Description:
The Phantom Thief class is said to represent the thief that only targets those who have gained power at the expense of others while being aware that they themselves are a villain too. This makes the class's theme a "villain that hunts for villains", something that has made the class quite popular with the common populace.
A Phantom Thief uses grace, secrecy, and skills to steal their prey. They dislike the use of brute force and will rather make a plan, look for an infiltration route without any guards, then strike without the target noticing anything until the treasure is in the hands of the Phantom Thief.
[Shadow Dive] is a strong and popular skill among all the Rogue classes, as it allows the user to enter the World of Shadows and travel from shadow to shadow. The World of Shadows, however, dislikes intruders, so it will "attack" the user so their MP will decrease constantly while they are in the World of Shadows.
[Phantom Thief's Intuition] is an instinct-type skill that allows the Phantom Thief to notice any thievery opportunities, such as when someone is distracted enough to allow some pickpocketing, how a lock should be picked, where hidden mechanisms and doors are located, everything becomes clear for the Phantom Thief. One can consider it the ultimate evolution of the [Discovery] skill for a Thief.
[Information Collection] improves the Phantom Thief's abilities to collect information, sort them out, and discover just what the Thief needs at that moment. A simple, yet crucial skill.
[Phantom Thief's Fingers] can be simply explained as an improved skill for lockpicking and pickpocketing. It goes remarkably well with [Phantom Thief's Intuition].
[Phantom Thief's Acrobatics] is a specialized [Acrobatics] skill that grants a bonus in stealth for the user without slacking at all when compared to the original skill.
[Calling Card] is a special skill for the Phantom Thief. It creates special "calling cards" that affect the mentality of the reader. A true Phantom Thief knows how to utilize every tool, even the caution of their target, making mastering this skill is equal to having mastered the Phantom Thief class.
[Grand Escape]. What is not a heist without things going wrong? [Grand Escape] is a skill designed for this, as it reduces MP and SP consumption while running, grants temporary boosts to SPD and DEX, and even enhances the effects of any other skills that may help the user to escape from their current predicament.
Mira's comment: Hearing the stories about Phantom Thieves was one of the few things that encouraged me when I had to live in the slums.
Flint's comment: Quite fitting that you're one now then...better keep the safe containing the prototypes locked.
