Special Broadcast: Press Conference at the Imperial Hall

[Scene opens in the Grand Press Hall of Blackwood Palace]

Flags of the Empire hang behind the stage, flanked by elite palace guards in deep black and gold. Cameras flash, reporters whisper, and tension is thick in the air. At the front podium stand Queen Skylar Blackwood and Dictator Christiana Blackwood, regal and imposing, yet visibly under pressure. This is the first time both women appear in public together since the incident.

"We're here live, where the Queen and the Dictator are expected to address the nation. This is the most anticipated moment since the violent confrontation that left both Emperor Chris and Crown Prince Classic in comas. The nation holds its breath."

[Press Conference Begins]

Christiana (stone-faced, in full black uniform):

"Good evening. The Empire still stands. My father may be wounded, my brother may be fighting for his life, but the throne is not empty, and the Blackwood will does not falter."

Skylar (firmly):

"You all have questions. We are here to answer them. But understand this: anyone seeking weakness in our Empire will find only fire."

"Your Grace, Dictator, what is the current condition of the Emperor and the Crown Prince?"

Skylar:

"My husband is in critical but stable condition. Our son remains unconscious, but our best healers are with him. And so am I."

Christiana:

"They live. And as long as they do, the Empire breathes."

"Dictator, what is your stance on the creation of the Caniner position and the man who held it?"

Christiana (voice tight):

"I respected the structure my father created. But power without discipline leads to rebellion. Xavier chose betrayal over duty. I will never allow such a threat to arise again under my watch."

"Queen Skylar, was your execution of Xavier sanctioned or personal?"

Skylar (eyes sharp):

"My execution of Xavier was justice. Not vengeance. He drew blood in my house. He betrayed his oath. And he endangered my son. The moment that bullet flew, he signed his own end."

"Christiana, do you now hold full control over the military and governance?"

Christiana (calmly):

"As Dictator, yes. Until my father or brother rises again, I carry both their burdens. I do not seek the crown. I hold it in trust."

Christiana:

"The position is suspended indefinitely. And no one—no one—will stand beside the Dictator in authority again unless decreed directly by the Emperor himself."

[Skylar closes the conference]

Skylar:

"We've survived assassins. We've survived war. And now we've survived treachery from within. The world may watch, but let this be clear: the Blackwood Empire is not broken. It is angry."

Christiana (quietly, with cold fire in her tone):

"And when the Blackwood Empire is angry… it conquers."

[Press conference ends with total silence. Then a storm of questions erupts, but both women walk away unfazed, heads high.]
