Chapter 60: Po, Tigress and Viper
The sky was a canvas of twilight, painted in hues of soft lavender and deep indigo, speckled with the first shimmering stars of the night. A gentle breeze rustled through the trees, carrying with it the faint fragrance of cherry blossoms. The land was at peace. China was united. And tonight, for the first time in a long while, Po was free of his duties.
He wasn't the Emperor of China tonight.
He wasn't the God of Kung Fu.
He was just Po. And he was on a date with two of the most beautiful warriors in the world.
The trio walked side by side along a winding path that led through a secluded valley. The moonlight bathed the landscape in a soft glow, reflecting off the tranquil lake nearby. Fireflies danced in the air, their golden light flickering like stars brought to earth.
Po was in the center, dressed in something simple but regal, a loose-fitting robe of dark red and gold embroidery. His blindfold was removed tonight—he wanted to see this moment with his own eyes.
To his left walked Tigress, strong and radiant, dressed in an elegant yet functional outfit, somewhere between warrior attire and formal robes. She moved with her usual confident grace, but there was a softness in her eyes tonight—a rare vulnerability that only Po ever got to see.
To his right was Viper, in her humanoid form, a stunning balance of her old self and something entirely new. Her sleek, emerald-green scales shimmered in the moonlight, and her lithe form carried the same deadly elegance she always had. With each step, she felt more comfortable in her new body, the two of them making her feel more at home than she ever had before.
"You know," Po grinned, stretching his arms behind his head, "I gotta say, I'm really lucky to be with two of the most beautiful and deadly warriors in all of China."
Tigress smirked, her golden eyes glinting. "Lucky? Or just good at Kung Fu?"
Po chuckled. "Both."
Viper giggled, stepping closer and slipping her hand into his. "You talk big, but you're really just a big softie."
Tigress rolled her eyes. "Don't let him fool you. He enjoys every second of being worshiped as the Dragon Emperor."
"Hey, hey," Po held up his free hand in surrender, "I didn't ask to be worshiped. People just can't help themselves." He shot them both a mischievous grin. "But I do enjoy being worshiped by the two of you."
Tigress huffed, but her tail flicked in amusement. Viper just laughed, squeezing Po's hand.
They reached a perfect spot—a clearing with a view of the lake, where a small stone table had already been prepared for them. Po had arranged for a simple but luxurious dinner, laid out beneath a massive cherry blossom tree. Lanterns were placed around, their soft glow adding warmth to the scene.
Tigress raised an eyebrow. "When did you—"
Po grinned. "Emperor privileges."
They sat down together, enjoying a spread of dumplings, fresh fruit, and delicate tea. They talked, laughed, and for once, there was no pressure—no training, no battles, no world-ending threats.
It was just them.
At one point, Tigress and Viper playfully bickered over who got to sit closest to Po.
"Come on, Viper," Tigress said smugly, arms crossed. "I've been with him the longest."
Viper smirked, twirling a dumpling between her fingers. "And yet, I'm more flexible."
Po nearly choked on his tea. "Okay, wow."
The two laughed at his flustered expression, while he just grinned, shaking his head.
As dinner ended, they moved to the lake's edge. The reflection of the stars shimmered across the water, and the air was filled with the soothing sound of crickets and rustling leaves.
Po stood between them, looking out over the lake with a rare seriousness in his gaze.
"…You know," he said softly, breaking the peaceful silence, "I've spent so much of my life fighting. Training. Trying to be the best version of myself." He turned, looking at both of them. "And I've realized something. I don't want to do this journey alone."
Tigress and Viper exchanged glances before looking back at him.
Po took a deep breath. "So… what if we got married?"
Silence.
The world seemed to stop.
Then—
Tigress pounced on him first, knocking him onto his back with a forceful embrace, peppering his face with kisses.
Viper was not far behind, wrapping around him, her own kisses trailing along his cheek and jaw.
"Yes." Tigress growled against his lips, her voice husky with emotion.
"Yes." Viper whispered, nuzzling against his neck.
Po just laughed, overwhelmed and beyond happy.
It was settled.
They were going to be together.
Forever.
The rest of the night was theirs.
The stars above watched as they disappeared into the privacy of their secluded paradise.
There was laughter, whispers, and playful teasing.
There were soft gasps and deep, loving embraces.
And in the end, there was only warmth, only love.
A night of passion. A night of promises.
A night that sealed their bond in a way that no words ever could.
As the first light of dawn painted the sky in hues of gold and pink, Po stirred, feeling the familiar warmth on either side of him.
Tigress rested against his chest, her arms loosely wrapped around him.
Viper lay curled at his side, her fingers tracing lazy circles on his arm.
Po sighed in contentment, smiling as he held them closer.
He had everything he could ever want.
And it was only the beginning.
