Watching outside from my home I saw as grayfia appeared on a magic circle.

She glanced around until her gaze settled on me. Her brows lifted, just slightly. "You arrived early."

"Professional habit," I said, arms crossed.

Without another word, she reached into a small satchel and pulled out a folded parchment. It was marked with runes and the seal of the Gremory family.

She handed it to me.

"This is a teleportation seal," she said. "It will bring you directly to the designated reception hall in the Underworld. The engagement party is already in progress. Lord Sirzechs wanted you to make your entrance when ready…

She didn't move immediately, her red eyes watching me for a moment longer than necessary.

With that, the magic circle beneath her reignited.

With that, I decided to activate the seal I was given I would only be the one going since I didn't wanna risk any of my companions that I recently summoned or gray for that matter.

As I finally appear, would like to be a hallway, I looked around slightly.

The reception hall was massive to say it lightly, everybody was wearing extremely expensive looking clothes while I was just wearing a simple tank top and jeans.

Some people gave me weird looks, but nobody came to approach me.

At the far end of the hall, I saw Rias wearing a white dress which I had to admit, she looked good on…

She hadn't noticed me yet, talking to a few other devils near her parents. Her expression was unreadable.

Before the party could continue my client decided to come out from whatever he was doing as he made all the guest, but their attention on him.

"Everyone… I believe it's time we clear up the elephant in the room. I was the one who granted access to the Red Dragon Emperor… our unexpected guest."

A lot of people look confused as they started looking around, not knowing who the red sis-con was talking about.

Until some suspicious eyes landed on me and Sirzechs looked at me, basically preferring to everybody in the room who he was talking about us slowly multiple eyes started staring at me.

"I propose a match the winner will receive a wish wouldn't this be the perfect show to show your strength riser" say Sirzechs as riser piled slightly.

Couldn't just bring him problems in the future, whatever it's not my problem I don't get paid to ask my clients business after the job anyways.

"So they decided red dragon If you are the victor, what would you like to have as your reward?"

"The complete freedom of lady Rias" cringing to myself, knowing the lines I was supposed to say.

And like that me and riser were teleported from the party. Teleporting to a dimension that looks like an accurate representation of biblical hell.

With that, I immediately summon boosted gear and decided to do something for the first time that I haven't done before, but this would be the perfect opportunity to do this.

A blinding red light erupted from the gear, engulfing my arm and rushing across my body. Armor began to form, piece by piece fins, gauntlets, a helmet of jagged red and green.

A massive surge of raw force exploded outward, shattering the ground beneath me. Fire and wind twisted around my form, and behind me, twin spectral wings burst to life.

Power surged into my veins, overwhelming, intoxicating.

Riser didn't even register the punch until he was already crashing through a burning spire.

I didn't let up. I flashed forward again using [Blink Step], appearing behind him mid-air and slamming him with a spinning kick enhanced by [Frost Flames].

BOOM.

Fire and ice exploded in a swirl of destruction, and Riser's regeneration was already struggling to keep up. I could see the panic creeping in behind his eyes.

He tried to counter with a massive wave of flame.

I tanked it.

Sacred Flame surged around my fists, burning away his attack before I struck again this time with Spiral Frostfire Lance right to the chest.

"Enjoying yourself?" I asked, hovering above him as he staggered in the lava-glow haze.

"You... damn mongrel!"

I rocketed down and drove my armored fist straight into his face, sending him plummeting into the ground.

I pointed my palm at him, conjuring a condensed orb of flame.

New technique created

[Sacred Nova: Dragon's Judgement]

With a shout, I hurled it. The explosion that followed shook the entire dimension.

[End of the first arc]

Objective: do something about riser phenex

As we both get teleported back to the party room where riser body lands on top of a table as his injuries slowly regenerate.

- Rias, moments before the battle ends

As she saw the fight that was happening, she looked on in amazement. She hadn't recognized him at first, but then once she felt his magic, she recognized him.

He was that one guy Sona had gained an interest in recruiting before he disappeared.

He left no traces behind or any means to learn what happened to him.

Curiously, a church got burned down around the same time, and not even a couple of days before, there were still markings and burns around a forest with traces of magic.

She now remembers his name: Chikayoshi Kageyama…. So many questions entered her mind as to why he was helping her… After thinking about it, she realized that the reason was irrelevant. Regardless of the reason, she still owed him a great favor if he managed to be successful.

As she saw him brutally punching riser on the ground, she smiled; she would have to repay him somehow.

As I looked around the crowd, some of them looked away while others just kept staring at me like I was a minority in the 60s well considering in their perspective I probably was.

I made my way to Sirzechs who looked at me with a smile on his face.

"Give me another of those papers to get home" I told him as he oblige, taking out a piece of paper from his pocket, giving it to me.

As the crowd start to dissipate due to the party ending. As I made my way out, leaving the large building as I was planning to activate the teleportation paper from outside.

Before I could leave I feel a certain hand touching my shoulder.

Moving my head, I see a certain redhead that caught my attention earlier, grabbing me from the shoulder.

"I know who you are," she said softly, looking into my eyes. "Chikayoshi Kageyami… or do you go by something else now?"

I held her gaze for a second then nodded "christopher."

"…You helped me. You didn't have to, but you did."

I shrugged "It was just a job." Her to open her eyes slightly making me shake my head slightly.

"Still," she said, brushing a strand of red hair from her face. "I owe you."

"Call on me when you need it," she added "whatever it is."

I just simply grabbed a piece of paper from my inventory and a pencil as I started writing her something on it by her expression I could tell she was confused as I finish writing the paper I gave it to her.

"This is my information if you ever want to hire me" I said, as I immediately activated the teleportation circle in the paper, leaving the underworld.

Crashing on my couch, I decided to now finally check my rewards.
