Jujutsu Kaisen: No Regrets

When Nobara came up with a with a plan that involved splitting up, Yuji didn't object. He remembered that none of the curses in this building were capable to posing a threat to them, so he saw no need to any moment longer than necessary.

Walking down a dark corridor, Yuji looked around with interest. His grip on the knife in his hands were firm and ready to strike any moment when a curse closed up on him.

As already mentioned, Satoru gave Yuji a knife imbued with cursed energy, Slaughter Demon, as curses can't be destroyed just by using his fists.

While using a knife wasn't something he was used to, he still preferred fighting physically.

With his supernatural physique and ability to manipulate cursed energy and reinforcement it into objects , he saw himself improving astronomically.

The real Yuji would've still preferred to fight with his fists rather than a weapon, but this new Yuji liked the idea of creating a balance between the two.

Afterall, in a fistfight, a weapon would all the difference.

He wouldn't have to solely depend on his fists, neither completely on his weapon.

Widening his eyes when the hairs on the back of his neck stood up, rushed forward and turned his body back while jumping, dodging the sneak attack.

'That was close. I gotta pay attention.'

Turning around, his vision landed on a curse that vaguely resembled a grasshopper, it's pincers that were there instead of hands that appeared sharp as real blades.

"This will be a good opportunity to test out my skills in real combat."

Raising his knife, Yuji prepare himself as the curse began to charge towards him.

"Do... You need... A reciept?"

The curse said with it's weird voice while charging towards Yuji.

Killing curses was something Yuji had in his mind. How should he feels about it? Curses were born out of negative emotions of humans. It's not like any of them wanted to be born this way.

But would be compromise? Nah, it was a matter of survival. He needed to survive and become strong to stop the mishaps of this world. Not playing hero, but stopping the unnecessary destruction.

Splat!

In an attempt to block the pierce attack, Yuji grabbed one of it's arm and sliced it with his knife.

The arm came off completely.

Yuji leapt onto the air, while turning his body in attempt to dodge another piercing attack.

Boom! Crash! Crash!

At that moment he tossed his knife, then caught it to stab one of it's eye, following by a kick that made curse crashing into a wall.

It's disgusting blood splattered all the way in the corridor.

The curse got out of the rubble and smoke and looked at Yuji.

Yuji charged towards the curse while holding his knife in a reverse grip.

The curse growled in pain.

Fwish!

Yuji suddenly appeared in front of the curse and stabbed it's chest.

Then he dragged his knife all the way till it's throat, slashing it.

Bam!

With a knee strike to the face and knife in it's throat, the curse died.

Yuji's method of killing was a bit unconventional, but good for a first timer.

"Sigh... Honestly it feels exhilarating."

Yuji sighed and took out his knife the curse's throat. He wiped it out clean.

Yuji bended his body downwards, dodging the attack meant for him.

He he did a flip and took his position to another side.

He looked at the cursed that had body of a spider, but with tentacles instead of it's legs.

"Hiss... Are you here... To help?"

The curse said with it's weird voice.

It looked disgusting.

"Bro, what the actual–"

Swish!

Before finish his sentence, the curse swept one of it's tentacles towards his head.

He dodged it by rotating his body and dashed towards it, holding his knife.

The curse started swinging it's tentacles all around.

Splat!

But in one attempt, Yuji sliced three of it's tentacles.

The curse looked at Yuji.

Yuji with very high speed dashed towards the curse and sliced off all of it's remaining tentacles.

But he didn't stop. He used his knife and stabbed the curse three times it's head.

It's blood splattered in all directions as it was dead.

He started moving up and roamed around around above corridor, killing a few curses present.

Meanwhile, outside the building, Megumi was insisting Satoru, that he should join Yuji and Nobara.

But Satoru refused Megumi. He said Megumi, that he wanted to how crazy can Nobara get. He also mentioned that Yuji has a few screws missing from his brain, as he, leading a normal life just charged at curses for killing them, without even knowing of their existence beforehand.

He also mentioned, how Yuji was running around the campus, just as he was admitted to the school. Curses at Tokyo were far stronger than countryside because the population of curses are directly influenced by the human population in that area.

Meanwhile, inside the building, Nobara had already exorcised the curse that was looking like mannequin.

She found a child hiding behind the boxes where the curse was present earlier.

She walked towards the boy.

"Hey it's all right now. Come on out."

She said as she looked at the boy.

But the boy refused by turning his head.

'Huh?'

Nobara was confused.

She turned around and sigh with a longer of disappointment.

"Maybe children don't warm up to beautiful women. Guess I'll call Itadori."

She said.

"Wait! Don't come here!"

The boy shouted as Nobara turned back.

A hand passing through the other side of the wall came this side and a curse held the and pointed it's finger at the boy's neck.

"Kekekeke..."

It laughed weirdly.

Nobara quickly assessed the situation and understood that the curse had intelligence. It was threatening Nobara by taking the boy hostage.

At that moment, Yuji who was walking through the corridor as he reached a certain wall.

"I'm unarmed. Let the boy go!"

Hearing a familiar voice from the other side of the wall, he turned towards it.

'Oh, I almost forgot about the being held hostage.'

Yuji immediately narrowed his eyes and looked at the wall and discerned the flow of cursed energy from the curse.

He reinforced his body with cursed energy and used cursed energy to envelope his arms and took a stance to hit the wall.

Bam!

"Huh, I missed."

Yuji punched a hole through the wall, as his fist phased through the other side of the wall.

'Huh?'

Nobara was confused too see a fist making a hole, coming from the other side of the wall.

Yuji pulled out his fist and once again too a stance.

Boom! Crash! Crash!

He charged at the wall with an elbow strike, as he entire made large hole in the wall.

He entered the room immediatel.

Swoo!

From the dust and rubble, Yuji emerged and held the boy.

Splat!

Yuji sliced off the arm of the curse, by which it was holding the boy, hostage, with his knife.

At that moment he flipped the knife and stabbed the curse in one eye.

"It's okay now. No one will hurt you."

Yuji said, as he looked at the boy.

"How the hell did you do it?!"

Nobara shouted as she saw Yuji.

The curse was trying to escape. It phased through the wall to jump outside the building.

"Yuji give me it's arm."

Nobara shouted as she took out a straw doll from her bag.

Meanwhile, outside, Megumi got up to exorcise the curse that was jumping outside the building. However, Satoru stopped him.

"Straw Doll Technique: Resonance!"

Meanwhile, inside, Nobara threw the straw doll on curse's arm and planted a nail on it with her hammer, using her cursed technique.

The curse outside had died as it heart stopped beating and large pointed nails pierced it's body.

After accomplishing the mission Yuji and Nobara came outside with the child. The group took the boy at his home.

Satoru congratulated both Yuji and Nobara for accomplishing their first mission successfully. But, Megumi kept quite as he walked.
