IRON MAN: BROTHER DON'T CAUSE TROUBLE

Chapter 58: 58. I Am In------- World

It didn't take long for John to find the inn called The Silver Moon. As he entered, he first thought he had walked into some kind of bar. However, when he turned to the right, he spotted a counter. On the left, there was a staircase leading to the upper floors.

"Hello, guest! Are you here for lunch or to stay?" The owner of the inn greeted him warmly from behind the counter.

The owner appeared to be in her early 20s — a beautiful young girl with a cheerful demeanor. But John didn't think much of it. As the younger brother of Tony Stark, he had seen his fair share of beautiful women.

"Oh yes, I'd like to stay. How much will it cost for the night?" John asked with a small smile.

"Two copper coins for the night, including breakfast — but you'll have to pay in advance," the owner replied.

"So, how long do you plan to stay?" she asked again.

"Well, make it a month," John said casually.

"Alright, that will be a total of 60 copper coins," the owner said while pulling out a register from under the counter.

After paying the bill, John received the key to his room on the third floor.

"Do you want something for lunch, sir?" the owner asked. "By the way, my name is Mika."

"It's nice to meet you, Mika. My name is John Stark. You can just call me John," he replied with a smile, shaking her hand.

John told her that he was indeed hungry, and it didn't take long for Mika to bring his lunch. The meal was simple — a wooden cup of milk, a slice of white bread, and some kind of broth. But John wasn't one to complain. He finished the meal in just a few minutes and went directly to his room.

Upon opening the door, John found the room a little small for his taste, but it would do. The room contained a small bed, a chair, a table, and a cupboard — just the basics.

John glanced around the room before diving into the bed, lost in thought.

During lunch, John had asked Mika a few questions in a roundabout way so she wouldn't feel like something was off. From their conversation, John learned that this world was one of swords and magic, much like the novels he used to read. The realization left him eager to test his "Eye of Truth" ability on someone. He was sure this world would bring plenty of surprises.

He also learned about an organization called the Adventurer's Guild — a place where mercenaries, warriors, and mages gathered to take on quests. It seemed like the perfect place to earn money and meet powerful magicians.

For the rest of the day, John planned to explore the town to update his map so he wouldn't have to keep asking for directions.

After taking a short nap, John went downstairs. After informing Mika that he would be out for a while, he left the inn.

John spent the remainder of the day walking around town, updating streets and landmarks on the map. By the time he returned to the inn, it was already 8 p.m., according to his judgment.

The inn wasn't too crowded due to slow business, so John and Mika ended up having dinner together. Their conversation revolved mostly around the kingdom and interesting places to visit.

Even though it had only been a day, John felt happy for the company. It was the first time he had shared a meal with a girl — but his feelings were purely platonic.

After dinner, John returned to his room, thoughts drifting to Tony, Pepper, and the others.

"Tony must be worried sick about me," John muttered softly.

He sighed deeply. "I've lost almost all my powers... and I don't even know how to get back. The only thing I can do now is meditate. Maybe once the rune devours enough energy, it will take me home."

Pushing aside his worries, John sat down to meditate.

The next day, John woke up late in the afternoon, all thanks to his late-night meditation.

When he came down to the dining room, he asked Mika for lunch and began to eat heartily.

While John was enjoying his meal, a boy suddenly entered the inn. The boy appeared to be around 15 or 16 years old, with jet-black hair and dark eyes. He was about 5'6" (168 cm) tall, with a lean build. His youthful face carried an innocent charm, but there was also a hint of quiet confidence.

The boy paused for a moment, glancing around the room before heading to the counter to book a room.

John paid little attention to him — until the boy introduced himself.

"My name is Mochizuki Touya," the boy said.

John's mind immediately sounded an alarm — not because of danger, but because the name felt strangely familiar.

He turned to look at the boy again, and suddenly everything clicked.

"Now everything makes sense... The name of the town, the inn owner Mika... That's why everything felt so familiar. I've been transported to the ' In Another World with a Smartphone universe'!" John muttered in realization.

Just like in the novel, Touya received the key to his room on the third floor.

Once John finished his meal, he casually walked up beside Touya, standing at the counter with a calm expression.

"Thanks for the meal, Mika," John said. Then, turning toward Touya, he added with a grin, "Looks like you've got another guest — maybe you'll get lucky today."

John wasn't speaking randomly; he knew that two more guests were about to arrive in a couple of hours — just like in the story.

"Thank you, John, but I don't believe in superstition," Mika replied with a smile, placing the register back under the counter.

John chuckled softly to himself. He knew this world was about to get a whole lot more interesting.
