He recognized it as a common beast of the 3rd rank. Beasts in this world were categorized into eight ranks, each more powerful than the last. Upon reaching the 8th rank, they would evolve into a new form, gaining even greater strength and abilities. Though the 3rd rank was still relatively low, the beast was formidable enough to pose a significant threat.

Despite his body being of the apprentice rank, Kael had no battle experience and knew better than to engage thoughtlessly. He held his breath, praying that the creature wouldn't notice him. The beast continued to roam the area, but eventually, it lost interest and moved on. Kael remained hidden for a few moments longer, ensuring the danger had passed before he dared to move again.
