Everything here can change over time, but the stages themselves will remain the same, and the realms themselves are highly simplified.

Mortal Ascension Realm:

-Mortal Awakening Stage (Opening the Senses & Feeling Energy)

Take special pills and Qi to enhance each sense: Sight → Hearing → Smell → Taste → Touch.Once all five senses are fully awakened, the cultivator can feel the flow of Qi in the world.To advance, the cultivator must swallow spiritual energy essence and circulate it inside the body.

What Changes?

 The world appears more vivid, and the cultivator can sense energy for the first time.

 Their perception sharpens, allowing them to detect hidden forces.

 They become ready to purify their blood and strengthen their body.

How to Advance?

To reach the next small realm, the Purification of Blood Stage, you must swallow spiritual energy essence and then try to sense it within your body. Once you successfully purify at least 1% of your body, you will have entered this realm.

-Purification Blood Stage (Strengthening the Blood & Regeneration)

Absorb spiritual energy essence into the blood, refining it gradually.As more purified blood replaces mortal blood, the body heals faster and ages slower.At the peak of this stage, the blood completely transforms into Spiritual Blood Essence.

What Changes?

 Healing increases 5× faster than a normal human.

 The cultivator can move energy inside their body, preparing for meridian awakening.

 Their lifespan extends to 100-110 years.

Their purified blood can heal others, but at a cost to their own cultivation.

How to Advance?

The cultivator must use Spiritual Blood Essence to open at least three lower meridians, unlocking energy pathways.

-Meridians Awakening Stage (Unlocking Energy Channels & Lifespan Expansion)

Use Spiritual Blood Essence to awaken the meridians one by one.There are 14 main meridians, 6 standard meridians, and 108 sub-meridians.The more meridians opened, the greater the Qi flow and regeneration speed.

What Changes?

 A cultivator becomes extremely durable,even a sword wound might not be fatal.

 Healing increases to 10× faster than the previous stage.

 The aging process slows down significantly, lifespan extends to 100-130 years.

 Qi circulation allows stronger attacks, greater endurance, and better energy control.

How to Advance?

A cultivator must sacrifice all blood essence to refine their first bone, beginning Bone fusion.

-Bone Fusion Stage (Strengthening the Skeleton & Body Resilience)

Merge Spiritual Blood Essence into the bones, changing their structure and color.The bone color changes based on the cultivator's soul aura, determining strength and durability.

Bone Colors & Strength:

Bright Bone → Weakest, but easiest to cultivate.

Glowing Bone → Stronger, but requires more refinement.

Refined Bone → Nearly indestructible, extremely powerful.

Black Bone → The absolute peak, granting immense strength.

What Changes?

The higher the bone color, the stronger the cultivator.

Regeneration increases significantly wounds heal almost instantly.

A Black Bone cultivator can crush a Bright Bone cultivator effortlessly.

Lifespan increases to 130-200 years.

How to Advance?

All blood essence must be concentrated into the marrow to refine Marrow Essence Drops.

-Marrow Essence Stage (Energy Absorption & Organ Refinement)

Transform blood into marrow essence drops, increasing Qi absorption.The higher the bone color, the better the marrow essence drops.

What Changes?

 Healing increases even further, allowing organs to regenerate.

 The cultivator's body can heal from fatal wounds with enough essence drops.

 The heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys become enhanced, extending lifespan to 350-420 years.

How to Advance?

The cultivator must destroy their entire body and rebuild it from energy to reach the next stage.

-Body Reconstruction Stage (Creating a Spiritual Body)

Convert every part of the body into spiritual energy, removing physical limitations.The False Core is created to store Qi.

What Changes?

A fully energy-based body, immune to normal attacks.

Lifespan extends to 800-900 years.

Qi manipulation becomes perfect, allowing effortless control.

How to Advance?

The cultivator must refine their False Core into a True Core and integrate elemental energy.

-Body Ascension Stage (Mastering the Elements & First Step for Immortality)

How to Cultivate:

Absorb elemental energy to refine the Elemental Core.The cultivator must survive three Heavenly Tribulations to ascend.

What Changes?

Can manipulate elements directly, without using Qi techniques.

A lifespan of 1,400 years.

After passing the Heavenly Tribulations, the cultivator forms a Spiritual Root, the gateway to true immortality.

For everyone reading this, these stages are only the first stage of the Mortal Ascension Realm, as I haven't created more yet. However, for those curious about the later stages, I can explain.

As you can see, everything so far has been focused on the body, and I built the foundation of this realm upon physical cultivation. After the body comes the mind and body fusion, and finally, the soul cultivation. These three major stages define the Mortal Ascension Realm:

First Stage – Body Cultivation

Second Stage – Mind and Body Cultivation

Third Stage – Soul Cultivation

After these, one ascends into the next great realm beyond mortality.

Now, if anyone wonders why I designed the realms this way,well, the answer is simple. The realm is called the Mortal Ascension Realm for a reason. For a mortal to wield a powerful mind, he first needs a powerful body. Only after strengthening both can he endure the cultivation of the soul, and once he refines the body, mind, and soul, he can truly ascend to immortality.

This is my interpretation of what it takes to reach immortality.

And why does it take so long? Well, the novel's name is Journey of True Cultivation, isn't it? To an immortal, a thousand years,or even ten thousand years,is nothing more than a short nap. So, yes, this novel can become something gigantic, or… I might stop in the middle. Who knows?
