Chapter 300: 300: There’s a Story Between Them!
Orson shook his head lightly and reached for another black box. "The divine item: Hell Gate Demon King's Treasure Chest."
The item feedback confirmed it was another exclusive item. It was likely something Usher had dropped.
Orson rested his chin in his hand and thought for a moment, mumbling to himself, "If I can't use it... I could always auction it off, sell it back to them. Being the good guy doesn't seem so bad after all."
He then picked up a fragment of a copper mirror, a cold smirk forming on his face. "This crazy woman really can't stay honest. She almost ruined my plans."
The shard in his hand was the Broken True Sutra Mirror fragment, which Naoko had been dreaming of.
Naoko had taken a dangerous gamble and nearly messed up his plans. If she had been unlucky and killed in the dungeon, Usher and the others might still be alive right now.
The Celestial Fortress' main cannon had fired blindly at the Abyssal Rift, and no one could predict where Hellfire Burn would hit. Only the God-Emperor Earrings could guide the shot to the chaotic area where Usher and the others were fighting.
Of course, even if the fire-type Forbidden Curse hadn't killed everyone, with Orson and Naoko working together, they would still be able to wipe them out. But it was likely some of them would escape—these people weren't amateurs. Each had multiple hidden cards and were all far too cunning.
"Wait a minute, where's my Soul Seal?"
Orson's eyes sharpened. After collecting all the loot, he suddenly realized the pile of Celestial Soul Seals was missing!
He also couldn't find the Holy Artifact Statue of the Elven Queen.
Something wasn't right.
Orson furrowed his brows and scanned the surroundings. Oddly, there was no Light Holy Stone, the artifact Snow Dream had obtained from her wish earlier.
Suddenly—whoosh!
A strong wind gusted through the air, and a massive eight-winged archangel holding the near-divine item Tears of Heaven shot towards a spatial rift.
Doom Dragon Breath!
The Crimson Lizard King roared, unleashing a black flame pillar that hit the eight-winged angel directly. The angel staggered in the air, almost crashing to the ground.
However, it didn't stop. With scorched wings, it continued to fly rapidly toward the rift.
"You think I'll let you go?" Orson's expression darkened as he finally recognized the angel's face.
"Someone's still alive? Damn! Talk about getting slapped in the face!"
The live stream viewers were stunned. Bradley's eyes widened as he stared at the angel, who looked somewhat familiar.
It was Snow Dream, Orson's very own disciple!
Ride Donkey: "Holy shit! There's a story between those two!"
Bradley's eyes went wide. "That's what you call an incident!"
The group exchanged glances, ready to gossip further, but just then, someone abruptly cut off the live stream.
This sent the Godslayer crew into a frenzy of curses.
Orson closed the live stream. The novice staff floated before him as his hands swiftly came together. "Earthquake!"
A stone dragon, like an iron whip, smashed down. Snow Dream swung her Holy Light to shatter the stone dragon.
"Wind God's Sigh!"
"Ice Prison Ring!"
Orson quickly cast two slowing spells in quick succession.
Snow Dream raised the Tears of Heaven, its faint holy light expanding, forcing the slow and freeze effects to dispel.
"Face me! Snow Dream!" Orson roared, his anger surging like a tidal wave.
He realized what allowed Snow Dream to survive. This woman had an uncanny ability to adapt. When the Hellfire approached, she had quickly grabbed the Statue of the Elven Queen, activating her undying spirit form for a short time, rendering her nearly invincible.
She had used Tears of Heaven's S-rank dispel magic to block the Heaven Burn effect, which was the only reason she had made it this far.
From the very beginning of the fight, she'd already planned her retreat.
Snow Dream glanced back, her face cold, silent as she continued to flee.
Even though she had sacrificed her followers to gain the Domain Lord-Class attributes, she still wouldn't dare to face Orson head-on. No one knew better than Snow Dream how strong her teacher was—even if he was only wearing beginner gear!
"I said, face me!" Orson barked, activating Whisper of the Wind. A Chaos Magic Ball appeared before him, forming an impenetrable net of force.
Crit: -130,000!
Burning: -19,000!
Despite the near-divine item aiding her, which allowed for brief dispels of control effects, the slowing effect of the Chaos Magic Ball still had some impact.
The chaotic mist enveloped her, slowing her flight.
A roar erupted, and the Holy Light Silver Dragon shot out of the rift, charging toward Orson in an attempt to forcibly cover Snow Dream's escape.
"Kill it, Number One."
Orson's voice was cold as he commanded, and the Crimson Lizard King's bloodshot eyes flared with rage. It charged forward!
With a swift strike, the Lizard King's claws dug into the Silver Dragon's back, opening its massive jaws and biting down to tear into it.
The Silver Dragon screamed, twisting in the air to retaliate with a blast of dragon breath.
The Crimson Lizard King's eyes flashed with disdain. Its ancient will awakened as it dodged the Holy Light Dragon Breath, claws sinking deep into the Silver Dragon's neck.
Facing an opponent of only level 40, the Crimson Lizard King could easily crush it with raw strength.
The Lizard King's claws slashed down, leaving the Silver Dragon screaming in agony, its flesh torn to pieces, blood spraying everywhere.
The Silver Dragon raised its claws to counter, but the Lizard King bit down hard, ripping it apart in moments, chewing it savagely!
Opening its mouth again, it unleashed a Doom Dragon Breath that sent the Silver Dragon crashing to the ground.
Critical Hit: -1,500,000!
Fatal Blow: -4,000,000!
"It's just a low-level holy dragon, don't waste time on it," Orson muttered coldly.

Blazing Meteor Shower!
The Crimson Lizard King, restraining itself from finishing off the Silver Dragon, spread its wings wide and launched a storm of fire meteors toward the fleeing Snow Dream.
Snow Dream frowned, gripping the Holy Light Sword and slashing wildly, but despite her efforts, the slowing effect of the Chaos Magic Ball still caused her to be hit by the fiery meteors.
Orson took a deep breath. The Chaos Star symbol glowed, and the wind goddess's figure materialized.
"Awaken—Hurricane Spear!"
With a flash, Snow Dream's shoulder was struck heavily. She crashed to the ground, the mountain shaking as dust flew everywhere.
Orson, riding the Crimson Lizard King, flew close again, circling above Snow Dream, but he didn't finish her off.
His face was cold, and his voice was icy as he spoke. "Stop pretending. You deliberately took the hit, hoping to get close enough to counterkill me. I know your plan better than you do. You won't succeed."
