Chapter 87: Chapter 87: The Bigger, the Stronger?
In the Pokémon Home, Ryo sat on the couch and spoke to Naruto and the others. "Naruto, you guys don't need to help out this afternoon. You can either train with Shirona in the back or go back to your own training. Thanks for your help these past two days."
"Huh?"
Naruto frowned. "Big bro Ryo, are you trying to kick us out?"
Sakura and Sasuke also turned to look at Ryo.
Rolling his eyes, Ryo replied, "What are you saying? The shop can handle itself now, and you all have things to do. I don't want to take up too much of your time."
"Of course, I'll keep my promise. Whenever you want to learn more about Pokémon, just come over."
Over the past two days, the methods and rules for catching Pokémon had already spread.
Visitors weren't asking as many questions anymore and were going straight to buy Poké Balls before heading inside.
Even with only one person manning the store, things were running smoothly.
Hearing this, Naruto and the others nodded.
Seeing that, Ryo stood up. "Alright, Gardevoir should be almost done with the food. Let's go eat first."
Gardevoir truly lived up to its reputation as the ultimate caring Pokémon. Ryo had never asked it to cook, yet it had learned on its own and taken on the task willingly.
And whether it was due to natural talent or something else, its cooking turned out to be far better than Ryo's.
So, the job was given to Gardevoir, and it gladly accepted the responsibility.
Hearing this, Naruto and the others also stood up and followed Ryo to the back.
At first, they had been shocked that Gardevoir could cook.
But after experiencing it, they had gotten used to it—though they still couldn't help but feel a little envious.
Beautiful, powerful, caring, and a great cook—who wouldn't be jealous?

Meanwhile, at the back mountain, Zabuza and Haku were still searching for a Pokémon to capture.
"Lord Zabuza, aren't we going to catch one?"
Seeing that Zabuza hadn't made a move yet, Haku asked in confusion.
Zabuza shook his head. "No rush. There are so many kinds, and some are definitely stronger than others. Since we're here, we might as well get a powerful one. That little Bagon from earlier looked weak—it's not what I'm after."
Haku nodded. "I see."
Zabuza continued, "Let's go. We'll check over there."
With that, the two moved deeper into the dense forest.
Not long after stepping inside, they suddenly heard a disturbance behind them.
Immediately, their expressions turned serious, and they spun around quickly.
A strange creature charged at them—it was covered in fur that completely obscured its eyes.
Zabuza frowned slightly.
This was the first time he had seen a Pokémon actively attack.
He instinctively prepared to counter.
Although Naruto had explained that Pokémon weren't to be harmed, since this one was attacking first, Zabuza wasn't about to just take the hit.
At the same time, he warned Haku. "Be careful. Looks like some of these creatures aren't so friendly."
Haku nodded, becoming more alert as he prepared for a fight.
However, before they could react, the charging Pokémon suddenly came to an abrupt stop, skidding across the ground.
It then stared at them with a disappointed expression.
Zabuza and Haku were both stunned.
What's going on with this Pokémon?
A moment later, Haku had a realization and turned to Zabuza. "Lord Zabuza… do you think it wants us to capture it?"
Zabuza stroked his chin and nodded. "That's possible. Let's take a look first."
He pulled out the Pokédex and scanned the creature.
After checking the data, Zabuza shook his head slightly. "Another Dragon-type, huh?"
Haku had also seen the information and asked, "Are we not catching it? Deino seems stronger than Bagon."
Zabuza shook his head. "No need. Let's keep looking. These Dragon-types seem flashy but might not be that strong."
Haku didn't argue and simply nodded.
After making his decision, Zabuza looked back at Deino. "Go on, I'm not catching you. If you want someone to take you in, get stronger first."
With that, he turned and walked deeper into the forest with Haku.
Deino tilted its head in confusion.
What was that all about?
All it had wanted to do was scare them a little.
Where did all that extra talk come from?
If it could speak, it would have cursed them out already.
Rolling its eyes, it lost all interest in messing around and walked off in another direction.
Zabuza, watching from the corner of his eye, sighed. "Ugh… being too popular with Pokémon is such a hassle. Haku, let's hurry up and find one worth catching."
Haku, hearing this, suddenly felt speechless but nodded and picked up the pace.
Shortly after, they heard loud thudding sounds nearby.
Zabuza turned toward the noise, intrigued. "Let's check that out."
With such a commotion, it had to be a strong Pokémon.
Before Haku could respond, Zabuza rushed ahead, forcing Haku to sigh and follow.
Soon, they reached a clearing.
In the open space, they saw a large, armored rhinoceros charging around wildly. The ground trembled with each step, creating a thunderous sound.
Zabuza's eyes lit up, and a grin spread across his face.
Haku, seeing his reaction, asked, "Lord Zabuza, are you planning to catch this one?"
Zabuza nodded. "Yes. If just walking around makes this much noise, its power must be incredible. Even Kakashi's Pokémon are small but strong. This one is huge—it must be even stronger."
Haku nodded in agreement.
It made sense—bigger meant stronger.
Zabuza then said, "Alright, let's go. This one is much better than the two we saw earlier. Judging by the Pokémon we've encountered so far, we probably won't find anything stronger than this."
With that, he stepped forward.
Haku followed without hesitation.
