Itachi Uchiha: Massacre Night

"I'm out of Chakra." The water jutsu expert who was putting the most work into defending the root ninjas became exhausted and wanted to recover.

"You can't. We only have about 25 ninjas left that can still fight. Keep going" a sensory ninja said as he used all of his powers to find Itachi but failed to do so.

"There he is!!!" Someone said as he pointed towards Itachi who was going towards the second entrance of the hall.

"What? He is also there!! Which one is the clone?" Another root ninja said as he found Itachi's clone running towards the third and secret entrance.

"What is he doing? Is he running away?" The guy who was leading the root on the battlefield wondered as he saw Itachi's clone reaching the two entrances.

*Boom*Boom*

It turns out that both of them were Itachi's exploding shadow clones which exploded themselves and destroyed the two extra entrances of the underground hall.

"What is he doing?" Someone who had a lower intelligence wondered as to why Itachi destroyed 2 of the 3 entrances of the hall.

"No way he is thinking of doing that. Does he even have enough chakra for that?" The guy who was leading root ninja knew what Itachi was doing so he naturally wanted to stop.

"Leave right now through the main entrance but be careful. He might be near the entrance!!!" The leader ninja shouted as he sprinted towards the only remaining entrance but Itachi was already standing on the stairs of the main entrance.

"Goodbye," Itachi said as he raised his right hand and started firing Great Fireballs into the air-tight hall without stopping while his right hand had a bunch of Shurikens ready to attack their balls the moment he got the chance.

"What?!! How can he attack like this? Does he have infinite chakra?"

"We have to dodge this"

"Shit, I have been hit. Use your water jutsu on me"

"Stay away from me. Burn by yourself"

"Cough Cough, I can't breathe"

"My balls!!!"

The root ninjas all started to panic the moment they saw the barrage of giant fireballs coming toward them. Some got hit by them while some tried to dodge, which gave Itachi enough room to start targeting their balls with his exceptional throwing skills.

Soon, the room was filled with fireballs, which started to explode and spread the fire even more, which made the root ninjas despair.

By now, all of them had started burning and were bleeding from their crotch. More than half of them were already dead while the leftover ninjas cried for help in agony.

"HELP!!!"

"STOP THIS MADNESS"

"SAVE ME"

Even though the root ninjas were supposed to be emotionless and mindless. They started calling for help the moment they knew they were about to die. Their behavior made Itachi remember a quote from his previous life, which was "In their last moments, people show you who they really are".

'If I hadn't become one with this life, I would have felt horrible for doing such a thing, but now I don't feel anything,' Itachi thought as he saw all of The Root ninjas die in front of him, which didn't faze him even a little.

He doesn't care much about laws and ethics like he used to, in his previous life. In this life, he only cares about his loved ones. Yes, he will try to be a nice person to everyone and act friendly, but he won't hesitate to kill anyone who might be a threat to him or his family. That's the type of person he will become in this life.

He will be harsh on his foes but gentle to the common folk, Brutal to his enemies yet caring for his loved ones. This is the path that he had chosen for himself in this life. As for his life goal, he just wants to eliminate all future threats and live a long life with his family till he eventually dies of old age.

"Let's see if there is anything left above" Itachi said as he made an exploding clone to destroy the main entrance of the hall to make sure no one survives and went to the ground floor to have a quick look to see if Danzo had any valuables left.

Inside the Hokage Building, an old man was smoking a cigar as he looked outside his window and patiently waited for Itachi to bring him the news of his mission.

That man was none other than Third Hokage, who, alongside Danzo and the elders, gave Itachi the mission to wipe out his clan.

'He should be here any moment' Hiruzen smiled a little. He knew that his brainwashed tool would complete his mission without any trouble and massacre his clan successfully including his family.

"Hokage-sama, I have something to report" An Anbu captain suddenly appeared in front of Hiruzen and bowed.

"Is it about Itachi?" Hiruzen asked because he thought that Itachi might have left the village without reporting him.

"No sir, We don't know anything about him. It's about the Uchiha Clan. Some suspicious activities are going on in the police force headquarters, and we have also spotted people going in and out from the Uchiha Clan leader's house," The Anbu Captain reported.

'Did Itachi failed?' Hiruzen wondered as he found it hard to believe that Itachi could fail this mission. The only thing that could happen to him is him getting killed by his father Fugaku Uchiha.

'It's very unlikely, but that's definitely what must have happened.' Hiruzen knew how powerful Fugaku was, so he deliberately put his own son against him to get rid of him. He knew Fugaku loved his children and would never harm his children even if they were sent to kill him but it seemed that Hiruzen read him wrong.

"Sigh, expect everything unexpected. What about the ninjas that were watching Uchiha clan leader's home?" Hiruzen inquired about the Anbu ninjas that he stationed near Fugaku's residence who were supposed to report any kind of activity happening around that area.

"Missing presume dead" The Anbu Captain reported.

"I see, gather everyone. We are going to crush the Uchiha Clan coup before they get any chance to attack" Hiruzen said as he stood up and decided to go to war against The Uchiha Clan. He wanted to eradicate them and stop their coup in their own domain because, to him, a good defense is an active defense.
