the wolf's rib cage killing it in the prosses. 

Alex had killed 2 wolves and injured 2 more and now the 4 other remaining wolves all attacked at once charging Alex, But Alex decided to start going on the offensive and raised his shield charge as well smashing into the remaining wolves sending both Him and the wolves sprawling all over.

Alex quickly got up and smashed in one of the downed wolf heads killing it and swinging at another one breaking the wolf's spine and leaving it unmovable and whimpering in pain the other 2 wolves got up and attacked Alex once again they were not desperate to take Alex down but Alex didn't and garb his shield bashing one to the side and throwing the other over his head and attack the one that the through over his head.

Alex Screamed as he charged killing it by destroying its ribcage and sending the wolf to fly back, Alex then turned to the last 3 wolves the one good one started to run away other 2 injured once tried as well but the the one could only limp away slowly and the other dizzy from his head being bashed kept falling over.

Alex quickly grabbed a pitchfork that lay on the side of the wagon and hurled it at the wolf running away it struck the wolf in his rear causing it to stubble and fall on the ground howling in pain and being unable to get back up.

Alex ran towards the wolf limping away and raised his mace the wolf tried to fight back but was too slow and followed the rest of the pack with its head smashed in Alex went to the dizzy wolf doing the same and slowly walked towards the one with a pitchfork in its back Alex at this point was tired and breathing heavily this fight lasted for 30 minutes.

Alex stood above the last remaining wolf that was howling in pain and Alex put it out of its misery with a crunch the battle was over with Alex standing covered in blood and brain matter with corpses of wolves lying around the camp the family who were hiding in the tree staring at the scene with wide eyes and quickly got down rushed at Alex.

Lyra ran and hugged Alex without caring about the blood and Brain matter, "Mister wolf are you ok are you hurt anywhere!" she screamed panic and worry on her face and all Alex thought about was that she was a strong caring girl it reminded him of his mother and so Alex smiled at her still breathing a bit heavily duo better and told her, " I am quite fine thank you."

"B-but one of them bit your leg!" She screamed but her mother spoke, "Sweetie give him some space and Alex lay down so we can take a look at that wound." Alex complied and sat down but did not lie down and rested then as his head got straight from the blood pumping in his brain he heard a ding and then a voice.

"Host has completed the task Rewards have now been acquired"
