Chapter 756 SEALs Dilemma
Jack Heinz was forced to seek help from his enemies, in a small town near Virginia Beach…
"Hellhound" gloomily sent a reporter out of the garage he lived in.
Then he looked towards the neighboring house, where a teenage blonde girl stood by the kitchen sink, pretending to be busy while watching him.
"Hellhound" glanced at the gray sedan parked across the driveway, then forced a smile for his daughter, waving to indicate he was alright, before heavily walking back into his garage.
"Hellhound" took a beer from the fridge, took a sip, then heavily sat down on the sofa, burying his head in his hands and let out a suppressed growl…
He was now furiously angry, yet completely powerless!
He had seen Qiao, the boss, talking to the Pentagon people in Syria, he had witnessed how they abandoned him...
But still, he held a glimmer of hope that if he just went home, Virginia Base would eventually give him an explanation.
But reality hit him hard, as he couldn't even enter the base, and when he secretly sought out his superiors, he was only told to 'wait'.
"Hellhound" had been waiting for months, but nothing progressed.
He hadn't dared tell his brothers about what he heard in Syria, fearing they might impulsively do something drastic.
But now "Hellhound" himself couldn't wait anymore...
His daughter had been accepted into New York University, but now he had no money, no salary, no benefits, no pension, and not even an identity!
He was like a transparent man who had fought for his country for fifteen years, everyone knew he existed, but nobody acknowledged his identity.
Because of his sense of honor, "Hellhound" hadn't sued like those hostages rescued by Halliburton…
He's been waiting, waiting for someone to give him an explanation!
But unexpectedly, what he had been waiting for turned out to be a reporter, who wanted him to prove he was a SEAL, then he would help him reclaim his identity…
"Prove who he is himself"
This ludicrous situation plunged "Hellhound" into deep despair.
He couldn't understand it; he lived in SEAL Town, everyone around knew him, knew who he was, why did he still need to prove himself to others?
"Hellhound" was no fool, there was more to this reporter's purpose…
But what could he do? Storm into Virginia Base with a gun and make the commander acknowledge his identity?
Just as "Hellhound" was in deep turmoil, suddenly, a loud bang came from outside…
"Bang"
An old pickup truck harshly hit the side of a gray sedan…
As "Hellhound" rushed out to check, he saw the hot-tempered 'Gunpowder' smashing the sedan's window with the butt of a Remington, then dragging two men in suits out through the window…
Seeing the situation was bad, "Hellhound" rushed over to restrain 'Gunpowder'.
As he grabbed 'Gunpowder's' arm, he saw one of the men pull out a pistol...
"Bang"
"Hellhound" forcefully pushed 'Gunpowder' to dodge the shot, then he himself delivered a vicious side kick, hitting the shooter's head.
The impact of his size 48 boots deformed the man's face, sending him sideward half a meter, and he collapsed unconscious against the car engine.
"Hellhound" quickly picked up the fallen pistol and disarmed the other middle-aged white man…
Seeing a strange smile appearing on the disarmed man's face, "Hellhound" sensed danger; with a punch to the man's ribs and grabbing his neck, he yelled, "Who the hell are you?"
The middle-aged white man, writhing in pain, spat out some gastric acid, then grimly replied, "We are from the Naval Intelligence Center, we were ordered to surveil dangerous individuals.
I've investigated you, if I were you, I'd run fast, the police and Naval Criminal Investigative Service will be here soon."
"Hellhound" was stunned, then shaking the middle-aged man hard by the neck, shouted "Why the hell should I run? What did I do wrong?"
The middle-aged white man perhaps out of sympathy, bleeding from his teeth, said, "Initially, you did nothing wrong, but now you've attacked us, and stolen my gun."
Looking at the enraged 'Gunpowder', the middle-aged man shook his head and said, "Run far and don't come back, so your family won't get involved…"
"Hellhound" was completely stunned, feeling like a small fish caught in a huge net, no matter how he struggled, he couldn't seem to get fair treatment.
Watching the middle-aged man's pained expression, "Hellhound" let go, stood up, and as he saw neighbors watching from their windows with strange looks, he clasped his head and screamed in agony...
"Dad…"
