Jinx raised her head to the sky, frowning as the clouds moved out of the way, revealing the moon.
"You see that?" she said, gesturing to the moon.
"That's the signal of death. Josephine has the Luna Moon Bloodline, and once she uses her skill, she clears the sky, allowing the moonlight to shine down on the land below. She and any werewolf the light touch get a boost in all stats. To put it simply, she is coming."
Jinx stood up and leaped forward, heading toward the gate. She looked over her shoulder at the three following her.
"No matter what, we must get to the warship before she gets here. Lucky for us, my cosmic brain is linked with it, so I can move it closer." Jinx added, and with one powerful leap, she shot into the air.
In a single motion, she unclipped the smoke grenade and threw it at the mercenaries.

Smoke instantly covered the entire entrance.
"Let's go!!"
Jinx landed on the ground and ran toward the entrance, the three of them right on her tail.
'She's really helping us escape... Did I misjudge her?' Jade thought, running outside the city with her two soldiers already ahead of her.

Jinx and the two soldiers stopped in their tracks and turned to the explosion, seeing Jade getting back to her feet, her gaze fixed on the dust before her, staring at the silhouette within it.
"None of you are escaping today."

Jade was dumbfounded, staring at the seven-foot white-furred werewolf that walked out from the dust.
"Josephine?"
She muttered in shock.
"If you're so eager to die, I'll grant your wish!"
Josephine shot forward, slashing her claws straight at Jade's throat.
"This!!"
Jade quickly used her last bit of celestial energy to create a shield in front of her.

Josephine's claws collided with the shield, the impact sending Jade flying backward.

She smashed into the ground and vomited a mouthful of blood, staring at Josephine in horror.
"A peak heavenly rank?" Jade was speechless. She looked at her two soldiers who were frozen in fear and, with gritted teeth, forced herself back to her feet.
"Come on—"
Jade froze, seeing more animalistic eyes on the city wall, all staring at her.
"Shit!!!"
Jinx threw a grenade at Josephine, who caught it in her hands, only for it to explode, cutting off her arm.
"GRAAAAAAA!!"
Josephine let out a painful roar and leaped backward.
"Come on!" Jinx threw a flash grenade, which instantly blinded Josephine for a few seconds. She rushed toward Jade, helped her up, and ran toward the warship, which was descending toward them.
Jade stared at Jinx, who was running in front of her, with countless emotions, not knowing what to say. She looked over her shoulder at Josephine, whose right hand was completely gone.
'She saved me, again?'
The group entered the warship, started it, and flew out of the planet.

"We are alive!"
Jinx collapsed on the ground, breathing heavily.
"Thank you. Thank you for saving my life," Jade said in a low voice, staring at Jinx.
"No worries," Jinx waved her hand dismissively.
"AHH! If only I blew up her head... Well, a hand is still something." She said with a small chuckle.
"Phew! We are safe!" the man yelled.
"Yes! I thought I—"

Jinx sat up in shock, staring at the two soldiers who dropped dead, blood flowing from the holes on their foreheads.

She turned to Jade in confusion.
"Bastards," Jade hissed, lowering her gun.
"Why did you kill them?" Jinx asked with a confused expression.
"They're cowards. I wondered why I picked them in the first place." She said, tossing the gun on a couch and walked toward the control seat.
'They know too much… Killing them is the only option.' Jade thought, sitting down and operating the warship.
"Where are we heading?" Jinx asked.
"We are going to the Queen..." She placed the coordinates, stood up, and walked toward the bodies.
"Let me take care of this." She stood beside Jinx and placed her hand on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry I disrupted your plan... I trust you, so don't say anything that happened in here." She said, staring Jinx right in the eyes.
"I don't give a fuck about those two, or anyone you kill... As long as I get paid, no worries."

"Done," Jinx said with a smile.
Jade nodded and walked away to take care of the bodies.

Jinx frowned, seeing a notification on her cosmic brain. With a thought, she opened it, only to freeze in shock.

Nioh, Nicolas, and Blood Eye walked out from the entrance, moving their gazes to the Beastify men and women who were back to their human appearances. They walked past all the soldiers and stood before Josephine.

They frowned, seeing she had only one hand.
"What... What happened?!" Nicolas asked in shock.
"How did that happen?" Blood Eye added.
Nioh was silent, staring at Josephine who had her back to them.
"The plan is successful." Josephine finally said, and before their eyes, her hand started regenerating. In seconds, her hand was back.
'Thanks to the Moon, Sunny, and my strength... Regenerating a full limb isn't difficult.' She thought, and turned around to face the three.
"Get ready and prepare for the King's return..." She said, reverting into her human appearance, clothes fully on.
"Get the army ready... Once we get the go button, we attack the Three-Eyed Nation." She said, turning to Nioh.
"About the two dead soldiers."
"Don't worry, they are criminals caught by my patrol guards... They offered their lives for their families' safety." Blood Eye quickly answered.
Josephine stared at her with a frown.
"They were once my men." Blood Eye added.
Josephine nodded and walked back to the castle. "Make sure their families are well taken care of... We aren't short on money—"
