Chapter 287

Feeling like the game was already in the bag and with almost no issues, Milluki relaxed and indulged in a culinary exploration within Yorknew City.

He sought out those eateries with exceptional flavors and stellar reputations to satisfy his gastronomic cravings.

His physique was a testament to the fact that when it came to food, he never shortchanged his taste buds.

The fame of this particular restaurant was something Milluki had discovered online, boasting high praise and an impressive rate of repeat customers.

Thus, he made a special trip there today to feast to his heart's content.

The meal left him extremely satisfied. The flavors were truly impeccable, with a variety of dishes that were quite impressive.

Most satisfying of all were the teas, especially the milk tea, fruit tea, and floral tea, which were simply extraordinary.

He drank several cups of each, filling his belly to the brim.

Then, as he was about to leave, feeling content and at ease, he encountered his fifth brother and great-grandfather at the entrance.

"So, you came here to discuss business over milk tea?!" Milluki asked incredulously after hearing Kalluto's explanation.

"So, Grandpa visited this place a hundred years ago, and it's truly a century-old establishment?! No wonder!!"

Milluki clapped his hands together, "I was wondering why the food here suited my taste so well, and the milk tea was phenomenal!! Especially the milk tea made from Soumilit sheep's milk, the flavor is simply divine."

Slurp!!

Just thinking about it made Milluki's mouth water uncontrollably.

Kalluto: "…Is that really the key point I was trying to make?!"

He looked at his second brother with a bit of exasperation. Despite Milluki's sharp and clever mind, arguably the smartest in the family, he sometimes missed the point entirely.

If you asked Killua, Illumi, Silva, and Zeno to solve math and physics problems, they might not only fail but might also offer you a "Limitation" assassination package.

Yet Milluki could solve them. From geography and astronomy to physics, mathematics, and even programming, he was a master.

His knowledge even spanned biology, mechanics, and other specialized fields. A

fter all, he was capable of creating numerous inventions and hacking into the Hunter Association's official website, making him the most academically gifted in the Zoldyck family.

So, don't be fooled by his chubby appearance; he's far from useless. Although Killua often disrespects Milluki by calling him a fat pig, it's merely a jab at his physique.

If anything significant happened in the Zoldyck family, they would have to rely on Milluki.

When Killua wanted to take Alluka away, everyone gathered around Milluki, who was in charge of surveillance and computers.

During the pursuit of Killua, he even accepted a commission from his eldest brother Illumi to hack into Sub's glasses and secretly provide information for Illumi.

In essence, if the Zoldyck family needed to handle anything other than assassination, Milluki was the first person they would think of.

However, despite being such a smart and reliable man, he sometimes had a tendency to lose focus. This was Zeno's evaluation of Milluki, which Kalluto found quite accurate.

"If Second Brother could slim down and learn Nen, undergoing the Zoldyck family's rigorous training, he might become an even more outstanding assassin than Dad."

"Unfortunately…" Kalluto thought, shaking his head internally, knowing Milluki's character all too well.

"Wow, wow, wow, I didn't expect little Milluki to have such discerning taste, choosing this place too," Maha's eyes narrowed into a line, seeing his descendant share the same fondness for the sheep's milk.

"Great-grandfather!!" Milluki quickly bowed and greeted, not daring to show any disrespect.

"Since you've already eaten your fill, you must have a good understanding of the menu here," Maha chuckled.

"This old man hasn't been here in a long time and isn't sure about the changes inside. Could you introduce us to the dishes and teas here, Milluki?"

"No problem, Great-grandfather!!" Milluki's spirits lifted at the mention of food, and he straightened up immediately. "Leave it to me, I'll handle it!!"

He patted his chest confidently, his eyes gleaming with such extreme confidence that even Kalluto found it dazzling.

Kalluto: "…Why are you so confident about this?!!!"

With Kalluto unsure how to respond and Maha smiling like a blooming chrysanthemum, Milluki led the way back inside, opening the door with a standard welcoming gesture.

Kalluto: "…You're surprisingly adept at this!"

Why don't you show the same seriousness and professionalism in assassination work?!

"He's quite a character," Morin remarked, watching Milluki enthusiastically extolling the virtues of various dishes and teas to Maha, finding it rather amusing.

---

Milluki's intelligence is undoubtedly world-class; Morin doesn't need to provide further examples.

However, it's clear that Milluki has taken a different path, or perhaps his personality and lifestyle have led him to squander his talents.

He's deeply immersed in the world of anime, addicted to snacks and gourmet food, and with no lack of money, he's fed himself into a round shape.

Yet, even in his current form, Milluki doesn't look bad.

The Zoldyck family is known for their handsome features, and despite Milluki's face being as round as a ball, his delicate features are still discernible.

Every chubby person is a potential goldmine. This phrase fits Milluki perfectly.

Togashi, the creator, even drew a version of Milluki slimmed down, and his appearance was comparable to Levi, perhaps even more delicate.

If Milluki were to lose weight, he might become the most handsome member of the Zoldyck family, possibly even altering the "Three Beauties" of the Hunter world.

Morin appreciates Milluki, seeing him as an unpolished gem. This might stem from Morin's habit of mentoring many apprentices, developing a tendency to teach talented individuals.

Seeing someone with such innate talent makes his hands itch to guide them. However, despite Milluki's exceptional talent, Morin has no intention of taking him under his wing for training.

Firstly, both Kastro and Luzluth have a pressing need for strength. Kastro desires to become the world's strongest fighter, while Luzluth needs power for survival in his environment.

Even though Luzluth was initially reluctant to accept Morin's guidance, he eventually found it invaluable. Milluki, on the other hand, has no desire or ambition to become stronger. He lacks the drive in that direction.

What Milluki wants is to enjoy food and drinks, surf the internet, and spend delightful days in his room with his beloved figurines.

Occasionally, he dabbles in research and creates inventions that interest him, living a pleasant and fulfilling life. His lifestyle may seem simple, but to Milluki, it's rich and engaging.

He enjoys this way of living and strongly resists any form of training.

This is why, despite being in the world's most renowned assassin family, the Zoldycks, Milluki maintains an unconventional physique.

At his age, he hasn't even developed his Nen abilities. Or perhaps he has been given the opportunity to learn Nen but chooses not to.

This led to him being easily injured by Killua during his escape from the family a year ago.

When Killua, influenced by Illumi, returned from the Hunter Association, Milluki attempted to punish him by hanging him up and whipping him, though Killua remarked that the whipping was so weak it was putting him to sleep.

This incident highlights Milluki's lack of combat prowess. He might be the weakest on Kukuroo Mountain, aside from the family butlers and guards.

Even the apprentice butler, Canary, might be able to take him down. However, Milluki doesn't seem to care much about this.

He never viewed strength as something he needed to possess.

His steadfast belief is so strong that even an organization like the Zoldyck family couldn't sway him, leaving them exasperated and allowing him to live as he wishes to this day.

Morin doesn't feel he has the right or authority to disrupt Milluki's life.

Moreover, if Milluki's own family couldn't change his mindset, Morin doesn't believe he, as an outsider, could make a difference.

Even if Milluki's talents are wasted, it's his choice to do so. It's not that Milluki is unaware of his potential; he certainly knows.

But he simply doesn't want to train, especially after realizing he could still accomplish assassinations through scientific means.

If he can achieve his goals with gadgets, why bother with strenuous training?

Those who prefer using their brains often dislike physical exertion. This isn't true for everyone, but it is for many.

Morin's impression of Milluki is quite positive, particularly because of the incident where Milluki whipped Killua.

He wasn't doing it for personal satisfaction but was angry that Killua had also injured their mother.

Milluki is very filial and fun-loving, which can be seen as endearing. Filial piety is a virtue, reflecting his true character.

This was Morin's first meeting with Milluki. While Morin knew of Milluki, the latter hadn't really seen Morin before.

But since he was invited by his great-grandfather for a milk tea gathering, Milluki certainly wouldn't be neglectful.

He courteously invited Morin to sit down. He specifically requested a private room at the restaurant and ordered their top signature dishes.

Naturally, he insisted on treating them. After all, it wouldn't be right for his great-grandfather or the guest to pay;

it's an opportunity for the younger generation to express their hospitality.

As for Kalluto~
