Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer

Chapter 1085: The experiment island

[OP: ]

"Be safe, big brother…"

"Of course, little love. We'll be back in no time, ok?"

Since they were leaving early in the morning, they thought they wouldn't see many people sending them off… but they were wrong.

"Don't let him do anything dangerous, Elle. keep an eye on him."

"I intend to do so, mother Nol."

The whole family was here.

His mom and aunts, dad and uncles, even grandparents and elder uncle and aunt. All of them were here, with Alf, Quin, Chry, Carla, Anna, and Zoe present with them.

Some had woken up after only a few hours of sleep, and were still sleepy. While on the other hand, some had not slept at all, and were preparing to go to bed after sending the four of them off with the headmaster who had arrived a few days ago.

"Headmaster…"

His mother was not the only one worried about him after the incident at the dungeon, so as the Lord of the territory, as well as the only person who could make a selfish request to someone of his status, his grandma warned the headmaster.

"Bring them back, Sir Merlin. They have already gone through something… they don't need more."

"Yes, Lady Griz."

The headmaster understood their collective emotions.

The worries of the mother, the anxiousness of the sisters, the uncertainty of the fathers, and the fear that their friends had. He could understand it all since he had seen them countless times in various forms.

He had not met many who were as unique as these two, but he had seen and met countless families who cared about their children as much as them.

"I won't let them do what they should not be doing. In fact, seeing their current conditions, I will make sure they take their needed rest and recover while they are with me."

They had not told the family members about their conditions. Telling them would not do any good, so making them more worried than they already were was not a good idea.

"I will take your word for it then."

They were going to a certain island that was not under the direct authority of the Heliox, but since it was part of the north, it was under the rule of their household.

People just don't go there since… they cannot. The place was dangerous and exactly beside the habitat of a dangerous creature so, it was also going to be relatively safer.

With the headmaster there, the children including President Zod and Cradle would be fine, and though the others wanted to go with them, they knew just how important this was to Eon.

"Alright then…"

They knew the incidents from a few days ago had disturbed them greatly, but they had recovered a lot since the last few days.

They were doing better, mostly thanks to the headmaster. He was also the reason they were even sending them away at a time like this.

"We will see you all in a few days. Be safe… and don't worry about us too much."

While they all knew about how Eon and his party were going to try and create a new kind of potion or elixir which would contain resurrection properties, they did not know the technical details.

They had no idea how they had prepared a set of equipment, they did not know about things related to the experiment, and they also did not know why they would need three days to do this.

But, they trusted the two. So, they left them with a smile, and a light wave. As well as a worried expression.

-Ooooooooooong!

After the goodbye, the headmaster covered them in a familiar spell and the five, including the headmaster, started floating up and away from the front yard of the Heliox castle.

The headmaster was in the lead, so, he first covered the rest of them in a barrier, and while he was doing so, Eon took one last glance at his family members, at his grandpa Zhen, at Miss Moon, and at his Zoe.

They looked worried for many reasons, but on the other hand, Anna looked hopeful.

She wanted him to succeed in whatever he was doing. She wanted him to get the results that he wished for and perhaps more.

She just wanted him to be happy, and Eon appreciated that more than anything else as he smiled at her from above and looked away at the distant sky.

"Get ready, everyone."

The barrier covered them completely and, while the barrier looked like something aerodynamic, there were holes around this barrier, making it even better.

[{ "This is going to be pretty fast, right? Like the recoil from using a {Blink} spell." }]

The headmaster was going to use a fast travel spell with all of them. A spell of (tier-8) that's already difficult to use for one person, much less for all five of them.

[{ "I guess we will-." }

-Swish!

_Blink!

The way they simply vanished from there right before the eyes of the family member surprised the younger ones more than it did to the older ones.

Anna especially found the magic of the headmaster, the pinnacle of the Archmages, to be something quite charming.

"Wow…"

She was able to see how the spell had taken effect. She was able to feel that magic… it was not something even the archmages were capable of, and yet, she was able to feel something as logical as magic…

It wasn't something that she had been able to do before, but she could do so now. Though…

-Swish!

_Blink!

[{ "Ahem! Damn, yeah… that was worse than a {Blink}." }]

Anna will not know what she has felt for a while now.

She would not know what it meant to feel magic spells of the others, to feel logic, to attach abstract concepts with logical ones through her unique powers, but, one thing was for sure.

"I will give you all a moment to stabilise."

This wasn't a coincidence… it meant something… something big.

"Aghhhhh!"

"There there… you were never a fan of these things, huh Zod."

"I'm… aghhhhh! A-apologies."

President Zodiac was not fond of high speed travels. Especially when it included arial travel.

It was his innate disposition that made him sensitive to all kinds of movements, but his superhuman senses also had a drawback like this one.

Though, this was something they all already were familiar with so his reaction right now did not come as a surprise for them.

With Elle and Clover being there, he would also feel better in no time at all.

So… just like the headmaster, the rest focused on what was present under them.

"It looks normal…"

"It sure does…"

Surrounded by normal water, with a certain large island like structure at a distance which actually was a pile of seashells gathered by a (Purple) rank creature called [B.M. Seabale], a fish-like mammal that liked to gather around shells of aquatic creatures and pile them in a place.

A highly dangerous being that shoots out sharp darts like skin tissues upon detecting danger, and a creature that you absolutely do not want to get close to in normal circumstances.

'It was a territorial creature so it wouldn't bother us in this place which fell outside of its territory, but to get here by sea route, one must either pass through the creature, or take a different approach like we did.'

It was necessary that one avoids that being since to upset that creature would mean to invite trouble to not just upon themselves, but to all the ocean area around them.

It was one of the few that were left in this world as well, so it was better to just let it be.

"Our destination is in the center of the island so we will have to walk a little even if we do land near it."

"Ahem. Ahem. Yes, headmaster."

The president seemed fine now, so we all started descending towards the empty island covered by plants and trees that seemed just like a simple piece of distant land, specifically one that had a few other islands at uneven distances.

"The site is just up ahead. Let's go."

The headmaster had already scouted the place so they simply walked behind him as he led through the forest path and they ended up before a cave.

"It's not too deep, so let's pick up some pace, shall we?"

The island itself was short so after leaving the heliox estate, after only a hour of walking, after passing through a cave which brought back some unpleasant recent experience for the two, the party stood before what seemed to be an abandoned ancient site.

"Damn… I can feel it."

"There's only Mana in the air. This… this really is the place."

They needed a place that would be devoid of most other kinds of energies to concentrate the energies of their own.

And this place, this cave area with an open roof with sun shining directly above them, with a big open area with only a few pillars of the Old era scattered on the edges of the place, this was just the kind of place that they needed.

"There's no water source nearby, there's also decent soil here, and with the presence of those old pillars which seem to serve no purpose but in fact are made with a material that deflect Mana, this is a much better place than what we were hoping for."

It was quite the coincidence that they found the perfect spot for this specific experiment near their vacation spot.

However, since they had found such an appropriate place for themselves, they now seemed more cheerful.

"Good."

Eon, especially, had a bright expression on him.

He could already see the ichor of heavens being made with the mortal hands…
