Legacy of the Six Paths Senjutsu

Chapter 13: CHAPTER 13

"Does the Host want to use a special lottery draw?"

"Of course!!!"

"Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have inherited the full set of Wind Style: Rasengan techniques from the Shinobi World of Naruto!"

"Rasengan? Not bad at all!"

In the world of Naruto, Rasengan was originally created by the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, after he studied the destructive force of the Tailed Beast Bomb. He spent three years developing it into a powerful, shape-manipulated jutsu.

What made Rasengan unique was its adaptability—it could evolve into various forms, making it one of the most devastating ninjutsu techniques in existence!

However, Ayr didn't need to train or evolve Rasengan himself. Thanks to the system's inheritance, he could now instantly perform all Rasengan techniques.

Of course, there was a limitation—Sage Art: Rasengan was still out of reach. Ayr had yet to master Sage Mode, meaning he could only use Rasengan's normal variations.

But even those were formidable.

After all, none of Rasengan's techniques fell below A-rank ninjutsu!

A special energy surged through Ayr's body.

This was the system embedding the knowledge and mechanics of Rasengan into his mind.

In the Naruto world, ninjutsu required Chakra to execute, but there was no Chakra in the One Piece world.

Thus, the system made an adjustment—it converted Chakra usage into physical stamina!

Truly a considerate system.

Within moments, Ayr had completely inherited the Rasengan techniques.

With this, his combat ability had skyrocketed several times over!

Following this, his status panel popped up.

---

Looking at his updated stats, Ayr's lips curled into a smirk.

After acquiring Rasengan, he didn't need additional training to master it—the jutsu's power directly correlated with his own strength.

As for Sage Body, its progress bar had increased from 1000 to 2000 after reaching mid-tier.

Ayr wasn't particularly surprised by this. He didn't mind—Rocks Pirates was the best place for growth.

Closing his status panel, Ayr glanced around his room.

He wanted to test Rasengan's power, but after some thought, he reconsidered.

Releasing Rasengan indoors? That would be reckless.

Considering its destructive force, he would likely obliterate the entire room.

Reluctantly, he gave up the idea.

Instead, he resumed his training to push Sage Body's progress toward advanced level faster.

---

Hours Later—Nightfall

"Phew…"

Ayr let out a slow exhale. After half a day of intense training, sweat dripped down his body.

"Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have gained +2 Sage Body progress."

Hearing the system notification, Ayr nodded.

2 points.

It wasn't much, but progress was progress.

Besides, training wasn't just about Sage Body points.

It also honed his overall strength.

Satisfied, Ayr headed to the private bathroom in his cadre-level room and took a hot shower.

Living as a cadre had its perks.

Unlike the interns and regular crew members, who had to either bathe in the sea or visit the public bathhouse, Ayr had access to his own personal bathroom.

After washing up, he collapsed onto his bed, ready to rest.

But then—

"Knock, knock, knock!"

Sudden knocking echoed from the door.

"Who is it?" Ayr asked, voice slightly annoyed.

"Lord Ayr, Captain Rocks has summoned you to the bow. He has something important to discuss," a pirate responded respectfully from the other side.

"I see."

Ayr sat up and changed into his clothes.

Right.

Rocks had mentioned earlier that he wanted to speak to him tonight.

With his mind still occupied by training, Ayr had nearly forgotten about it.

Now, he was curious—

What exactly did Rocks want from him?

After all, it had only been one day since he joined Rocks Pirates.

Yes, he had injured the Golden Lion twice during their morning confrontation, but anyone with keen eyes could tell—

Golden Lion hadn't used his full strength.

He was simply caught off guard.

Ayr, in terms of strength, was not weak among the Rocks Pirates, but he was definitely not among the strongest.

Meanwhile, Rocks D. Xebec was the undisputed strongest on the ship.

Even Golden Lion respected him.

So why was such a monstrous captain suddenly interested in him?

Ayr couldn't figure it out.

Regardless, he followed the pirate toward the deck.

---

The Deck—Nighttime

The moon hung high in the sky, casting its silver glow upon the vast ocean.

At this hour, the deck was mostly empty.

The only person present was a burly figure standing at the bow of the ship.

Rocks D. Xebec.

Ayr gazed at the man's back, standing silent for a few seconds before stepping forward.

Step. Step. Step.

His footsteps echoed against the wooden deck as he approached.

At the same time, Rocks slightly turned his head, his sharp gaze locking onto Ayr.

"Captain Rocks, why did you call me here?" Ayr asked, getting straight to the point.

Rather than answering, Rocks smirked.

Instead, he posed a question of his own.

"Ayr… what is your purpose for becoming a pirate?"

"…The purpose of becoming a pirate?"

Ayr blinked.

For the first time, he was caught off guard.

Because he didn't have an answer.

When he first set out to sea, he never intended to become a pirate.

He never wanted to be a Marine either.

And now…

For the first time, Ayr found himself questioning his own path.
