"Two boys, and two girls… Seems like we've got a promising situation here."

"Do you consider yourself young?"

"Hey, I'm 35! My skin is still as soft as a baby's bottom!"

"Wow, you're even older than I thought!"

"Damn it! Anyway, how about we do something that two boys and two girls can do together? How about...

Board games?"

"…"

Megumi's eyes shifted between Nobara and Takaba, the two culprits behind the current debate about how to pass the time. His gaze seemed exhausted, and he couldn't help but sigh.

'It's moments like these that I miss Itadori…'

After defeating Reggie, he and Nobara encountered Takaba. Realizing that the sorcerer seemed to genuinely be a good person, they allowed him to join their group.

Since then, they had taken out some chaotic players and curses roaming the colony, attracted by the cursed energy abundant in the area.

They had also spent hours searching for Itadori but found no trace of their companion. Megumi was troubled by this and even tried to locate Higuruma, who was likely the last person to see him.

No luck.

Fortunately, he noticed that Itadori was consistently gaining points, which helped ease his mind.

"Actually, I think it's a good idea."

A new voice declared, prompting Megumi to turn toward two striking green eyes.

"…"

On top of everything else, they had encountered the player Tengen mentioned—someone capable of nullifying cursed techniques.

Hana Kurusu, a player who, like Itadori, served as a vessel for an ancient sorcerer known as…

Angel.

Hana, who was observing Megumi in a not-so-subtle manner, quickly averted her gaze when noticed, a faint crimson hue creeping across her cheeks.

But Megumi paid it little mind, his focus returning to Nobara and Takaba, who were whispering to each other.

"I see… So it's that..."

"Yes, young one. It's definitely that…"

He narrowed his eyes in irritation, his shoulders slumping in defeat as he turned to the window of the luxurious room where they were resting.

When they first met Kurusu, Megumi initially assumed she was a hostile player, as her aura felt heavy, especially when she looked at Nobara. It took a few minutes of conversation to clear things up.

As for the two girls, Megumi was genuinely surprised when, after some dialogue, that hostile gaze completely disappeared.

It was just as Itadori once said: "Women are complicated; trying to understand them is a great way to lose your sanity." Megumi couldn't fathom how Itadori could say something like that at only 15, but seeing two girls who initially seemed ready to kill each other chatting so casually made him agree.

"When do you plan to break the Prison Realm's seal?"

The atmosphere shifted as a deep voice suddenly asked. Hana blinked as she noticed the Angel's mouth on her cheek.

Megumi, unsurprised by the sudden question, replied calmly, "We need to create the rules first, but with our teammates' performance, it won't take long."

"Right…" the voice agreed. "But don't forget our deal. I want the 'Fallen Angel' dead, and then Hana and I will break the seal willingly."

Megumi didn't know who this Fallen Angel was, but he couldn't care less. If they had to eliminate a player to save Gojo, so be it.

With Yuta accumulating more and more points and Hakari and Itadori not far behind, it was only a matter of time before they had enough.

As much as Megumi hated to admit it, there wasn't much more he could do. Traveling to another colony would take too long, so the best decision was to stay put and wait.

"Hey, Kurusu! Doesn't that guy bother you?" Nobara asked, approaching Hana and sitting beside her while eyeing the mouth on her cheek curiously. "Like, doesn't it hurt?"

"Oh…" Hana seemed genuinely curious about the question. Reflecting for a moment, she shook her head. "Actually, I don't feel anything."

"I see, I see…" Nobara rubbed her chin thoughtfully, a certain pink-haired boy popping into her mind. "I wonder if it's the same with Itadori… What do you think, Megumi?"

Megumi, uninterested in the conversation, merely glanced out the window. "I don't know. He's never mentioned being bothered by Sukuna. Something about being great at 'keeping him in his place'..."

"…"

The Angel's mouth, which had remained silent until then, parted its lips slightly as if about to speak.

"You said…

Sukuna?"

.

"What a delicious aroma~"

Hot air rose as Itadori removed the protective cover from the instant noodle bowl, his eyes locking onto the food as he licked his lips in anticipation.

After hours searching for Uro, he decided to take a break to eat. After days of consuming Director Yaga's food, the pleasant smell of instant noodles made his stomach growl ferociously.

Surprisingly, finding Uro had turned out to be a challenging task, even making him wonder if she was still in the colony.

Even with his transfigured curses assisting in the search, he hadn't found any trace of the former sorcerer… Not that there would be any, considering she didn't wear clothes.

"Well, I guess I'd have noticed a naked woman flying around by now…" he said sarcastically. Ignoring how hot the noodles were, he started eating without hesitation. "If I haven't found her yet, there's a high chance she left the colony."

He told himself this, his shoulders slumping as he shook his head in disappointment. Uro's technique was powerful and would have been a perfect addition to his arsenal.

But searching for her across Japan was out of the question. If Kenjaku attacked while he was too far from Jujutsu High, and teleportation didn't work, there'd be no way to make it in time.

So, even though it was a bit disappointing to miss out on such an interesting ability, he preferred to play it safe and stay close.

With 70 points accumulated after eliminating some remaining curses in the colony, he didn't need to worry about contributing to the point total. Yuta and Hakari would secure more than enough, after all.

Finishing his meal in under two minutes, he smiled in satisfaction and tossed the bowl into a trash can.

At the end of the day, Uro's technique was just another way to bolster his defenses. He'd just have to get a bit more creative.

"…" Itadori paused for a moment, his gaze growing distant as if remembering something. "Actually, Uraume's technique would be great for defense…"

Adjusting his jacket, he stepped out of the restaurant onto a deserted street.

"Alright, one last search."

He declared to himself, easing the tension in his shoulders as he took a deep breath to prepare to move.

"Looking for someone?~"

!

Just as he was about to step forward, his focus wavered as a voice came from above, making him turn toward the source with an impassive expression.

"Surprised?~"

"…"

After so much time searching, only to have his target appear willingly before him, Itadori felt a wave of irritation.

If he had known she'd show up eventually, he might as well have laid down in the town square.

At this point, he felt like a complete idiot.

Crash!

As soon as Uro reached him, a strange sound of shattering glass was followed by a tremor that shook the entire street, dust rising from the powerful impact.

"Mm~" The woman, now on the ground, watched with an intrigued smile when she didn't find her target. Turning her head, she observed as the dust began to settle. "I've been watching you for a while and saw your fight with that idiot."

Itadori, now kneeling a few meters from his previous position, observed his left arm with interest.

"It's no surprise you dodged," she said with a soft touch to her lips, her face shifting into a confident smile. "Though you didn't avoid all the damage…"

Itadori's arm was injured, blood dripping from his torn skin—an intermediate wound that confused the sorcerer himself.

"When you moved, I managed to trap your arm by striking the surface of the sky like a thin layer of ice," she explained. Raising her hand, she grabbed the very "space" around her, draping it over herself like a mantle, a beautiful smile gracing her lips. "This is my technique, which allows me to manipulate the sky."

"…"

Itadori remained silent, a sigh escaping him as he clenched his injured fist and stood up, his impassive expression prompting Uro to narrow her eyes.

"Alright, that's good."

With cursed energy enveloping his body like a cloak of flames, he formed an unnatural smile, intimidating even the ancient sorcerer before him.

"It means I don't have to search anymore."
