The banquet was interrupted but wasn't ended.

Jayden went on with the occasion, as they continued the ceremony, having a big feast and a long moment of entertainment.

There was a lot to eat and drink, and as nobles, this wasn't really a new thing for all of them. The most interesting part was that The Dominus had shown himself, and what made it even more interesting was that the man who turned out to be The Dominus was Jayden Cole.

The man who everyone thought was dead and was slowly being forgotten.

The son of Emerson Cole is The Dominus.

Jayden Cole is the President of Nortasia.

After a moment, Jayden had to step forward to make another speech, this time an official one.

"One of the purposes for this banquet was to appoint and announce who the Vice President of Nortasia would be. Yes, I initially made a promise to Gregory Kingsley that I would appoint him as Vice President. But it was all a bait, and it was a good thing that he had fallen for it," Jayden said.

Almost everyone nodded.

"Not appointing Gregory Kingsley as Vice President doesn't mean we aren't appointing another person," Jayden continued. "In fact, I already have my plans set."

There was a low murmuring session in the hall, as everyone reacted in anticipation, all eyes on the President.

"The Vice President of Nortasia would be..."

Time stopped. Silence ensued.

Only one or two words were required to cause a stir at this point, and everyone was all ears.

Who would be the Vice President?

Who would be the second most powerful man in Nortasia?

They couldn't wait to hear his or her name, and surely, it would be even more interesting when Jayden called up one of the most influential men around.

"The Vice President of Nortasia is..."

"Me."

"HUUUHHH?"

All eyes turned cold as he spilled that. That was one of the craziest twists possible in the world.

"I will rule Nortasia myself, with the assistance of The Core. Nortasia will not have a Vice President in my regime, and that's final," Jayden declared.

The silence remained for a while until one man clapped.

Slowly, he clapped his hands, and it became contagious within a few seconds, as Luka joined in. Silas followed, and before they knew it, everyone around that spot joined.

It went on like that until the whole hall began to applaud the President.

It was clear that they had found sense in his decision, even if they had little belief.

All they knew was that he would surely make a better ruler than King Arthur, and that was certain.

Jayden glanced at his ladies and nodded. They all nodded back... It was their plan. They all knew about everything he was going to spill out here today.

"Uhmm, can I ask a question, please?"

A man suddenly stood up as he raised his hand.

Jayden nodded. "Go on, Mister Wayne."

Jayden recognized him at once. It was Mr. Mark Wayne, one of the richest men in Spring City.

"Okay... Uhm. It's about the ladies... Are... Are they your wives?" He stammered but later found the words.

All eyes switched toward Jayden at once.

The ladies flinched too...

They knew what this meant...

It was a hell of a heavy question, and well, it was up to Jayden to answer that, right?

It almost took Jayden forever to answer, but then he summoned his courage, acting like that question meant nothing.

"Uhm, not yet. But they are my ladies," Jayden said.

"Are you going to marry all of them?" another figure suddenly asked from a different corner.

Jayden sighed.

All eyes, including those of the ladies, were on Jayden.

He knew the kind of love they had for him, and having all of them to himself would mean he had to make them his wives.

In this modern world, having six wives would be insane, and Jayden couldn't just imagine how that would be.

But sure, he was the kind of person that would always find a way to get off sticky questions in public.

"We'll see to that. Thanks for the questions. But for now, no more questions," he ordered.

Everyone nodded, and they went on with the rest of the ceremony.

A lot of drama had happened at the banquet, but none was more interesting than the part where the Kingsleys were sentenced to doom.

Little did they know that the revenger was not done yet.

After the banquet, the President and his ladies left Cloudbridge City immediately and arrived at Dominion Island.

Camilia was the first to approach and bombard him with different questions immediately after they landed.

"I'm your first lady, right? Are you really going to get married to all of us?" she asked, her face filled with nothing but anticipation.

"Come on, Cammy. We'll talk about this later," Jayden said.

"No, it's now or never!"

A familiar voice sounded from behind, as Charlotte and Paula approached them.

Harper, Becky, and Temi followed suit immediately.

They all looked serious, but he understood. Now he knew that he would have to clear his intentions with them.

He loved them, sure... But what was more to that?

Jayden knew that these ladies still had a lot to help out with in the coming periods. It wasn't over yet, even after he had taken his revenge on the Kingsleys.

In fact, it was now that they were going to do the big jobs that their specialized skills had prepared them for.

Jayden knew that, and causing an issue might not be a good start for them.

"That's what we want to hear," Charlotte nodded as her face lit up. She seemed to be comfortable with sharing her husband with five other ladies.

Jayden couldn't help but exclaim.

"You want us to be your wives. No need for proposals. We accept, right?"

Becky said as she glanced at the rest.

"Yes."

"Absolutely."

They all reacted positively, and it got to the last point, where it was Camilia's turn to show her reaction.

And there was a clear hesitant look on her face.

Out of all of them, she looked like she wasn't entirely fine with it...

However, she still managed to nod.

"Uhm, sure."
