Legendary Broken Player - VRMMORPG

Chapter 738 - The Royal Wedding Gossip Hour

"Tora! Ha ha ha! I'm thrilled to have you here on the show tonight. This is such a monumental moment!"

The talk show setting was nothing short of fantastical luxury. The room exuded an opulent yet whimsical atmosphere, with golden chandeliers suspended in mid-air.

On one side of the stage sat Brando, the charismatic host, dressed sharply in a black suit.

Seated across from him, Tora, a member of the Vensalor Guild, gave a small smile as he adjusted his posture.

"I know you're now part of the famed Vensalor Guild," Brando continued. "And let's be honest—your guild, especially your guild leader, is at the center of every conversation right now! Nobody can believe what's happening! Her Majesty Queen Alora is marrying Broken?! Come on, Tora, you've got to share some insider details with us tonight."

Tora smiled politely.

"Brando, thank you for having me on the show." He nodded slightly before continuing. "Yes, this is undeniably a huge moment. Broken's contributions during the last war, combined with his relationship with Queen Alora—well, that's something that's been growing for a long time. What people don't realize is that their bond was cultivated through countless experiences, many of which aren't known to the public. This wasn't something that just happened overnight. It's the result of persistence, dedication, and…"

Tora trailed off briefly, shaking his head with a small smile before finishing.

"…only someone like Broken could achieve something like this."

Brando let out a hearty laugh, clapping his hands.

"Ha ha ha! Of course, you'd sing praises about your guild master, wouldn't you?"

He grinned. "But now, let's hear another perspective."

Brando turned toward the next guest.

"Joining us tonight is someone who's had several run-ins with Broken in the past—both during unexpected encounters and even in competitive settings. Please welcome… Titonor, an Advanced Rank Blacksmith!"

The camera panned to Titonor.

"Well, I'm not a stranger to Broken," he said, his tone calm. "I've known him since he first started gaining attention back in Clario Town… no, not too far back. Maybe just one or two years Yunatea time. Yes, I'd say I've got a decent understanding of how he acts, especially when we end up competing against each other."

Brando's eyes lit up as he jumped in.

"Oh, you mean the competition where he won by crafting that Legendary-grade spear, right?"

"Yes!" Titonor replied. "That was… sheer luck."

Before Brando could respond, Tora smirked, leaning forward slightly. "It's not luck if he's able to do it more than once."

Titonor let out a chuckle, shaking his head. "It's still luck. He hasn't managed to pull off something like that again, has he?"

"Oh, are you fishing for me to tell you just how many Legendary-grade items Broken has crafted since then? Is that it?"

Brando waved a hand, cutting in with a laugh.

"Alright, alright, let's not start a blacksmith war on the show! I can feel the energy between you two already."

He gestured back toward Titonor. "Let's stay focused. So, Titonor, what do you think is extraordinary about Broken that's gotten him to where he is now?"

Titonor wasted no time, his tone turning sharp.

"He's got luck. And he's surrounded by wealthy backers. Everyone knows the reputation of the Ass Guild. Whatever's going on in their heads, I'm sure Broken figured out how to leverage that to his advantage. That's how they ended up joining his guild. And now? Marrying Queen Alora? That's just the icing on the cake for a victory that wasn't solely his effort."

"Titonor, were you even watching the whole war?" Tora said. "Because I was there. I saw it all unfold in real time. Do you need me to walk you through everything from the beginning?"

"Alright!" Brando interjected, clapping his hands with a wide grin to break the escalating tension.

"I know that was one hell of a war—an absolutely incredible event! I wasn't in the capital when it happened, but my eyes never left the broadcast, courtesy of Tora and Max. And yes, I saw it—the moment Broken held back the meteor. With… What kind of item or skill was that?!"

Titonor chimed in quickly.

"That wouldn't have been possible without everyone's contribution in the battle. Frostedge and Galactron were there, too, and let's not forget the thousands of players fighting on the ground."

"Oh, now tell me that it would've ended just as well without Broken?" Tora quipped.

Brando nodded thoughtfully, leaning forward.

"That's also a big question. Just what kind of item was that? How did Broken manage to get the right thing at the right time?"

Titonor smirked, shaking his head as he added, "Oh, maybe Broken knew it was going to happen all along."

Tora's expression didn't falter as he shot back. "That's why I keep saying, Titonor, you'll never fully grasp what's happening. Broken is far beyond what you can understand, even in blacksmithing."

Titonor straightened slightly, his tone now more serious. "I've been a blacksmith since the very first day Immortal Legacy launched. I can take on any challenge from any blacksmith across Yunatea and answer all their questions with ease."

Tora raised a brow but didn't respond.

Brando seized the moment, turning toward Titonor with an eager grin.

"Now, Titonor, enlighten us casuals about blacksmithing. What do you think Broken did to craft an item capable of stopping that meteor while involving so many people in the process?"

Titonor exhaled, rubbing his chin as if considering the question carefully.

"Well, to pull off something like that…" he began, his tone slowing. "It had to be a high-level crafted item, likely Legendary or close to it. But that alone wouldn't cut it."

Titonor paused, his hand resting on his chin as he continued,

"The materials must've been incredibly expensive and versatile. Like, I don't know, maybe a ton of soul stones."

Brando's eyebrows shot up.

"A ton of soul stones? Just one is already a fortune!"

"Exactly," Titonor nodded. "Soul stones are used to amplify effects. If the item was crafted with a single, specific purpose, there are really only two possible explanations. Either the blueprint already existed, or there was access to something like a creative blueprint—an item that allows someone to design a unique blueprint tailored to their needs, setting the materials and even finer details manually."

Brando tapped the armrest of his chair, nodding thoughtfully. "I have to say, that explanation makes a lot of sense."

Tora smirked, leaning slightly toward Titonor. "I'll give you credit, Titonor. Your knowledge of blacksmithing is impressive."

"But I'm not convinced Broken had access to something like that. How could he get such an item? And the materials—how would he manage to gather them, especially in a time-sensitive, high-pressure situation?"

Tora raised a brow at him. "And I'm sure you don't know every single person backing Broken in detail, do you?"

Before Tora could reply, Brando chimed in with a grin. "I know for a fact that someone important from Northstar is part of the Vensalor Guild. Doesn't that make this kind of feat entirely achievable?"

[Coaltrain]: "Tora defending Broken like a loyal knight! Meanwhile, Titonor looks like he's trying not to admit he's impressed. 😂"

[kenneth_burton]: "Brando's the real MVP, just sitting there stoking the fire between these two."

[Corodix]: "Titonor: 'I'm not impressed.' Also Titonor: Explains in detail how impressive Broken's work is."

[Twisted_Lives]: "'A ton of soul stones' My broke self can't even imagine having ONE. This man's casually throwing numbers like he's counting spare change."

[Patrick_Raines]: "Brando is me at every family drama: 'Alright, let's calm down, but also… continue. 🍿'"

[Andthomas4]: "'I've been a blacksmith since launch!' Okay, Titonor, but Broken's the one marrying a queen, sooo… 🤷‍♂️"

[Dax_Chaney]: "The man hates, but also educates. It's like watching someone roast their favorite idol while secretly buying all their merch."

[SteinsTrextus]: "Plot twist: Titonor's detailed explanation about Broken's item was actually just a job application for Vensalor Guild. "

[DaoistLIML1o]: "This is why I stopped playing. You build an empire, defend the kingdom, and some random guy with plot armor gets the queen. 😂"

[drg573]: "As if it wasn't bad enough that Broken's already OP, now he's marrying into royalty? Nerf him, devs. PLEASE."

[jurgen_tayman]: "This man literally just completed the tutorial a year ago and now he's ruling the kingdom? Meanwhile, I'm still stuck fighting boars. 😭"

[Lewis_Cooper_9575]: "Alora: 'He saved the kingdom!' Me: 'So did 20,000 other players. Where's their ring?' 🙄"

[Luke_Phillips_3333]: "They say love conquers all, but apparently, so does being a top-tier player. GG Broken, GG. 👏"
