In HxH with Doraemon Pocket

Chapter 284

Yoo, I'm back. I was on vacation for the past 14 days, so don't blame me guys ;p

Kurapika clenched his fists tightly. "Since I've chosen this path, there's no turning back!!!"

"The only thing I can do is to unwaveringly continue down this road!!"

His eyes, hidden beneath colored contact lenses, turned a vibrant scarlet!!

Immediately, he grabbed a map he had prepared nearby and, through Kalluto's control of the Ten Dons, began deploying forces strategically.

Meanwhile, inside the abandoned building.

"The mafia actually found our location."

On the balcony, looking through the window, the remaining eleven members gazed at the scene outside.

"Quite a spectacle, isn't it?"

Phinks whistled, a cruel smile spreading across his eyebrow-less face.

"They really haven't learned their lesson."

Franklin shook his head, exasperated by the mafia's inability to remember past defeats.

"Is this the mafia? Besides sheer numbers, they don't seem impressive!"

Pakunoda glanced over, offering her opinion.

"A swarm of ants can be quite annoying indeed."

Kortopi added, "I hate ants, even more so the mafia."

"After playing mahjong for so long and sitting around, it's time to stretch a bit." Shalnark stretched his arms, yawning lazily.

"Coming all this way to die, they've really gone to great lengths."

Feitan squinted at the crowd below, his fingers rubbing together instinctively.

"With so much firepower, it looks like I'll need a new set of bandages and boxing gloves."

Bonolenov was already planning his post-battle gear, not giving the shouting mafia below a second thought.

"It reminds me of the scene in the desert a few days ago, where many mafia members came to cause trouble."

Nobunaga stroked his unkempt chin. "But it wasn't as grand as this."

"Yeah, it feels like history repeating itself, only in a more intense version."

Machi nodded, then furrowed her brows.

"But I feel like there's an unknown secret behind the mafia's agitation."

"How did they know our base was here? And how did they gather so quickly, filled with such intense anger and resentment towards us?"

"Even if we did intercept their auction items and killed many of them, there's no reason for them to be this furious, right?"

"What on earth is going on?"

"Who cares!!"

Uvogin raised his arm and shouted:

"Since they're so eager to die, we can't disappoint them, can we?"

His eyes glimmered with impatient excitement, "Finally, a chance to really let loose!!!" Uvogin laughed heartily and, as everyone was readying themselves, was the first to leap off the high platform.

"Against the world's mafia? No, today I'll crush them all!!!"

His arrogant laughter echoed across the entire area.

"This guy..."

The others shook their heads, and Phinks, eager to join in, jumped out too:

"Wait for me, Uvogin!!!"

As a fellow Enhancer, he couldn't resist such a scene.

The thrill of being surrounded by enemies, feeling the excitement coursing through their bodies and cells, was something they craved deep down.

"I'm coming too, you two idiots, don't rush!!"

The last Enhancer in the troupe, Nobunaga, also jumped down.

At the same time, Uvogin had already landed and was once again in full rampage mode.

"These three..."

The others were slightly exasperated by them.

"Shouldn't we report this to the boss first?"

Shalnark looked up at Franklin.

"No, it's just a bunch of mafia."

Feitan tucked his hands back into his cloak. "If we have to report every little thing like this to the boss..."

"Then we'd be pretty useless."

Swoosh!!

His ghostly figure seemed to vanish instantly.

At an incredible speed, he charged into the crowd below.

In an instant, he had already taken several heads.

"I'm not going down there."

Uvogin and Nobunaga were all about close combat, while Franklin, being a long-range attacker, moved his massive form to the balcony.

All ten of his fingers detached.

Rat-a-tat-tat!!!

---

The fierce barrage of Nen bullets continuously spewed firepower downward. For the mafia, Franklin's long-range attacks were perhaps the most challenging to withstand.

In no time, many fell under Franklin's relentless assault. In just a few moments, Franklin had claimed more lives than Uvogin and the others combined.

"After sitting for so long, we really do need to stretch our muscles, or else we'll rust," Shalnark chuckled.

"With a group coming to entertain us, we can't let their good intentions go to waste," he said, pulling out his phone, "Accompanying Someone Else's Destiny."

"What about this guy?" Kortopi pointed to Hisoka beside them. "Do we still need someone to keep an eye on him?"

"No need for that," Hisoka laughed, "The mafia attacking below treats everyone in this abandoned building as Phantom Troupe allies. I doubt I have any special privilege to be spared by them."

"Then let's send him down to fight the mafia," Machi suggested. "Kortopi, your abilities aren't suited for battle. Keep an eye on Hisoka's movements."

"If he makes even the slightest move, call the boss immediately."

"If you can't reach the boss, there's still Morin~" Machi said, placing a metaphorical restriction on Hisoka.

"Don't worry, I won't do anything foolish," Hisoka replied, his crimson tongue lightly licking his lips. With a slight push from his toes, he descended.

Out of everyone's sight, his grin widened maniacally. "Foolish? Heh, as long as I can fight you, Chrollo, nothing else matters!!"

"I'm coming for you, Chrollo!!!" As he descended, Hisoka glanced at a specific spot where Illumi's figure briefly appeared.

Besides Hisoka, the others also joined the fray, turning the scene into a grand slaughter fest.

In the original scenario, Chrollo orchestrated chaos to play a requiem for the fallen Uvogin. The Phantom Troupe members decimated most of the mafia in a single night.

This time, the entire city's mafia had gathered to confront the Phantom Troupe, mirroring the original chaos.

However, this time, the chaos wasn't in the city but in this remote, abandoned building. The mafia's concentration made the devastation even more severe.

Amidst the chaos, countless mafia soldiers in black suits wielded knives, guns, rocket launchers, and grenades. Some even brought armored vehicles. It was a veritable meat grinder.

Kortopi, the only Phantom Troupe member not participating, kept a constant watch on Hisoka.

But the sheer number of mafia made it difficult. Even with Hisoka's distinctive outfit, a few mafia members could easily block Kortopi's view, giving Hisoka a few seconds out of sight.

When Hisoka reappeared moments later, Kortopi put down his phone. "Looks like everything's going smoothly?"

Disguised as Hisoka using Nen needles, Illumi helped Hisoka pull off a switcheroo. Amidst the mafia swarm, Illumi familiarized himself with card-based killing techniques, trying to mimic Hisoka as accurately as possible.

Outside the battle zone, Kurapika observed the situation through binoculars. A gentle breeze blew by.

"Pleasure doing business," a voice whispered in Kurapika's ear, accompanied by the sound of a black suit flapping in the wind. Beneath a black hat, Hisoka chuckled as he left Kurapika with those words before disappearing into the distance.

"The eyes of your tribe, I'll tell you about them after this incident," Hisoka's voice, restrained yet filled with excitement and madness, echoed in Kurapika's ear.

Kurapika didn't turn or watch Hisoka leave. As if nothing had happened, he continued to observe the situation, knowing his task was complete. Now, he could simply watch events unfold without further involvement.

Elsewhere, Hisoka sprinted at full speed. Even while moving, he didn't forget to make a call, finalizing his plans.

"Wait for me, Chrollo. Soon, we'll have a meeting like no other."
