Description:
Dire Wolves are a monster variant of Wolves. They are stronger, bigger, and smarter than their brethren, and makes a true pain for humanoids if a pack of these wolves starts to live nearby the humanoids' cities.
While not directly challenging humanoids, the Dire Wolves are talented hunters, so the wildlife in the area they live in will take a large hit if these creatures are allowed to do as they please.
Appearance:
Dire Wolves have the appearance of regular wolves, except they are one size larger, and their fur is dark-grey, sometimes with patterns of black fur.

Dire Wolves are skilled hunters and work in packs with excellent teamwork. Despite having no other special abilities, the mobility and teamwork they possess are enough for them to feel even D-ranked monsters.
However, on their own, Dire Wolves tend to fall behind other monsters of their ranks. They are also bad with environments that are too different from the mountains and forests that these wolves are most often located in.
