Chapter 131: The Transporter
After everything, Jayden was officially President.
The villa at Dominion Island was named the Presidential Residence, so they never moved.
Sure, the security condition of the island was definitely the best in the country, so there were not many additions.
After about two months, the construction of Dominion City was making huge progress.
The landscape was becoming perfect, as the city rose to become the fastest growing and developing city in the country in no time.
That was the masterpiece effect of the Chief Engineer of EC Consortium, Paula Ederson, combined with Charlotte's extraordinary technology and many more forces.
For the first two months of his rule, things had been going really well, and there were little to no issues.
Nortasia was rising.
....
"No one has been able to trace what caused the death of Gregory Kingsley. The veteran investigators have been on it for a while now, and it doesn't seem like they have any hope," Temi said, folding her arms.
The whole group was sitting in the living room as they conversed, with Jayden also present.
After two months, he had been getting used to rulership, and with the assistance of the ladies, he could say that he wasn't being weighed down.
"That makes it insanely serious. No traces of the murderer? The autopsy didn't reveal anything?" Jayden asked.
Temi nodded.
As the Information Chief, she was the one delivering every detail about anything going on in the country.
The sudden murder of Gregory Kingsley was one of the top issues.
Three days after being sentenced to life imprisonment, Gregory Kingsley was killed.
There, right in the cell, and no one even knew.
It wasn't as if Jayden cared too much about it... He really just wanted to know who had killed Gregory because he hadn't sponsored the move.
"Uhm, honey. I think you should just let it slide. You had always considered killing him yourself after the sentence, so why worry?" Harper asked.
"I just want to know who did it. That's a crime, right? It must be mysterious for them not to have found the killer. Might have used some crazy means to access the security facilities and left with no trace," Jayden said.
His mind was considering the fact that it could be people Gregory had wronged who wanted revenge.
He guessed maybe just sentencing him to life with hard labor wasn't enough. They wanted him dead, and before anyone could realize it, Gregory was dead with no trace of wounds.
Jayden sighed.
"Well, that's aside. The Alliance is having an all-president meeting on Friday. As the new member, you are to be welcomed and introduced to the World Powers," Temi spoke.
"Espana, Franch, Castania, Rusnia, and Icelandia?"
"Yep," Temi nodded to Jayden.
"Great to hear. I can't wait to introduce Nortasia to the world," Jayden said with a firm tone.
The ladies reacted in small chuckles, their faces filled with belief.
It was already the start of something big, and now, they were just like ministers to him, not just fiancées.
"I'll go visit my step-siblings today. We can prepare for my speech later on. Cammy, that's on you," he winked at her.
Camilia winked back as they accompanied him out of the villa, being followed by heavy convoys.
Now, Jayden was keeping the profile as both The Dominus and Jayden. That didn't even matter at this point, because he was still getting the same huge rewards he got as The Dominus.
There were no changes at all, and that's what made it fair.
It could just be simply termed that Jayden Cole is his real name, and The is his nickname or business name.
But whatever it is, he wasn't being carried away. At this point, he was on a mission preparing the world for the arrival of the Sovereign Protocols.
That's all that mattered, even though the system hadn't really explained what it meant.
He only knew that he had to prepare big for a hit.
******
A young man in a suit walked up to a door and gave it a loud knock.
"Ahh... Yeah, that feels good. Suck it! Suck it!"
"Right there, yes! Right there... Uhh..."
With a slight head shake, the man had to push the door open after realizing that the young man inside wouldn't open up.
There, the young man was being covered by three women.
One covering his face with the things on her chest, and the two others taking care of what was under him.
The man gave a slight look of disgust and shook his head again.
"It's time, Royce," he then said.
"Ahh, please just give me a moment. These bitches are killing me!" Royce shouted.
"There's no time to wait. I said it's time," the man said, his tone still calm.
However, Royce appeared to have turned deaf ears, as he continued to enjoy the pleasure the three ladies were giving him.
It didn't appear funny a second later after the man snapped his fingers, and the three ladies vanished instantly.
"Jesus Christ, Dale! I have begged you to stop using your magic on me. I was already finishing, and now you've screwed everything up!"
Royce stood up in frustration, shouting at the man for banishing the three ladies.
"Point of correction for the eighteenth time. It's technology, not magic. And secondly, we have to go," Dale said.
"Go where? I thought you said we are staying for another month?" Royce asked.
"Things changed. The Transporter is here. We have to go before we miss it. And when we miss it, we will never reach Nexus in five years. Do you want that?" Dale asked.
Royce hesitated for a moment before shaking his head.
"Good. Now let's move. You don't need to carry anything. You will be well taken care of in Nexus. You will meet people who care about you... people who wouldn't cast you out like everyone here on Earth," Dale said.
Royce nodded and followed him as they rushed out of the lonesome mansion in the middle of a forest.
Royce had been there for two months after Dale saved him when he was starving to death.
Dale had told him that he was there for him... that The Grandmaster had sent him to bring him to Nexus, where he would get a second chance at life.
Royce had trusted Dale after that day, and trusted him even more when he did the job of killing his father Gregory, who Royce had wanted dead after what happened at the banquet.
Now he was on his way out of this world.
He once never believed there was another survivable world other than Earth, but now, he guessed he did believe, since he was already being taken to one.
He couldn't wait to see it.
He couldn't wait to start a new life.
