Sunny stood before the colossal tree, his eyes wide with shock. It wasn't the tree itself that surprised him, but the twenty small, glistening fruits that hung from its branches. "Are those...?"

The beast let out a painful roar as its body turned to stone.

Star turned around at the cave entrance, seeing debris falling from the ceiling.
"No… He instructed me to stay here… And that's what I will do," she said, looking away and staring at the two giants who were now walking toward her, clearly drawn by the noise.
"So annoying," she growled, not moving an inch. "They are far away, but if he takes more time inside, I will have to act." She closed her eyes.

"Come on… Let's get Ellen," he said, walking past her and heading toward the two giants, his gaze distant.

Jabez dusted his black cloak, staring at Alastor and Andras.
"Did you get it?" Andras asked.
"Yep… I got the Queen's chaos ring," Jabez said with a smile, showing them the red ring in his hand.
"Should we go after the sword?" Andras asked, staring at the two.
"No… I sense a powerful warrior heading in that direction. In our current state, we won't win," Alastor said.
"You mean the one who caused that purple light?" Jabez asked, and Alastor nodded.
"We are here for the chaos ring. We will look for something else… What about the Queen's armor?" Alastor asked.
"We already got hold of some sets… We only need the helmet and sword…" Jabez sighed, and continued:
"If we abandon the sword, we will have to forge a new world, and Matilda will help with that."
He pulled out a compass. "Let's go. The gate is appearing tomorrow. We head south."
The two stared at each other, and with a helpless sigh, they followed behind him. Their lives were more important than a sword.
